Pro tip. Put the dilution markings on the stickers along with your logo. This way no more expensive marked bottles needed. Just sleek n slik bottles. OG style
The iK’s still have plenty of room for improvement. The mold itself will most likely outlast a Twinkie. Hoping this video shows the team how much interest there is in a new trigger design!
You are so freaking awesome, Matt... Your attention/obsession with the most minute detail, with the following that OG has, is what makes manufacturers, MAKE BETTER PRODUCTS!!
Ordered three sprayers and got them a couple weeks ago. Absolutely love them. Matt ain't joking when he says the atomization is super good. I find myself not wasting product and one thing I noticed as he mentioned, the ergonomics are so much better than other bottles. I find my hands not getting fatigued after a detail. I plan to order more soon :)
Think they would work for Adams wheel cleaner? I’m still using the stock bottle it came in, and my hands burn after a wheel or two. I’ve been waiting for these to come back in stock to try them.
@@tannerkrieg6984 I'm quite sure the industrial Pressols would be good for it. I actually only use the Pressols for: Invisible Glass,P&S Interior Cleaner, Meguiars Leather Cleaner, and P&S Bead Maker. I use a foam spray bottle for wheel/tire cleaner that I found on Amazon since I want foam cleaning as I have BMW Brembos and those produce stupid brake dust. I can say first hand, you wont be disappointed if you invest in the Pressol bottles. People in the comments recommending all sorts of bottles but there is a clear and obvious difference between a $2-$8 sprayer, and a $13-$18 Pressol bottle. You're definitely getting what you pay for.
Completely agree with your feedback on the IK Multi spray head. It Really is rather uncomfortable To hold if it’s anything more than halfway full and even then it’s uncomfortable. The bottle is beautiful and I love the dilution ratios on the side of it! I reached out to them about the possibility of them releasing a sprayer tip or sprayhead that could be used with solvents like CarPro Inside. For those not aware CarPro Inside is actually supposed to come out as almost a frothy or foamy texture one sprayed onto a surface, if you spray your solvent unto a surface, that is. According to the rep, the IK Multi TR1 will not produce the intended effect, therefore not recommended for use in the TR1. One would assume this essentially applies to any solvent that requires being applied in this way.
Just purchased a bunch of Pressol sprayer heads to use with Carpro Dilute bottles. Hope it works out because I hate the feeling of cheap sprayers that fall apart.
@@Enthusiast_detailing They did, however, at first the tend to leak at first due to the top of the bottle not making a great deal with the sprayer head. After a week it seemed to resolve itself as the bottle made a slight impression in the top of the sprayer. I’m happy with them. They make a world of difference.
Ordered 4 of version 1.2 I’ve loved them so much! For a product that isn’t “perfect” yet it’s one of the best spray bottles I’ve tried. I work in restaurants so I’ve used so many mass produced spray bottles both chemical resistant and not, but they don’t come close to pressol.
I bought one of the black bottles for my OG tire dressing. Does it seem like a money saving idea probably not but totally worth being an Obsessed Garage idea to all your product in the same bottle
I think if we can get the most ergonomic bottle (garden, black, red) in white/translucent plastic (like on the standard bottle) with the silver or black industrial sprayer, it will be a wining combo, and Yes I am part of the beta test group. Keep up the good the work Matt.
I do love the kwazar mercury bottles even though they are a bit pricey and not the most durable. If you drop them or hang it by the trigger it will break the trigger apart which you can easily put back together but a little ball inside gets lost then the bottles trash. The kwazar 1.5 liter pressurized pump bottle is one of the best manual pump bottles I’ve found. Haven’t had a single issue in 2 years of use . Ik is my go to daily bottle right now though. As a window tint and ppf installer I’ve tried damn near every bottle and trigger and with every day heavy use they all take a crap after a while, some last longer than others
Hi Matt, I ordered 5 replacement v1.3 heads to replace the leaking 1.2 pump heads. They work perfectly! So impressed that I ordered 5 morencomplete bottles.
Just in case anyone else is having this issue - my bottles both had major pressure issue with air leaking through the sprayer and not able to produce mist at all. I just wrapped a few layers of Teflon tape around the end of the hose on the inside where it meets the inlet of the sprayer head and it works perfectly now. Just about 3-4 wraps and then jam it back into the inlet. I was getting maybe about 1-2 good pumps before it was unbearably airy and worse than just a normal sprayer from the dollar store. Would suggest giving this a shot if you are experiencing the same issue.
