Mel used her mother as bait, once Caitlyn removed Rictus' rune sigils, and sent her into Leblanc's realm. She did it to get the jump on her and destroy her because she knew that LeBlanc was lying to her from the start, but she couldn't fight her straight up. So she used her mother as a distraction to achieve that victory and free herself from servitude to the Black Rose.

If you pause exactly at 38:17 before the explosion goes off, you can see jinx's shimmer dash to the top right which is probably one of the air ducts caitlyn was shown looking at in the end.

The Ekko Jinx dance scene was animated in 4 FPS instead of the usual 24 to represent his want to live in that moment. His ability also only rewinds up to 4 seconds... and you should look up the song "Ma Meilleure Ennemie" theres a lot going on there as well.

Jinx lived, btw. Not a theory but a fact. The explosion, did you see the blue lightning? she shimmered. And Caitlyn looking at the bluprints and seeing all the exits and her doing a small smirk, Jinx lived. She faked her death to start over. Also the airship, she always wanted to be on one and that was the final shot.

as long as it's not officially shown it's just a theory, the hints could also be just placed so people can make their own ending, i agree the hints are a bit too bvious, but for me Jinx' death actually meant something and makes more sense

    -Annie: origins
-Welcome Aboard - Odyssey Animated trailer
-“The Path, An Ionian Myth” then “Kin of the Stained Blade”
Champion re-work trailers (these are when they make trailers for champions who have been re-worked. League is an on-going game that still runs on an old engine, as of so far they haven’t decided to update the engine, but it’s a live service game. Each year they release new champions, effects, etc. Basically old champs can fall behind from graphics, gameplay, etc. so every season they will re-work a few champs and launch a trailer to tease them)
    -Fiddlesticks: terror in Demacia
Tip for all of these, they should be in the playlist on leagues youtube page and easy to find. I omitted some that are already mentioned. I put * symbol by some because they are best watched in an order. For example, you can find the ruination event if you look up “sentinels of light” - and playlist by timfernix (ironically ruination event is not a playlist on leagues youtube page lol)
Start watching all the League of Legends animated music videos:
    1) Phoenix
    2) Legends Never Die
    3) Enemy
    4) Rise
    5) Breathe
    6) K/DA (This is K-Pop music)
Then there are the Tales of Runeterra:
    Noxus
    Demacia
    Freljord
    Bilgewater
    Don't Mess With The Yordles
    Ionia
    Shadow Isles
    Targon
    Piltover and Zaun
    Shurima
Then there's the ORIGIN stories and Summoner's Rift Cinematics.
    Annie
    Darius
    Warwick
    Fiddlesticks
    Ekko
    Amumu
    Xayah and Rakan
    The Path, An Ionian Myth
    Kin of The Stained Blade
    Ryze Call of Power
    A New Dawn
    Feeding Frenzy
(two newest one's are "blood, Sweat, Tears" & "Heavy is the Crown - Linkin Park Music video"
Lastly I highly recommend reacting “NECRIT”, he is a long time youtuber who’s whole channel is based on league of legends lore and content. Some great one’s are “Riot MMO is almost done.” And gives you a great overview of the world of Runeterra. I also highly highly recommend reacting to “Bridging The Rift - Making of Arcane” It is amazing documentary about the making of Arcane and Riot games is very friendly on not copy righting their content

