Hi Brent! Amazing job! It was a real pleasure meeting you and Jamie and helping you to go to this beautiful neighborhood.
Thanks for choosing Rio!
Btw, congrats for 30.000!!I love being part of your community!🎉🎉
Hello Cydda, I hope you're doing great!
You did an amazing tour guide and you were nice to Brent and his wife.
@@mahdialshammari128 Hi Mahdi! Thanks my friend. We tried our best to help Brent and Jamie. It was a real pleasure meeting them in person. It's an once-in-a-lifetime chance!
Cida, thanks so much!
Cida, you're amazing ❤ I've never been to Brazil but I have a friend who lives in Curitiba. You live in a beautiful place 🎉
Brazilians, you are awesome!!!! Love you all! ♥️🇧🇷 Thanks for sharing, Brent!
Cecilia, so true.
I really couldn't resist to watch this video in the same moment I got the notification. This is definitely one of those "once-in-a-lifetime-experiences". Thank you Brent AND also my dear friend Cida for making this adventure possible 😊 I would really love to go to that one bar one day to have a nice drink and just enjoy the breathtaking view and atmosphere 😊 This video exceeded my expectations by far and was truly worth the wait! THANK YOU a billion times! This really made my day! PS: Congrats on reaching 30K! You deserve it so much for your great content! Keep it up, please!
Tanja, thanks so much. I agree. Cida was great.
Thanks Tanja! We tried our best to help Brent.
What a film! Better than going to the cinema😎Enjoined every minute of it:terrific views, real people, great insight into their lives! You rock, Brent! And , of course, big thanks to Cida without whom this video wouldn't have been possible❤. Congrats with 30 K! it's not the limit, I'm sure🤝💥
Thanks so much, Konstantin. It was probably my favorite video to ever film.
This experience was really UNIQUE so to speak! Hahaha ... Cida was a good cicerone and now should go to check how snowstorms are in Maine! Hahaha ... May you all have a good time there! Can't wait to see the next video!
I think we’ve finally seen the last of the snow in Maine. 😀
So, Teacher Brent you took some time to come visit Brazil. I hope you enjoy the moments in Rio. For a tourist it can be a interesting experience. But, I wouldn't recommend you to go deep in some areas through "favela".
We had locals with us. A friend that lives there and a guy that has permission to take tourists there.
As a Brazilian native (Carioca Guy), I felt represented. Great job, Brent! Brilliant idea Cidda to visit one of our favela. The majority favelas residents are kind, friendly, honest and receptive.
Congrats!!!!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🫶🏻☺️
I really liked our trip to the favela. Everyone seems super nice.
Brent, you're a brillliant travel blogger 😊👍 By the way I love traveling vlogs. Thank you so much! Cida's English is is so good 🎉 You're the best teacher ❤
Olga, that is so very kind of you. 🙏🏼
Thanks so much for the compliment! Lots to improve yet, but tried my best to help my friend and teacher!
A thrilling journey, like an adventure
Hi Brent, Jamie, and Cida!
Thank you so much for the special English lesson.
I was really impressed with your visit to the dangerous neighborhood. It was very interesting to see the inside of a favela and to learn about the people who live there.
Congrats on reaching 30K! I'm always impressed with your English lessons, Brent. You make learning English fun and interesting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Ulia, thanks so much for the encouragement.
Man, that was such an authentic experience and I’m glad you could make a video out of it. Seeing Cida in the video just warms my heart. Translating on the spot takes a lot of skill but she was up for it.
And hey, I was able to catch “feijoada” when she was talking to that Açaí guy because I once thought about making it but I quickly realized how hard it was to make at home! Did you also get to try Coxinha? 😋🇧🇷🙌
Hi Mohd! It's nice to see you around. Thanks for the compliment! I need to improve a lot my English but I couldn't let Brent miss that experience, so I tried my best to help him. Unfortunately it's hard to find people who speak good English and that are willing to enter a favela.
I'm not sure he and Jamie tried coxinha 🍗 hahaha
Cida was great. It was such a unique experience.
I'm speechless, I'm so happy for you guys ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Cida is really kind and amazing person.
Thanks my friend!
So great to see you guys all together. I hope you had a good time with Cida and in Brazil. 🌻
We had such a great time.
Congratulation Brand. With you it's amazing to accompany you during your trip in Rio. I could not imagine the wonderful views you offered us
It's a real gift, so we feel the real atmosphere in which you have been strolling into the favella
A wink from France. Have a good day see you in a next video
Aw, Glonist. Thanks for the kind words.
