Okay Vertile. I will always remember his set at Reverze 2021, I miss this Vertile a lot. Today he has given in to zaagkicks and all the trends, where has his unique style ? 😥
Everytime I’m looking forward if he can make more new tracks with his iconic kicks and melodies. But still nothing happened, just kick edit and also zaag😢

Set honestly could be so much better with the potential Vertile have. Him dropping Psychedelic and Hiding In The Dark is the best part of the set.

Decent sound design and melodies apart, the frequent "is it gonna be an actual drop? can I dance for more than 3 seconds now or will he trick me and make me wait with another mini buildup and make me start again?" in the second half of the set was such an energy and mood drain at the event, especially after the magic of Deepack, Showtek and Phuture Front... Man could be 10x better with more musical sense of arrangement and energy flow in his tracks (and mixing). Also, why use so much flanger. Please do better Vertile, you have the potential

Very much agree. I'm a huge fan of vertile, but he has been slippin' with following the current style. Zaag kicks and getting short or no drops with the awesome melodies.
I thought he would be the hero who would combine the two styles with euphoric melodies and vocals with bits of raw. But he went full anti-climax

I dont really get the hate towards this set, me myself i found this set amazing with great vibes from the crowd. And of course vertile his style might not be your style of hardstyle but no-one is telling you to listen to a specific artist there are many of other great artisist that might fit your style more.

Er zit weinig afwisseling meer tussen tegenwoordig. Blijf bij de sound die je geliefd hebt gemaakt. Experimenteren is goed en nodig, maar je kan te ver gaan. Het is echt niet leuk meer om je favoriete artiest live te zien.

I’d argue Vertile ruined it when he played almost an identical set to what he’s played for the last 9 months, on every big stage.
This set is so beautiful I can't stop listening to it, it's so catchy I can't get over how good it is.

even tho the light show is one hell of a spectacle, why cant they fire more than 1/4th of them at the same time no way they are running into electricity capasity issues, Reverze clears
So much potential with this artist... but I just can't connect with a set like this. It feels every build up is there to be ruined by a drop that has nothing to do with the beginning of the track. It's ironic but I got the same vibes I usually get at EDM or dubstep sets. Only disappointment

Hardstyle evalueert nou eenmaal. Daarom bestaan er ook classic stages of euforische stages. Ik vind persoonlijk deze hardstyle geweldig. En ik vind juist 10 jaar lang de zelfde kicks eentonig worden 😉

jammer is dat idd. deze mannen maken echt superdikke melodiën, maar je zit 95% per track naar 50 verschillende kickdrops te luisteren
Ik vind zo af en toe een lekkere zaagkick wel prima, maar over het algemeen geniet ik meer van de melodische kant. Het liefst heb ik een beetje van beide werelden.

I don't think I can agree with that from this one set. His Decibel set last year was fire, and when I got to see him live for the first time in October, I also had a great time! It sucks that his Qlimax performance is the one that didn't live up to peoples expectations, but I would not say his sets overall are going downhill
I agree with this sadly. If you watch his 2021/2022 sets and compare to 2023 the creativity and energy is complete different. I think he will bounce back but yeah, sounds very unoriginal and samey these days, and his edits for climax were absolute trash imo.

No reason? It's full of awful edits with horrible, horrible kicks.
It's constructive feedback for both q-dance and vertile. People paid their ticket+ traveled and expected the artists to put effort or perform good of course. I used to be a big fan so it kinda sucks to see that just slightly over a year ago, most his set were "set of the event" and now almost every party it's bad or on the case of qlimax it's by far the worst of the night(and this is being objective, because that's the general response, your opinion might be different but that doesn't mean crowd/fans didn't see it differently than you)... All that to follow zaagkicks and tiktok trends, which doesn't work for everyone and killed his orgininality.
I hope q-dance this year does a bit of dictatorship on what style to pass, we want a euphoric and classic qlimax this year!