I got my Pressol bottles the other day and I am VERY pleased with them. I have Kwazar, IK, and a few other brands, mostly Kwazar. I really like these Pressol bottles! Very stout, heavy duty built, and a good sprayer on top. I got a few different kinds, colors, and sizes. I like the straight up and down transparent version the best. At least for me. Thanks Matt for going through all the work to get these bottles here. When your stock was out, I tried to get these directly from Germany and it was just too cost prohibitive. Your cost is very fair on the Pressol's. I have an IK bottle too but I am not happy with the spray head on that one. The bottle itself is great. IK just need's to get a heavy duty sprayer head on top, make it a little smaller, and then they would have a real winner on hand. I have no problem being a "tester" for these Pressol's for the price I paid. If it lasted six months with a decent amount of use, that's fine with me. Hopefully it will last quite a bit longer than that. I don't use them real heavy so they should work fine for quite some time. For those reading, take my advice, GET SOME OF THE PRESSOL BOTTLES! You won't be disappointed.
I love where you are going with this Matt with the label ideas, etc. Everything you say here makes sense. One other "optional" item that may be great in the future is some sort of wall mounted RACK either with holes or without (like a shelf) that would fit the bottles. That way they could be lined up. Similar to the other companies that offer the wall mounted racks for their bottles. Or a combination shelf that has the small spray bottle in the hole and then the Gallon sized bottle right next to it on the same rack or shelf. THAT would be amazing and look freakin' incredible and organized. You could do a rack with just the holes (for detailers who only want the small bottles all lined up together), and then a different rack that had the option for the Small bottle of product and then the Gallon sized bottle sitting right next to it. Maybe six or eight of the Gallons/Bottles combo rack or maybe even different sizes. One with 4, one with 6, 8, etc. Just an idea to think about if you hadn't already. I love the wall mounted rack system. I also took one of the hole style wall racks and mounted it to the side of my rolling cart and then took a really nice rack to hold all my brushes and mounted it on the other side. Works great and I love the organization. Some people will just want all their stuff lined up on a shelf. It's a personal preference I guess but it would be nice to have that option down the road once all the bottles are refined and finalized. Get a great company to design and manufacture the racks/shelves for you. You could even have them in the OG blue or have the OG "octagon" symbol "lazer" cut into the racks somehow or "Obsessed Garage" cut into the metal. Or even allow customization of wording for an extra fee. Now that would be awesome. Another idea is to have a small label window on the front of the rack directly in front of the bottles so you could mark what product is in that particular position. That would be cool. You could make it a size that someone could print out cards on their printer and slip the card into that slot in front of the bottle which labels what that product is. Those racks could be some of the best racks in the world and exclusive to Obsessed Garage. Could be a really great thing.
One advantage of a smaller-diameter hose is that, in the event that you do angle it too much and pump air, it's quicker to refill the hose with product once you correct your positioning. I would be really interested to know what you don't really like about pump sprayers. Is it having to stop in the middle of work to pump it?
Just did my first wash using 500mL translucent bottles, and it was great! The pull mechanism/feel is really awesome, and the spray head feels solid in your hand. Thanks!
The DETAIL of the specification Matt puts out is just amazing. If I could find a way to work with this guy doing whatever for the detailing industry, regardless of not giving a shit for detailing, that'd be amazing. This dude is a god. "This, this to me, on a shelf... I mean is there anything better looking than that? I mean that is freakin' fantastic. I don't care who you are, that's a freakin' fantastic setup." We're talking about spray bottles here. And like Matt, I want the best shit for the application. The passion is real in the products he vets. I love that shit. Most would say, "Calm down buddy, they're just spray bottles."... But then again, most don't value good shit. Most don't have $19,000 in Snap-on tools just sitting around collecting dust till they're used every couple years. The passion to have the best tools, for the application... It's what we all strive for, or should aspire to have. Matt, thank you, so much, for what you do. I aspire to be on your level one day.
I agree with the bottle issue. I have the same problem and I want the cabinets to have my bottles all the same look. You can make them and sell them 🤔I ordered some from Germany and they cost more to ship them then they were worth. I will be watching to see how you make out. I will see what I find as well.✊
Hey Matt, a thought just crossed my mind. Rather than having to give up hope of using the industrial spray bottle due to the lack of labels, could pressol maybe just manufacture the bottles with your logo and product names embossed in the plastic itself?