What a cool experience. That ladder looks sketchy though. I hope you will do a live stream with Jamie and talk about your adventure in Brazil.
Etienne, thanks so much for watching.
Hello Teacher brent! Greetings from philippines! I've been watching your videos lately. Really great help watching your videos and helps me with my english speaking skills. Godbless you and more sucess to come!
Thanks for the very nice comment. 🙏🏼
Actually i haven't watched the video yet. i just came here to say congratulations to Mr. brent on hitting 30K subscribers on youtube❤🎉🔥. But you deserve way more than this 😊✌
Thanks so much!
Great video Brent, thanks for sharing it with us.
thanks for sharing your travel
My pleasure. I had a blast filming it.
Congratulations on hitting 30k subs. You truly deserve more than that.
Mahmood, 🙏🏼
Be safe out there! Congratulations on hitting 30k amigo!

Why do US people love visiting favelas? Madonna has bought a house in some of Rio's ones. By the way, will you stay for her beach concert? She will be granted Rio's honorable citizenship. A hint- you can make up your own açaí smooth at a good açaí parlor. And it is quite amusing to hear you speak some Portuguese in Rio's accent.
Morning, Sir. Let my learning started for today's new update.
Is really great to see u visiting us, brant!
It's cool 👍 Many thanks 👍
This vídeo is amazing❤
Brent would you please make a video with your wife Jamie and share your impressions about Brazil? Pros and cons, just your opinion 😊
That's a good idea. Thank you.
Thanks brent for this video.
Thanks for watching. 🙏🏼
Hi Mr Brent❤I’m really enjoying. It was great 👍 thank you so much ❤👌🏻👌🏻🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👌🏻👌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video ! 👍👍👍
Thank you! 👍
Thank you, Brent, and thank you @Cydda13 for showing us these nice and dangerous places! But I didn’t know that you like to explore risky areas.
Mahdi, I agree. Cida did a great job!
Amazing video, cool experience 😄😎
This is very dangerous. Come here to Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. I Wish you here.😊obrigada.🇧🇷👍
I would love to. Thank you.
We were with people that are allowed to take tourists there. I would never put Brent and Jamie in a dangerous situation.
Have a great day
Você tá no Brasil? Ahhaha que bacana🇧🇷🇧🇷
Amazing video, I'm Brazilian, living in Paraná 🇧🇷
Thanks! 😃
Hi Bruno! I love Paraná. I've already been to Foz do Iguaçu, Curitiba, Ponta Grossa and Pontal do Sul (Ilha do Mel). Your state is simply gorgeous!
Hey Brent, give yourself a few pats on the back. Most Brazilians wouldn't dare to set foot in there. 👏👏👏
Michael, I met some delightful people that day.
@michel being with people from the community and with people allowed to take tourists there, it's really no problem. One shouldn't go there alone or without permission, but with the right people it's totally safe.
Quite nice. I live further south in Brazil, and I expected the favela to be a lot worse. And I know that the US is a entirely different country, but now that you've been to different parts of Rio de Janeiro, how do you think Brazilian cities compare to the American ones?
It's hard for me to say. I've really only visited Rio, but I think it's a great city.
Great. Ainda quero estar ai.
I really love such videos. 😅
I thought you were going to Rocinha, the largest favela in south America
I know nobody there. That's why I didn't take Brent there. In Cantagalo-Pavão-Pavãozinho I have friends.
@@Cydda13 oh yeah It wouldn't do much good taking them there if you don't know no one to turn too
People in Brazil seem happy
I couldn't agree more. They treated us very well.
would you like to come to Egypt One day
Yes, one day, I hope. 🤞🏼
Time 11:21 This image are of Zé Pilantra, salve seu Zé 🙏🏻♥️
Oh, wow! Thanks for letting me know.
Very cool to see you in Brazil,i like to see your videos but favela is not interesting for me
Brent, why don't you go to other parts of Brazil, besides Rio de Janeiro and são Paulo? I don't know if you go to são Paulo or not, but, maybe it Will be your next city in Brazil, Brent, a questão to you, why almost all people from Canadá an USA, when they come tô Brazil, they always come tô this two places, Brazil is gigantic country, there are a lot of cities much more interesting than são Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, maybe you as a Foreigner can say, why does it happen?
Probably the same reason, tourist visiting the United States oh, go to New York City. Stuff like that. We only had 10 days.
Awesome journey, big up to my favorite English teacher!
