Omg i rode that exact same one today at the same six flags. It was so fun. It was my first roller coaster, and as soon as it started moving i said, im sorry i cant do this i realllyyy wanna get off right now im so scared. By the end of it i was like THAT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!! it was epic! Worth the 45 minute wait
Me and my friend went there for the season pass holder appreciation day in November and we had our phones out on this ride to get a pic. of us at the top. The guy who was checking the seats was all like "You're not supposed to have phones out on this ride, but it's the last day we are open in 2011 so go on ahead." Then he sent us lol.
I rode this in six grade with some friends, and tbh the scariest part was that the carts got backed up, so one would start going up the first hill and would have to stop. For us, it stopped when we were completely vertical, and let me tell you how scary that shit is
Having been on this one, it's intense and amazingly quiet other than the racket the lift makes. It makes me wonder it they filled the track with sand like on some B&M's. The whole tower shakes when it goes down which is terrifying if you happen to catch it.
i loved it. the going up and going down is actually kinda the worst, but after it, you feel like it was the most amazing thing in the world. the rest of is great.
I live close by in Macon, Ga and I can't wait to check this ride out soon at Six Flags Over Georgia. Thanks ThemeParkReview for this great POV of this ride... :)
wow! I am more impressed with the video than the actual ride! whoever created this video is extremely talented and needs to have this as a full time job for the best of the best! Amazing video.... and the ride is cool as well, its on the list next time I am there!
I think its the sound of the anti-roll back bar vibrating and hitting the underneath of the train, you can hear it because the camera and sound recorder it placed at the front of the train and you couldn't hear it from where the rider sits.
This ride is awesome the drop looks scary but it's not because it goes so fast that you can't even feel it. It only last a few seconds. Whenever you go to six flags over ga ride this ride!!!!! It is one of my favorites.
This is almost the same layout as Anubis from "Plopsaland de Panne" in Belgium. Here is a vertical lift and in Anubis there is a launch and sometimes it is a bit different but the rides are almost the same. And every ride that looks and is almost the same as Anubis must be a great ride.
there is a pause for an extra thrill. it really is like dropping straight down. busch gardens' "Sheikra" has a drop of more 90 degrees as it curves in, then out again. dare devil isnt as big but defintiley the same thrill
Wow, this looks like a fun coaster. I would love to see Six Flags Magic Mountain build this ride maybe for 2012. It's like Freefall, but an actual coaster, with lots of twists and sharp turns. I like the tunnel, but if SFMM has one built, I would like to see it dive underground and pop up from the other side, and a longer, darker tunnel. It looks fun, great design.
@redsd2121 because its a vertical lift, so this means the chain has to support the full weight of the car (rather than on a normal angled lift where the vectors of force means the track takes most of the weight, and the chain takes some of the weight) So evidently they wanted a method that was a bit more secure than the normal method where the train has chain dogs underneath. Another way to explain eurofighter lifts...Its works like an Intamin cable lift, but with a chain instead of a cable.
@redsd2121 Because there is a block type thing attached the lift chain, so the train stops at the bottom of the lift for a sec, the chain starts moving and the block comes up from behind, and then this is what supports the train as it gets pulled up the lift.
Thanks for uploading this I rode a rollercoaster in Orlando, Fl called Hollywood Rip Ride and the verticle hill lift between the two coasters are identical
this was the only coaster i didnt get to go on this spring. im excited to go back in july but im kind of sad my sister and i went on everything but this one (and the joker not-a-coaster)
I enjoyed this one, but the last half was lack-luster. I feel like they definitely could have done much more with it, given the amount of space it sits on. I mean, Gerstlauer has done so many amazing things with much smaller spaces, like Untamed at Canobie Lake and that Spongebob coaster at the Mall of America. At the very least, they could have thrown in another inversion or some more twists and turns, maybe a helix or something.
