IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Dogs and humans have different perceptions of pain. The pain tolerance of dogs is much stronger than that of humans. The shock on the bare human skin may be painful to humans, but dogs may not be able to feel it. Don't really recommend trying on human, but if you do want to, pls, start from a small level, not a random level, slowly increasing the intensity setting.
Every dog perceives the stimulation from ecollar slightly differently. To use the collar in early training, you need to identify an intensity setting that is high enough that your dog notices it but is not too high that he/she shows any panic or distress. When they first feel the ecollar , some dogs stop and look up; others may turn to look over their shoulder or shake their head; some sit and scratch the collar, when you see that your dog has some reactions, stop increasing the intensity setting. Make sure the intensity level your dog will respond to.