It’s taken me a while to write this, almost debated starting up my own youtube channel just to make a video analysis video lol. I have my initial impressions and then after thinking about it for a while. First thoughts without bullet points was Act 3 of Season 2, just didn’t have enough runway. I think they tried to cram in so many thoughts, plots, characters, etc. and at least for me, left an unsatisfactory and distasteful ending. On a personal level, I don't actually blame the showrunners or writers in this case. For example, it is widely considered and regarded that D&D, writers for Game of Thrones decided they wanted to be done with it, so they basically got lazy and started Teleporting everybody, everywhere and characters were acting out of line. In this case, I think Riot either needed to give them a whole another season, or at least increase the runtime for each episode, if not the last act to flesh it out. The biggest criticism of Arcane is the pacing, and maybe I had rose colored glasses on, but it really shows in the last act. There's definitely special moments. I'm going to make a bullet point list. I'll start with my negatives and then move to positives, it could be much longer but I'm going to try to keep it condensed to important things to me. Also for some background, I played league from season 5- to season 9. I knew the characters, lore, universe, etc.
    Negatives
    - Loris death(aka i like to call him Zander, Vanders half brother that their mother didn't tell them about an affair lol) - I found his death very lack luster and bs. You're telling me this dude who took on a large chemtank with a beefy shield, got taken down by some Noxus soldiers with arrows…? I called bs the second it happened.
    - Ambessa - I am personally underwhelmed by her character, knowing Noxus and Noxians. While she did take on Mel who's now a powerful mage and Cait who has fighting training now, I found her weak. Noxus and Ambessa as a whole should've been the main antagonist of this whole season, culminating in a final battle involving Vi, Jinx, and whomever else. I guess I would say just more action scenes, even though ironically I think just more screen time. But if it's just action, we got her using her blades ONCE? Again maybe it's just me, but very disappointed in her as a character from the writers. That also includes, she wanted to use Viktor to defeat the black rose but is she really that dumb to not realize what Viktor’s plan is…? If anything, that just makes her naive and believe Ambessa is far from naive, even with her runes, I don't think she defeats Viktors minions.
    - Viktor, Jayce and just the “Arcane” this kind of elaborates on my main thought. With a little extra context of other reactor thoughts and general consensus the pacing is fast. I've seen some people mention, when we get away from Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Piltover vs. Zaun and into the world building, some people got lost in the sauce. In the making of the show, the creators talk about how their original draft was very plot driven, not character driven. People are invested into Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Jayce, etc. Piltover and Zaun. Their hardships, downfalls, relationships, etc. In the span of the last 3 episodes or just act, we got from character driven into all powerful mage trying to annihilate the world, Jayce getting powers basically through the hammer, Mel becomes a powerful mage, generic super army, Mel betrays the Black Rose so people at least at this point wouldn't learn more about them, their goals, etc. I could go on but in simplicity I thought a lot of stakes were lost.
    - Jinx's “death”/Vander(Warwick dying again) - Again everything is subjective. Maybe it was just emotionally draining last episode or idk, but I found the writers plan for the sisters sad. They've mentioned many times in public “The last scene between the sisters has been their guiding light for all the dark moments.” I get if everything isn't rosey good at the end, and maybe people wouldn't like that, but mean really? Jinx and Vi have been through so much trauma, I really thought they deserved a better & happier ending for each other.
    Positives
    - All of episode 7 & Ekko - I mean what is there to say? It's pretty self explanatory. Ekko is the MVP and for me personally, holds something special in my heart. I've shared this only a few places as of Arcane season 2, episode 6. But I originally only got into league because I had a little sister who saw a trailer for a kid who could control time. He was a genius, cool attire and attitude, and in her words “Looked like a real G” that character was Ekko and he was released in 2015 (league released in 2010 and each season is one year, so right now on season 14) She had no friends that cared to play it so i decided to try it out so she would have someone to play with. She passed away from suicide in 2019 and I havent touched league since then. (Never shared that anywhere else except maybe a few other reaction channels. I've watched an unhealthy amount of arcane with reactors, but only a few ive posted that) As sad as episode 6 was, it helped heal me and feel connected to my sister again and I knew “The Boy Who Shattered Time” was on his way.
    - Caitlyn and Vi moment - The biggest criticism I've seen is why would Vi have sex in jail where her sister just was? But I think people are underestimating the words Caitlyn says to Vi. Caitlyn is still Piltover lead general or leader, in typical fashion, if it was found out she committed treason and let a fugitive go, she could be executed (excluding all the other crap going on and if it was investigated how Jinx escaped. Also low key, if nobody noticed, Caitlyn gave Jinx the hex gemstone) but like she said, she knew Vi's love for her sister would be predictable and go try to save her. Not knowing if they leave town, stay, whatever happens. And while some say, why wouldn't Vi focus on trying to find her sister, she doesn't know where Jinx went and was told to pursue her love. Also I think they know Ambessa is on the way and might be the last time they are ever together. Vi chooses to love Caitlyn and it's a passion of love. Maybe i'm ignorant or some weirdo lol, but I think they both deserved the moment together
    - Maddie reveal(or switch and bait) - as much as I want to hate it and put it in my negatives. One because I defended Maddie in some of my comments. I'd like to argue I think they still hold true, for what we were presented at the time. I think one criticism I've seen is just that they didn't leave any hints WHETHER she was a spy from the beginning or just switched once Vi came back in the picture. And some say lazy writing to get her out of the way for Vi. Some also say they saw it a mile away so I guess I'm gullible lol. But it was shocking. Some hints people say is she was the first one to chest pound to Ambessa and some swear you can see a Noxian uniform underneath her Piltover outfit but I couldn't tell. I think she switched after Vi entered the picture and she heard Vi and Caitlyn talking.
    Final conclusion
I don't think Arcane is a total masterpiece. Literally the last act or just possibly last two episodes ruin it for me, but it's right up there as one of the best shows ever made in my honest humble opinion, animated or non-animated. I'm actually not a huge animal fan at all and never cared for Avatar or other ones, so I may be ignorant, but I've heard many people say just Arcane season 1 is goated and possibly dethrone some of the best out there in one season, 9 episodes of 40 minutes each. Coming into Arcane as a fan of the IP, I had hesitation, but the creators delivered. Arcane season 1 is goated. Arcane Season 2 up to Act 2 is goated, only the ending lowers it for me. For what we are given though, I can say it was a bold take to end it how they did. I'd like to imagine one day Jinx and Vi reconnect as she meets her niece and nephew that her sister has with Caityln, named Isha and Vander and years of healing of Piltover & Zaun and making a better city. I could go on but I'll leave those as my main notes.
    - P.s. in-case people don't know, Yordles are technically spirts in league of legends lore. They actually can't die, they just return to Bandle City, so technically Heimdeinger didn't die UNLESS they are retconning their own unverified rules since Arcane is cannon.