Wondering if you have a OG approved heat gun? Been looking for a heat gun designed for window tinters since we use heat guns all day every day. I used to like millwakee they last 6 to 8 months. Snap on lasted about the same but cost more. I now use the cheap Wagner guns and just get a new one every couple months but I’d like a good lasting heat gun with good ergonomics that gets hit quickly
For the self sealing bottles (i.e. shampoo bottles) what about using a cap like they have on camelbak water bottles. Not sure how well they would work, but might be worth trying it out. It would certainly beat the pop-up heads on the Adams style bottles.
Loving the industrial v1.2 bottle so far Matt! Finding a solid bottle & sprayer has been driving me nuts for over 20 years since I started detailing. Really hoping the chemical resistance holds up over time with wheel cleaners (Diablo wheel gel, P21S, etc). Hoping to see a next version of the bottle with a thin clear vertical dilution window, that would be perfection!
What is amazing is I would never have thought I would sit for 30 minutes and listen to a guy talk about bottles ha. However, I do every night and as I walked out of my garage tonight from cleaning up, I looked back at all the bottles all different products and thought this looks junky, cant stand it, Walk in and its the uniform bottle video. I have bought several of the bottles and have some issues but have worked find as we join the quest. I do like the IK look but the white bottles are hard to beat right now. Thanks for the fight
Just wanted to let you know that I received my QD funnel and it’s friggen awesome. Looking forward to the next video. Thank you very much and have a safe flight to ATL!
Like your ultimate vision with the labeled uniform bottles, buying them filled with product from the store. 👍 Will you do other bottles than spray too? Some products are off course not sprayable. Eg leather milk. I use the Mercury Super Pro+ bottles which have a weighted filter for 360 degree use, and measurements on the bottle. However I find that some of the chemicals seem to deteriorate / clog the filter when keeping it in there for too long (I.e. several months). Ever have that with yours?
I notice that many of the higher end bottle sprayers degrade over time. They don't spray well and they don't atomize very well after the products have been inside them for some time. I rather use the factory Adam's or P&S sprayers because they are dirt cheap and they DO NOT degrade over time! I have the double action trigger bottles that I bought for a fortune and they have degraded significantly. But the stock Adam's bottle sprayers are still working fine after 10 years even with harsh chemical inside them!!!!!
It's unfortunate that these bottles don't seem to really work in detailing bags. I have no garage and keep everything in a detailing bag. Skinny bottles without graduated thickness would be appreciated.
Who would’ve thought I’d sit here and watch a 30 minute video of another man talking about spray bottles. I love my 1.2 pressol even though it leaks and doesn’t atomize hardly at all. I’ll probably buy a new sprayer if you’ve got them listed separately. I do really like the small translucent pressol the best. Does pressol have a single action sprayer?
Ik I’m a little late on commenting, but you should try and design some sort of Adams style cap where it has a dispenser. Because I would love to have all my bottles be these including my soap bottles, so my car shampoo and foaming soap can go into these with the same easy pouring as Adams. Also would love if you did branded labels of course like bead maker and such, but also blank labels with obsessed garage Branding that I can write in with sharply what’s in it. Also bout to pick up 5-10 of these bottoms just trying to pick which is right for me. Love the content
Make the 'round' bottles square on the bottom and about 1 inch high so they are stable and you can sit them side by side on the shelf and not have the 'circle gap' between.
I have one of the yellow ones. I do like it. It does kinda squeak and feels like it hangs up ever so slightly. I have only run break buster through it. I have the pump foamer and pump sprayer from Marolex as well and love them both.
Bought 3 of the funk necks a few weeks ago and I'm pleased with them. Hopefully the products I use don't eat holes in the bottle -- if so I don't mind paying the $20/bottle that I had to fork over to get them out to Hawaii. Where can I get some OG labels tho?
Hey Mat, once again I just am in awe of your Attention to the details!! One question, do you foresee a plan/need for different tip options - specifically a foaming tip? I know Tolco and Kwazar offer either a sprayer head or tip and I have used Tolco’s and enjoyed using it for Brake Buster and various APCs. Also, have you considered developing a UAT program as part of a customers account to allow them to purchase any of your products in dev. at reduced cost or allow for exchange to the updated version(s) ?
I don’t think the squeezable bottles are a plus anyway. Once they collapse from use, then they look like crap. IE Home Depot bottles. Only good thing about HD is they have that large opening.
Matt, just ordered a few of the 500mL translucent bottles - love them! Is the industrial sprayer compatible with the translucent bottles? I’m thinking of purchasing more and buying these sprayers so I can use these bottles with IronX and TarX etc.
I have to day that the Home Depot spray bottles last a descent amount of time for $ 2 bucks. I've had some of them filled with chemicals for 10 years now and they still work fine. OK- sure they look like crap - but they work well and are cheap.
