Many of you really enjoyed my last video in which I was unpacking the Polish MRE, so I decided to make another one. This time we will take a closer look at the American MRE.

I would LOVE for there to be an asmr channel dedicated solely to MRE unboxing videos. Something about the thick plastic wrapping, the assortment of objects, and the fact that I'm genuinely curious about what's inside makes these kinds of videos so great.

Wydia A It is actually just gum. It's not a laxative and thats actually a common myth that went around. It's literally just for cleaning the teeth and mouth especially if it were an actual emergency situation considering you can get infections and bone decay if you don't brush your teeth. My father was in the military for 25 years and I lived on a base for a while and of course google tells you about it but yeah you can totally pop some gum to keep minty fresh incase some cuties come your way 😎

Well, it depends on which part you work in, the higher level it is, the better food it is like full class meals

everyone would trade anything from there mres for peanut butter
If you combine it with the chocolate beverage powder and the right amount of water you can make some "ranger pudding", pretty good stuff.

Hey! I picked up this exact MRE at a flea market over the weekend. I'd recommend it. Also, when you use that heater to heat up the food, it smells pretty bad.

If I remember correctly from my time in the Army, it was like 12 meals for breakfast, 'bout 20 for lunch and 'nother 13 or so for supper.
They also aren't emergency packs.

Hi surge. Love the videos. After being in the navy and watching this video years ago, I’ve learned a bout mre’s and personally had some my self. From what I recall I’m pretty sure the bag has to be seated up to cook properly. Again love the videos.

My dad brought back a ton of these when I was a kid. I loved them bc I though I was the ultimate survivor badass that i thought my dad was at the time. I had one recently and they are truly awful. The whole point of an MRE is to pack as many calories into it as you can and be cheap. I’d mainly stay away from anything with cheese. You’ll be blocked up for days