RedBull Air Race themed, oh that's why the track is sort of wicked, I get it. Just like planes do live the moment of flying by giant cones! Thrilled much. Sporty actions are needed for next gen coasters, no longer the height. =)
i comend u on ur honesty those types of coasters r safe i rode the scorpion at bucsh gardens with the same saftey issues with the lap bars but it really wasnt that bad good luck stephy and god bless u and i pray u go on it lotz of prayers 4 u
@heyitsfabian This is a different type of coaster. Dive Coasters (with a holding brake) are manufactured by a different company. This is a Eurofighter Coaster. These do not have a holding brake.
@entradieo , it's actually pretty quick , because there are so many cars so when 1 car gets finished the other one is going down the hill , pretty quick i would say.
Just now realized that this ride has no shoulder restraints. Goes upside down. I would be a little nervous about that but it would add to the rides intensity
Well a lot of ride go upside down and only have lap bars such as this, Shockwave at Six flags over Texas, Mindbender at Six flags over Georgia, X coaster at Magic springs in Hot Springs and a lot more.
@rollercoasterfan97 It's nothing like Montu or Kumba for the twists and turns, you're right it's definitely more of a 'family' based Rollercoaster. But In my opinion I liked it the best, the water section that replaced the old Rhino Rally part was awesome.
just rode this ride a few days ago... its pretty epic but really the only thrilling part of the ride was the vertical drop at the beginning... if your a scared of these types of rides... dont ride in the back lol... haha that was my first upside down rollercoaster and i rode in the back and it was pretty nerve racking lol ...
I think the classic eurofighter trains are better. They hold two more people and you can load more than one at a time in a station because they are so short in length
@rollercoasterfan97 Agreed. I had gone on Rhino Rally earlier, and when we didn't go on the water section, I was angry at first because it had been taken out, but then I had seen what they had replaced it with for the Coaster, and I think it was well worth it.
really the only scary experience is the dive, don't be scared kids it felt like I rode this as a toddler it turns into fun while your doing the twisty turns
Judgingby the video it looks like it's fun but could be vastly improved with the addition of just a couple airtime pops. Aside from the first drop I didnt really see airtime enducing areas.
@spoofproductions100 I rode it. The drop isn't very steep at all. It sends you straight down but only for a small part of the short drop. It's a pretty decent ride but I wish it were a lot taller.
Naomi Masuoka like your picture/ pinked vids my account
Go there in january and no one is there especislly when it opens I only waited like 2 minutes to get on
Fun Fact: This Roller Coaster was originally designed to pause at the top like a dive coaster, but that idea was thrown out.
Shway Coasters They should of kept it, it would be so much more intense
What am I Doing XD *YOU KNOW THIS RIDE AND THE SMILER ARE BOTH EUROFIGHTERS LOL*
PLASTIC Sorry but smiler is technically an infinity coaster :P
I WOULD START SCREAMING.
Debby Ryan why are you debby ryan
I love how they have to narrate everything that is happening "We're going vertical!" "We're Diving!!" "The track is really red!" lol!
Second best ride at Six Flags over GA, following Goliath. Smooth tracks, great thrill, easy transitions. *insert slow clap here*
Eurofighter 1 looks f**king to intense for me
Adventure2297 Gaming Extended Coaster #1 is too intense
1:31, “WHATS IN THE SHED?” Nothing.
He said "into the shed"
Me and my friend went there for the season pass holder appreciation day in November and we had our phones out on this ride to get a pic. of us at the top. The guy who was checking the seats was all like "You're not supposed to have phones out on this ride, but it's the last day we are open in 2011 so go on ahead." Then he sent us lol.

wow.. I almost crapped one when I seen the slope on the first drop.
awesome jobs guys
the queue times are reeel
This is the original shed. Forget Mystic Timbers...
2:17 I haven't heard that type of screamin in a while
ON WHAT DAY DID YOU GO AND THERE WAS NO LINES
Love the cars on this ride. Managed to blag a front when me and Mum rode it a few weeks ago.
I miss the States.