As the most famous Hyundai Elantra owner on UA-cam, I agree with Matt and the pressol ergonomics and bottle design of the IK’s. My hands are destroyed from using poor quality trigger sprayers over daily use in the last 25 years of detailing. I have been waiting for this!!!
Hi Matt - I'm sure others have asked this before, but do the Pressol sprayer heads use a standard thread for screwing on to bottles? Or are they only compatible with the Pressol bottles?
Right... I have a direct API to my heavily discounted ground shipping UPS account. This is what they charge. Going through customs is the major cost increase. This is why I'm opening up a facility to ship in Toronto so I can import the bottles direct from Germany. Then it will be 10 or $15 to ship.
It seems like a lot of hassle to be working on product based in Europe. Were there no good US based companies willing to develop a product with you? Maybe you can knock on Milwaukee's door now that you have a relationship with them and see if they can do a smaller version of their sprayer. Maybe a 12v version. End user buys the motorized sprayer and you sell containers full of the product thar work with the sprayer.
"Get it! just do what I tell you" lol. Matty can sell water to fish and all he has to do is say is " Im Frikin telling you to buy it...Its the best" fish. - " uhh. ok. I'll buy it." youre just sick of cheap crap and doing something about it. for that I'm grateful. Thanks Matt..ps. please make O.G shirts with your best quotes. "Don't buy Junk". "Do what I frikkin tell you"
I have ik, krazar, the one that starts with an m can't think of it atm. I will purchase a few in the next month or so. I like the style they look oddly familiar to me? I feel like ive seen these somewhere. Anyway, im all about new and helping good people. The fact u have replacement parts is amazing. Sadly the krazar bottles here are q5 bucks in Poland there 3 bucks ya know lol. Its also near impossible to find replacement parts for many other brands and u are doing it right as far as im concerned. U will have the scumbags that find a bottle that ur sprayer works with and they will save money by putting ur sprayer on a cheapo bottle, dont let that diter u for doing this man. This plan is sick. I know an excellent german speaking woman, sexy too. Dont ever use another persons interpreter. Its like buying a house and using the sellers recommended inspection guy, never do it.
Make a nice rack for ur bottles, do a 99 dollar, like 4 bottle with a rack, (the rack obv be cheap plastic, u litterally need 1 pole fixed to a wall at the correct angle and distsnce from the wall and just chuck these on it). I think itd be cool if u thought about, bags for detailers, theres about 2 diff bags on the market n they all suck. They all barely hold a da and dont hold it particularly safely. Also none of tbem have decent storage for pads. They are all junk. Im happy ur obsessing about things that i care about.
Pro tip. Put the dilution markings on the stickers along with your logo. This way no more expensive marked bottles needed. Just sleek n slik bottles. OG style

I came here to say the same thing lmao
he's off to GA. seeing a bit of a cold front.
Put a man on Mars: no problem
Making decent spray bottle: thats not possible
We want a sprayer than can work in the vacuum of space! Fick nicht mit unseren Sprühgeräten

Hi Matt, did you already look for Epoca bottles/sprayers they are from Italy. They are one of the bottles brands we offer to our clients.
I haven't seen those.
wide mouth would not only be good for easier refill. But also help for ergonomics I'm sure.
When are you gunna make a video of the labels for the bottles , thanks

I've got the Meguairs detailer line bottles and the grey chemical resistant sprayers drive me nuts
do you guys sell or know of a wall mount bottle holder that will fit large industrial pressol bottles?
If we order today, do we get v1.3 bottles? is there a more current version? or current update? Thanks!
Had to cut away to order a bunch of 1.3 bottles before I even finished watching the video.
Will they ever make the Pressol Bottle with the Dilution Ratio marks on the bottle???
Nothing worse than a crappy sprayer getting glass cleaner all over your freshly detailed paint. This video has opened my eyes.
Did you ever try the marolex spray heads?
Yes! The new bottles. 😊
I'd rather have a great experience and get 6 months out of it than a crappy one for 10 years.
OG Spec jeans - coming soon
I heard the spray heads for the ik bottles are outsourced atm. will ik really develop new ones? I have 5 of these bottles and love em.
They are Canyon sprayers.
I like that clear bottle, willing to take a chance on one. Would the spray head hold up with Bead Maker sprayed through it? Thx
Any thoughts on foaming tips? I know kwazar makes them tho i haven't tried
Make the 'round' bottles square on the bottom and about 1 inch high so they are stable and you can sit them side by side on the shelf and not have the 'circle gap' between.