I guess my endnote would be Arcane overall is a masterpiece with a messy ending.
I found Act 1 predictable, only because if you watched their season 1 trailer, they BARELY revealed anything aftet act 1. While I knew Warwick is Vander, they still pulled off Act 2 masterfully. Just Act 3 was a little subpar for me excluding Ekko.
It is a beautiful show and while I personally haven't played league since 2019, I've kept up on the game and lore. I was more excited for season 2 than I was for Endgame...crazy to believe the series is over but I'm glad the writers went out on their own terms. It was an amazing time to be league fan with worlds this past year and new people learning about league. They've already greenlit other shows and most logical sense would be Noxus next. I've never been a big anime fan, I'm hoping to get into the genre more now, but it will be hard to find ANYTHING that tops this show for me. And from an entertainment standpoint, from video games, tv, movies; whether going on a journey with Joel and Ellie, Kratos learning to become human, Inception, and 50+ experiences, I don't think anything has emotionally affected me as much as Arcane has.
The art style, the sound effects, nuanced characters, voice actors, musical score, all of it, going to miss our Jinx, Vi, 🧁, Ekko, Isha, Vander, etc.
I have hope and faith, whether in my mind, that Vi and Jinx will have their happy reunion and possibly make an appearance in another League series.
Arcane deserves a full theatrical release
    beautiful show.

I wouldn’t say that it was a messy ending, perhaps open-ended ending would be the right word. Also they could only 2 seasons likely cause of constraints like budget etc. since they’re also looking to explore other areas of Runeterra. I honestly can’t wait for Noxus and maybe explore Swain’s rise to power (3 eyed crow collected the arcane rune in the ending is likely Raum), Le Blanc and the black rose, and of course Mel.

@@grs4307 According to the internet, all knowing and correct internet lol, Riot Games generated almost $5 billion in annual revenue in the year of 2024. 250 million ain't cheap, I get it and easily more than what the business wanted to spend on for a show. But as they mentioned in their documentary, they don't want to create crap or non-excellence. In my personal and humble opinion, it is a messy ending that doesn't land. Now we can disagree on, if you liked the ending or didn't all that, luckily entertainment is subjective. But I just wish they had more time to flesh out what they wanted to do and I believe Riot Games didn't give them enough runway to do that.

@@grs4307 According to good old internet, which is always a reliable source lol. In the year of 2024 so far, Riot Games has generated 2.5 billion dollars. While I don't blame the business for not wanting to sink more money into the show, they mentioned in their documentary they don't want to half a** anything, and if it's not good, they won't launch it(not just the show, just general mindset) Now luckily entertainment is subjective, so I am not saying to say your words of it "not being a messy ending" is wrong, if you liked it and thought they did well, I am glad you enjoyed it. I do applaud them for what choice they make, I only WISH they gave them more time to flesh it out, as for me, I felt it disappointing and unsatisfied, mostly just because I think they focused on expanding too quickly in literally 2 episodes, instead of focusing on the characters and intimate, complex and nuanced characters/relationships.

I don't have time right now to write all my thoughts, but just wanted to say first and loved the reaction!
Vi finally got to see Caitlyn's 🧁 🧁 AFTER her sister and Maddie
She also let her know the under city would eat her alive
So Vi is a power bottom & Cait sub top? lol
It's heavily implied Jinx lived and decided to "Break the Cycle" by leaving since Vi would never give up on her. 1)If you slow down time, you can see a purple shimmer pattern before the bomb explodes 2)They show Caitlyn smirk as she is inspecting the ventilation schematics and that one lead out of the tower as you saw 3)They show a blimp flying away, just like in the opening when Powder says "I'm going to ride in one of those one day" and her signature scratches on the camera before the camera cuts away.
I'd like to imagine Jinx and Vi meet up one day again and she meets her niece and nephew, named after Vander and Isha and seen a new Piltover and Zaun after years of healing and working towards a better city.
p.s. another recommendation, again I know you are brand new and only second video. You should introduce yourselves at the beginning. Just helps viewers get to know you and relate to you in some way. You don't need a whole intro with video edits and etc, but just a nice introduction to add character to yourselves and channel. I assume over time you will get better and don't know your video editing background history, but again love your reaction. And just a tad bit longer thoughts at the end, just overall thoughts on series, season, etc. but I do look forward to whatever comes next. We don't mention anything, if anything it makes her as a character, person and just a silly plot device that was used for the story? I mean she is, but it's just sad they glaze right over her huge sacrifice. I have said this show is the epitome of "show, don't tell" but sometimes dialogue is needed on some occasions
