And you couldn’t have the Ep’s final message about how different peoples have to come together if you didn’t have despicable acts being perpetrated by ALL peoples in the episode.
Michael Silve Oh. Well, he was also a Brahmin Noble and 10th in line to the Maharaja’s throne. For him to portray an Untouchable was very cosmopolitan of him.
@@dreamlandnightmare yes!!! When i was younger, anything without eyes scared me. It wasnt until it went on the guys actual face that freaked me out hahahaha!!
Badlaa was great. It was freaky and out there but perfect for an xfiles. Of course it would be considered non PC for them, but why not have a foreigner be the villian? I find it interesting that they believe that forgien people are incapable of deviate behavior. Those reboot episodes shouldn't count with the original.
The dolly he squeaks around on is the cherry for me. Remember that other X-Files episode where there's an old lady with no limbs under a bed tied to a moving dolly. Freaky for sure. Especially when she screams when found. An inbred freak family commits infanticide at the beginning. Dark stuff. Compelling story lines. I'm considering a 3rd watch through of the series.
THANK YOU!! I'm 24 and Badlaa had literally haunted me for YEARS. Ever since I was in the beginning of elementary school. All I remembered was the squeaking of the cart and the scene where the mom saw her son in the pool and it was actually him. It always popped into my thoughts since I saw that episode and I didn't know whether to be scared or indifferent. I just never knew where I saw that episode
The little guy is also supposed to be amongst the wisest and kindest sort of shamen in the world, so what kind of horrible loss would it take to drive one to use his gifts to seek ruthless vengeance, even to (try to) kill the innocent children of his enemies?
I'm surprised "The Field Where I Died" wasn't even an honorable mention. That was by far the worst, most pretentiously boring episode of the X-Files I've ever seen. It's every bad X-Files trope played totally straight.

I love Brad, and Rob's great, but it was Doug's show. These aren't long enough to warrant 3 hosts, and it was nice to just get Walter's opinion on things. It felt more personal, and less like people fighting for lines/screen time with kinda forced "story lines". People usually don't speak Spanish because, if they did, they'd realize the very worst episode is the chupacabras one. The writer knew nothing about the story of El Chupacabras, which is mostly a recent funny meme and not some monster of folklore which people fear. He also got the names of the characters wrong (Gabriel is exclusively a male name, the surname Buente doesn't exist, it's Puente, etc.), out of the four supposed Mexican main actors two couldn't actually speak Spanish, illegals don't call the Police "La Migra" because they understand the fucking difference between cops and the INS, and other inconsistencies drawn out of ignorance turned this episode into garbage.
I agree. Also S4E11 has one of the worse endings. It makes no damn sense. Yes there's some creepy imagery throughout, but does not make up for the episode having pacing & logic problems. The last minutes are as bad as reading a poorly written creepy pasta. Did the writers give up? Did the producers decide to use mask props from the old Outer Limits show? Just pathetic.
The space ghost episode was even worse because it was all inspired by a rock that one of the early Mars rovers came across that if you squinted seemed to resemble the basic shape of a human face.
Wasn't a rover. It was a flyby & the "Face on Mars" is a hill that vaguely looks like a face from orbit. Nevertheless, it birthed the stupidest conspiracy theory since the "Paul's Dead" rumor.
"Fight Club" to me, represented just about everything that went wrong with the show after season 5. Rather than capitalise on the tension and momentum that erupted into the skies at the end of the "Fight the Future" film, season 6 bizarelly smothered us with too many comedic themed episodes and dumbed down dialogues that utterly derailed all that had happened in the earlier seasons and had none of the surreal charm of classics like "Humbug" and "Clyde Bruckmans.." Season 6 was decent in many ways and had some classics, but overall I remember being disappointed overall. Anyhoo- season 7 could have amended this, since twas rumored to be the last season at the time. But in the seasons final half, there is even more pissing about with lame, unfunny, and below par humour and stupid self references. The cast are on cruise control and Mulder and Scully look and sound board and complacent, when the show should have been racing and pulsating with drama and emotion, like say, season 4's final few episodes. Everything about "Fight Club" still makes me sick. It epitomizes everything that the show should not have been doing. Its not funny, its not clever. Its lame, stupid and cheap. Its everything that the show tried and succeeded so well in avoiding being in the earlier years. I get that people dont like "Space" "3" or "Teso dos Bechos"- but they are James Cameron directed masterpieces compared to the utterly depressing drivel of "Fight Club", and season 7's other worst offenders. Good call too, on "Babylon". Again, more parody and attempting to be cool and witty that horribly backfired.
And here comes My top 5 Worst Episodes of my Favorite Show The X Files Number 05: Roland Number 04: Invocation Number 03: Born Again Number 02: Little Green Men Number 01: Drive

Teso Dos Bichos is saved IMO as worst by the good music used thanks to Mark Snow mainly on that. Which means my worst is Fight Club. A monstrocity. I like the lady on the left's t-shirt.

"Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster" - Its an interesting idea for a story but the comedy was way too heavy-handed and self-referential to the show for my taste. "Never Again" - A talking tattoo, one of the worst scores Mark Snow composed for an episode, Jodie Foster being hired to simply voice a tattoo is a waste of her talent, and Rodney Rowland's acting are all the elements of this episode I dislike.
The Field Where I died has been completely left out. Number one worst episode ( sorry Chris Carter) it dragged and dragged and was overly dramatic, with a nonsensical past lives plot line.