Lol why were you in Atlanta of all places
@@itsahouse639 We were on a Rollercoaster club trip from the UK, and SFOG was on the itinerary.
Really? Wow. SFOG is probably the one Six Flags that is easily forgotten about, while it was also the second park to open under the name “Six Flags”
Nothing beats Cedar Point though.
@andyknight1 I’m offended 😂
Wow Scott, not bad at all for an onride commentary! I liked the "We're diving! HAAAAHHH!!!!!!!" "The track is really red!" & "HANGTIIIIIIIIME!!!!"
LOVE this ride. didnt think it would be much, but i was very surprised
i loved it. the going up and going down is actually kinda the worst, but after it, you feel like it was the most amazing thing in the world. the rest of is great.
going on friday, just watching this gives me chills :P
when you're on the ride it feels like it's only 5 seconds
better than shake rattle roll. love all the inversion and how sometimes you go down the hill the same time the Goliath does
I live close by in Macon, Ga and I can't wait to check this ride out soon at Six Flags Over Georgia. Thanks ThemeParkReview for this great POV of this ride...
:)
that layout is just spectacular
wow! I am more impressed with the video than the actual ride! whoever created this video is extremely talented and needs to have this as a full time job for the best of the best! Amazing video.... and the ride is cool as well, its on the list next time I am there!
That last barrel roll looked soo smooth!
BEST.RIDE.EVER.
the line was huge, but worth the wait ;)
Looks awesome
The fact there is lapbars only makes it 10 times better.
I love how far away these trains are from classic eurofighters.
I think its the sound of the anti-roll back bar vibrating and hitting the underneath of the train, you can hear it because the camera and sound recorder it placed at the front of the train and you couldn't hear it from where the rider sits.

when i went to six flags, they were still building this ride. i'm going back for this! (:
This ride is really easy and really smooth. The almost vertical drop is not scary at all and is kinda relaxing (:
@heyitsfabian The Saw coaster over here in the UK is very similar to this one and it doesn't have a holding brake, just up and straight over the top!
Looks glass smooth and I can't believe how quiet it is!
there is a pause for an extra thrill. it really is like dropping straight down. busch gardens' "Sheikra" has a drop of more 90 degrees as it curves in, then out again. dare devil isnt as big but defintiley the same thrill

The Similarity to Saw The Ride at Thorpe Park is unbelievable!
@redsd2121 because its a vertical lift, so this means the chain has to support the full weight of the car (rather than on a normal angled lift where the vectors of force means the track takes most of the weight, and the chain takes some of the weight)
So evidently they wanted a method that was a bit more secure than the normal method where the train has chain dogs underneath.
Another way to explain eurofighter lifts...Its works like an Intamin cable lift, but with a chain instead of a cable.
That looks ridiculously smooth.
this was defenatly the smoothes ride ive ever been on
I advise you to ride this roller coaster!!! the only thing i did not like was going up!! but overall AMAZING ride!!
@redsd2121 Because there is a block type thing attached the lift chain, so the train stops at the bottom of the lift for a sec, the chain starts moving and the block comes up from behind, and then this is what supports the train as it gets pulled up the lift.
this is such a great recreation I can't even look at it.
one of the best at SFOG now
Thanks for uploading this I rode a rollercoaster in Orlando, Fl called Hollywood Rip Ride and the verticle hill lift between the two coasters are identical

I love this ride so much
hands down 1 off the best in th world.....cant wait to ride
@rollercoasterfan97 What are you talking about? I think both rides ended up being AWESOME and a huge win for both parks!
Got stuck on this ride 2 years ago for about an 1hr. but its a fun ride.
I know this is late but I think I was there when you got stuck. Was it on math and science day? I know we went and the ride got stuck near the end.