OMG this x1,000,000 I would love that but no fuckin way it will happen
If those bottles are bothering you so much , I'll take em !
Wow this is weird. I was just adding ik multi and foam to my Amazon cart.
I find the marolex sprayers also work wonderful. Has anyone else tested them. Atomizing is wonderful
I have one of the yellow ones. I do like it. It does kinda squeak and feels like it hangs up ever so slightly. I have only run break buster through it. I have the pump foamer and pump sprayer from Marolex as well and love them both.
Ordered up 6 of these, so far they are great.
Bought 3 of the funk necks a few weeks ago and I'm pleased with them. Hopefully the products I use don't eat holes in the bottle -- if so I don't mind paying the $20/bottle that I had to fork over to get them out to Hawaii. Where can I get some OG labels tho?
We should have the labels soon.
I like my 750ml (this size is out of production) Monello bottles the best. Completely translucent and with dilution ratio's.
Running to your store NOW i been waiting for these bottles and Matt u look cute in your jeans ...lol
I’m thinking of purchasing more and buying these sprayers so I can use these bottles with IronX and TarX etc.
are these bottles gonna on sale for black friday and or cyber monday?
already got my IK's from Rag Company a while back
hey Matt, eta on next shipment of black 750ml...?
Next month... Waiting on finalizing metal tips.
@@ObsessedGarage perfect! thank you
Just need industrial sprayer but in the clear trapezoid bottle in 1000ml. Or at least make the tilted industrial bottle in clear
Any word on garden sprayer labels?
Looks great! When will the labels be available?
Looking good in jeans Matty! 👖
I have to day that the Home Depot spray bottles last a descent amount of time for $ 2 bucks. I've had some of them filled with chemicals for 10 years now and they still work fine. OK- sure they look like crap - but they work well and are cheap.
I know I take bottles a little too seriously, but that is like saying you have a Hyundai Elantra and you are okay with it.
I'm not quite sure what the pitch is. I think are pretty standard though.
I like the ik sprayers but they are freaking huge...I like smaller bottles for some reason...hopefully they come out with a smaller size
I do like the pressol bottles better still
My dream bottle would be a 1000ml translucent household bottle
I agree 100 percent on all the different bottles, I fkn hate the non uniformity of the bottles.
Would those double action spray heads fit on the IK?
Sort of. See video at 19:50
“.. random bottles...” , haha I get that. Yuck
I would love to try these sprayers, but the shipping rate is just absurd for Canada... (100$ of bottles = 77$ for shipping) ... :S
What do you think shipping something across a boarder costs? It’s not free.
@@ObsessedGarage It's a 1.5 pounds ground carried package dude
Right... I have a direct API to my heavily discounted ground shipping UPS account. This is what they charge. Going through customs is the major cost increase. This is why I'm opening up a facility to ship in Toronto so I can import the bottles direct from Germany. Then it will be 10 or $15 to ship.
@@ObsessedGarage Are you serious? If you are not kidding, this is amazing news and I will certainly be shopping from your store at this time
Cart isn't working on your website :(
Seems to be working. I just tested it.
@@ObsessedGarage yep, just tested now and it is working again! (it was breaking on checkout and view cart).
How about the carpro sprayers
It seems like a lot of hassle to be working on product based in Europe. Were there no good US based companies willing to develop a product with you? Maybe you can knock on Milwaukee's door now that you have a relationship with them and see if they can do a smaller version of their sprayer. Maybe a 12v version. End user buys the motorized sprayer and you sell containers full of the product thar work with the sprayer.
So I spy with my eye a different kind of kranzle pressure washer behind you... any info you can sneak out?
It’s the new style 1622TS: www.kranzleusa.com/k1622-ts-1600-psi-1-7-gpm
they need a plastic sprayer but chargeable by air compressor
"Get it! just do what I tell you" lol. Matty can sell water to fish and all he has to do is say is " Im Frikin telling you to buy it...Its the best" fish. - " uhh. ok. I'll buy it."
youre just sick of cheap crap and doing something about it. for that I'm grateful.
Easter Egg in the background?!?! New Kranzle?
Make a nice rack for ur bottles, do a 99 dollar, like 4 bottle with a rack, (the rack obv be cheap plastic, u litterally need 1 pole fixed to a wall at the correct angle and distsnce from the wall and just chuck these on it).
I think itd be cool if u thought about, bags for detailers, theres about 2 diff bags on the market n they all suck. They all barely hold a da and dont hold it particularly safely.
Also none of tbem have decent storage for pads. They are all junk. Im happy ur obsessing about things that i care about.
