What an incredible figure. He speaks fluent english and chinese. I can't imagine how hard he trained to be able to perform the feats of acrobatics and kung fu he is capable of. Reminds me of the show Fame, the students paid in sweat equity. You get the feeling he loves his work, as shown in movies and is extremely adept at his art.

Hong Kong stuntmen are just like Filipino stuntmen , back in the day they need to do an extremely insane stunts (without cables & lines) most popular stuntmen filipinos are "SOS Daredevils" & "Thunder Stuntmen".

for all intents and purposes they pretty much grew up together in Peiking Opera. Just like family members that adopt each others speech inflections, saying, etc, it makes sense for Jackie and Sammo to "sound familiar".

Hong Kong stunt men are so badass. In America, we would never allow the use of 15-year-olds to do death defying stunts.

Sammo Hung's master; master Yu Zan Yuan was a more successful mentor than Yip Man.
Yip produced Bruce lee. But Yu produced Sammo Hung, Yuen Wah, Yuen Woo Ping, Jackie Chan, Corey Yuen, Yuen Biao and so on.
Majority of present day well known action choreographer was disciples or related to Master Yu.