I think so
Darius Owens LOL WHAT IF YOU GUYS WERE ON THE SAME TRAIN LOL
RedBull Air Race themed, oh that's why the track is sort of wicked, I get it. Just like planes do live the moment of flying by giant cones! Thrilled much. Sporty actions are needed for next gen coasters, no longer the height. =)
the ride looks really smooth..... the first drop would probaly be the scariest part for me
@heyitsfabian there's not really a brake, your body perceives you've stopped, but you don't ever actually stop. I rode it yesterday.
i comend u on ur honesty those types of coasters r safe i rode the scorpion at bucsh gardens with the same saftey issues with the lap bars but it really wasnt that bad good luck stephy and god bless u and i pray u go on it lotz of prayers 4 u
I like this because it's like a sports commentator. My favorite part was "Into the shed!"
Looks really cool but I'm not a fan of the big beyond-vertical fall!! But I'm riding it this weekend so EXCITED
OH HELLL NAW!!! COUNT ME OUT!!!! This ride is similar to "Farenheit
that first drop is insasnely steep!
@heyitsfabian This is a different type of coaster. Dive Coasters (with a holding brake) are manufactured by a different company. This is a Eurofighter Coaster. These do not have a holding brake.

we stood in line for like 1 hour but when I got on that ride going up wasn't bad but when we went down that slope i was screaming so loud
the drop looks so much fun.
Love this coaster.
This is the only Gerstlaur Euro-Fighter I've ridden.
I'm going to six flags again on Fathers day or this weekend and I'm definitely getting on this
Wow, this coaster runs the tracks really smoothly!
i loved that ride rode it like 2 weeks again
finally, major US theme parks are getting these types of roller coasters.
This looks so smooth!
I rode this thing during sunset so on the list I was like "Wow thats really pr- AAAAHHHH" Best thing ever, smoothest too.
exept this is smoother and doesnt give you a headache
I love this ride!!!
Love this ride
@rollercoasterfan97
It's nothing like Montu or Kumba for the twists and turns, you're right it's definitely more of a 'family' based Rollercoaster. But In my opinion I liked it the best, the water section that replaced the old Rhino Rally part was awesome.
It's surprisingly smooth.
this ride looks so amazing and smooth
Sheikra actually only has a 90 degree drop, but it's still a great drop.
Dare Devil Dive has a 95 degree drop.
this ride looks so cool
Only thing scary about this ride is the drop. not much more to it.
@YouGotMeJuicy th G-force would affect holding the camera straight. so even if the ride was smooth the g-force would move the camera
This has a very similar layout to Anubis, except with a lift hill instead of launch and top hat.
The ride is fun. Not as intense as I thought that it might be, but still fun.
It's like untamed at Canobie lake park
I'm going this Thursday, so excited! :DD
just rode this ride a few days ago... its pretty epic but really the only thrilling part of the ride was the vertical drop at the beginning... if your a scared of these types of rides... dont ride in the back lol... haha that was my first upside down rollercoaster and i rode in the back and it was pretty nerve racking lol ...
Awesome ride was scared too go on it at first but once I got on I went again but my favorites were this one and the batman
Come down to six flags? I live in Savannah so I go up 😂
I think the classic eurofighter trains are better. They hold two more people and you can load more than one at a time in a station because they are so short in length
sky screamer is a different ride.. its new, its a really tall chairswing ride near the ninja
@Rob Simone The Green Lantern at Warner Brothers Movie World in Australia also curves in further than 90 degrees, its great!!!!
Only 3 eurofighters in the us?! They are beast! you need more!
Judgingby the video it looks like it's fun but could be vastly improved with the addition of just a couple airtime pops.
Aside from the first drop I didnt really see airtime enducing areas.
I rode this when it first came out. Only good part to me was the 90 degree climb at the beginning. Haven't rode it since then. Not all that to me
@spoofproductions100
I rode it. The drop isn't very steep at all. It sends you straight down but only for a small part of the short drop. It's a pretty decent ride but I wish it were a lot taller.
ive been on untamed at canobie lake park which is also a euro-fighter coaster
Wow the cars are so quiet on the track!
