@ I am currently doing the opposite is what I’m saying. I feel like bundling beats for a huge discount is a bad move, paid ads as a new producer is the wrong approach, and the ultra long videos might help get views but won’t convert to sales (you said yourself it’s something you put on in the background). I think if it’s sales you want, this is the wrong advice - just my opinion!
I have thousands of producers who message me that all post type beats that don’t work, these long vids and creative title vids are outlier videos and things to add more value. They have a better chance of working in todays UA-cam where watch time matters Offering $30 for a bundle will convert 10x more people and then from there you can sell them the other leases. This is just basic marketing stuff I’ve spent over 1M on ads I have a decent idea of where there is opportunities in that area as well It’s not that the type beats don’t work, it’s just that new producers try it, get 34 views and then give up cause there is too much competition These strats are where there are gaps in the market, you cannot just tell producers to post free type beats in 2025 and pretend like they will have success. It’s 1 in every 10,000 that will have one pop off there is nothing different they are offering it’s the same titles and thumbnails everything
@@kylebeats2 respectfully disagree. I taught 2 of my friends (and my 60 year old dad) how to make beats and sell them online, and in 2 years my friends are earning around $8000 per month and $5000 per month respectively with a combined total of about 500 million streams on their songs and one of them just got a gold record. My dad started 3 weeks ago and is getting thousands of views per day on UA-cam having never previously made a beat. Looks like he’s on track to make his first sale any time now. The bundle devalues what you are offering too much. I see it often. Customers have a low perceived value of your product so they won’t buy a regular high value lease. Then you are forced to continue marketing in order to sell beats. It’s like catching a falling knife. Paid ads is great and I commend you for what you have done with the drip plugin, but it’s bad advice for new producers. This worked for you for 3 reasons: 1) great ad, 2) great product, 3) you had already built an audience over years and had developed a reputable name and skills so when you did make this offer people trusted and were interested. If your beats aren’t good enough to sell on their own then marketing them is a terrible idea. You need to make sure the beats are good enough to sell on their own. This comes down to beat quality, arrangement, uniqueness, and branding. I have never spent any money on paid ads since I started and never run a bundle like that. It comes across as “desperate” if you do it all the time. Make sales without that and grow the business THEN make a killer unique offer and utilise paid ads. In terms of 1 in 10,000 I think you’re right. This might just be the way it is. It’s the same in every industry. A small percentage of athletes become successful, a small percentage of actors land a movie role, etc. Most people give up too early and most people need to grind more on developing their craft. Skills = sales.
