Happy new year! This is one of the first tunes I learned, so it came back to my fingers pretty quickly. When you got up to tempo, though, I put down the flute and picked up my Generation. Im still working through grip issues on the flute. Thanks so much!
I remember this tune as a 'dependable' and 'solid favorite' at our sessiuns back in the early 2000's here in the Twin Cities. It's nice to know that it is still a favorite and probably will be in the coming years. There is something quite reassuring about traditional tunes and I'm glad to hear this one again.

@@ShannonHeatonMusic Yes. It is cool to learn 'trendy' tunes. But the tunes like Blackthorn Stick, remind us of the tradition and why we are here.
