Alternative passives would actually be so hype. Choosing armour based on it's effect rather than small DPS increases or decreases would give much more variety.
Conversation time. Which path do you prefer/ think will make osrs more enjoyable: 1. End-game gear being 'worth the time' to farm, giving massive increases in dps. 2. End-game gear only giving a slight buff compared to second-best in slot to give that extra bit of dps to nail some time trials but at the same time not being absolutely required for end game content. Essentially making it more of a status symbol, while being able to run raids with people that have a bit worse gear and only losing like 5 minutes per raid instead of the current 10-15 minutes. Personally I think the ahrims buff goes in the 2nd direction. Which I personally prefer, because it pulls more people into end game pvm, earlier. Ofcourse, with the current mega rare weapons being so insanely strong compared to any counterpart in their combat style that they're basically pay to win....I don't see how any updates can close this gap sufficiently. But what are your thoughts?

Why does everyone pretend like 93 slayer is a small achievment? That's probably a couple hundred hours. -Make all the magic changes except the occult nerf. -Nerf the Shadow back to exactly where it is right now. This gives magic a buff to bring it closer to end game melee and range without the shadow obliterating the landscape. Done this way; the Trident style weapons get a small buff, magic items and prayers become usefull, magic max hits slightly increase (except shadow). Magic (except shadow) needs a small buffanyway.
Occulty adds +3 max hits to tridents at 99+magic, partially because jagex always rounds down. 3 max hits would bring your average hit up 1.5. Divide that by the 4 ticks it takes to cast 1.5/2.4 seconds =0.625 dps from occult.

Ancestral should be 4%. I also think the eternal boots change was unwarranted, rather they release some new tribrid boots that outclass current BIS instead.
Ah yes need more places to use the scythe but in the future we want NPCs with extremely high slash defense because of a spec weapon... makes tons of sense.
What never made sense to me was, you can buy ahrims for a few mil, then the next upgrade is like 10's of mils, maybe even closer to 100m. I just stick with ahrims because the cost of the next set (ancestral) is just massive
That's how upgrades should work. There should be deminishing returns. Just because something costs 10x as much doesn't mean it should be twice as good.
It'd be neat if jagex gave the occult a passive that decreased the mage reduction on tanky armours, or something similar. It would be broken but very cool.

The voidwaker will still be a dead item and no longer worth using in pvm with these changes. I play an iron and I agree
Nothing to do with iron has to do with majority if people have families n jobs n ain't got 100hours to grind 1item in a game

I’m an iron and I hate irons that complain. We know what we signed up for
I'm an iron and I hate other irons cuz you mfers are toxic af. How about that lol
They just need to change magic armor to boost magic strength not accuracy and then you have an actual progression for mages.
If arams gets a damage buff it'll go from my bis to my bis
Yo i agree with you about ahrims but not to down my ironmans damage. Ahrim needs be the proposal after that long ass grind as for my main; ancestral is underwelming vs the whole tribrid excluding shadow obviously and who tf wants a bottle neck we want options better than bowfa/1kc at a time rcb type shit
Ancestral at 4% was devaluing Virtus' niche for ancients.
It's still a +3 over it, although I do think it could be given an extra 1 DMG bonus for ancients making it a +6 over ancestral for ancients.
jagex doesnt understand this game at all
well if they're gonna nerf the occult why not barrows gloves
why dont they just make it simple and roll 1 to your max hit if it passes accuracy check instead of just making a 0 just 1 dmg
Damn I haven’t touched osrs ever since helldivers came out
Just got ahrims robeskirt on my GIM after 70 kc... 1% is nothing for my one piece haha
Less go I just invested in elder chaos Druid piece for around 7m I expect it to rise !!
Lol you should do a review on the "top pvmers" perspectives like gnomonkey
Woo now I have to 9 way switches to get max dps with shadow great 🙄
“That’s enough slices”
Lol blow pipe needs to be buffed again was bis for a long time.
Its okay to say your poor in runescape and can only afford occult and mystics. Most you cant do a 4 way switch has fun doing 8 to 9 way switches now to achieve decent magic dps...
mausl 174m now thats crazy
Love watching the videos but that Burp killed the vibe.. please dont be a pig.
Cry about it all you want, I'm not gunna change
@@KingCondor I dont cry about things on the internet. Just simply said love the content you make and put out. but the buping out loud is gross. Not a message to make you do anything. But a message of how I feel as a viewer now. Hopefully you see this as an honest viewers opinion and not a troll or some one that hates you. My intention with the comment was pure .. Well thank you for the reply little disappointed it ended this way :)

Nightmare still garbage if there is dupe protection or not
Power creep? Lets BUFF everything and nerf some necklace and release the same stats on a new necklace next raid, clowngex
Buy Elder Mauls Everybody!!!!111!!1!1!@@@
More changes holy
hope they do not consider pvp crap into these balance changes, less than 5% of players do pvp, the real player base shouldnt suffer for literally nobody
Respectfully, why wouldn't you want them to consider PVP?
They need to keep pkers happy too, also they need to make sure they don't break PvP for when they are in wild
A thriving PVP community is a very large appeal of OSRS over RS3. End game PVM is also a tiny-ass portion of the playerbase, as much as bitchy redditors might make you think otherwise. Balancing for all groups is important.
Making dwh completely useless is a joke. Like wtf
Dupe protect for barrows please
Man I wish these game devs stopped screwing with gear like it's the only way to change the game or make it interesting. Who gives a crap.
This update is complete shit! Now you only get a benefit from doing 7 way switches with each combat which also increases the required gp for the full effect due to needing then full gear slots worth of gear and for many 7 way switches will be a nightmare for certain content in the game. Limiting the amount of potions and food you will be able to bring for the content you plan on if you are still wanting to maximize your dps and accuracy
They ruin the market for a long time , i was just about to buy ancestral and it went +100M its stupid
imbued seers ring needs doubled, thats how imbueing works why even imbue then
ok and then what happens with magus ring?
As a gross iron I really wish they would do dupe protection at barrows... at like 850kc and still missing 2 pieces lol
The solution to solving the dupe protection concern is to just get rid of all the mains 🤷♂
Bought elder maul for 83m... roast me
zero risk, all balance. This needed to happen to expand the reward space for future content.
