Sir, pls compare Sovereign Gold Bond the total return based on 2016 redemption value comes to minimum of 18.30% (ie., Capital Appreciation + Yearly simple interest of 2.50%). So SBI Blue Chip Fund yield of 16% comparatively is less that too with risk of investment in stock market. Sovereign Gold Bonds comparatively doesn't carry risk.

So in total investment period is 30 years. With that 3 laks I can give you a better option. Invest instead of withdrawing the 24L after 15years withdraw it after 30years then according to his calculation it should become 192L😂
