It’s so much easier to be stable with regular shots half ml every 5 days all good no side effects at all 3years down the line 56 now never felt better 😉
1:25 if you inject T every month or every 3 months ? You mean week instead of month ? Because no one injects T every 3 months as the half life of enanthate and cypionate is around 1 week it would be horrible after the first 2 to 3 weeks
There is a (relatively new) option where you can take one shot every three months. I don't know enough about it to go into detail, my hospital offers that as an option
You can do it every day in a micro dose sub cutaneous too. The route does equate with absorption ratio. Intramuscular vs. sub cutaneous at smaller doses size with frequency can reduce symptoms of mood swings.
I'm also on Androgel because there's no crazy hormone fluctuations with it. Same dose, but only 1 month on it so far. Keep making videos! I'm really inspired by your changes.
I think youre mistaken, you take a shot once every two weeks at most, but once weekly is much better. The little pill they insert just under your skin is once evey three months.
Hey Daan can i ask you something thats not related to this video but im curious about? Did you always know/feel like you were trans or did you find out later in life? And also were you able to accept it easily? For me im still questioning and its a really confusing time. I like your videos tho! Thanks for making them
Not sure if I can put it al in one comment, so I might talk about it a bit more in a video. But here is the short version. I remember it also as a confusing time, but talking about it (with a professional, but also with people close to me) really helped. Looking back now I think I’ve always known but couldn’t find the words, it was just a feeling like “somethings not right”. Accepting also took some time, realising that I needed to transition to be happy took me the longest as I was afraid I would lose everything en everyone (spoiler: that didn’t happen for me :)). Take your time, and it is okay to have doubts en mixed feelings.
@@Daan_Spieard wow thank you so much. That really is a very nice message. You explain yourself very well. But a video on it would always be lovely as well. Its comforting to hear it was also a journey of acceptance for you. Thank you for your comment ❤️
It’s kind of hard to say what I really felt because of the testosterone. It’s like you’re expecting something to happen and wait for it and then nothing happens 😅. I did feel very tired the first weeks, but that could’ve also been the excitement of actually starting.
@@Daan_Spieard I'm also on testogel, and to piggy back off your comment, I would describe the feeling as being similar to taking CBD oil, you naturally kind of expect something dramatic to happen with your mood but you don't really notice anything. But then you see the benefits long term and with hindsight. I also had really high energy when I started but I think that's due to being so excited and happy to be on the right path.
In the morning is recommended because it imitates the natural testosterone levels more naturally. In cis males, the testosterone levels are higher in the morning and slowly lower throughout the day time. Its something that can be talked about with the doctors, but they tend to recommend in the morning. As someone who had started with the gel application more in the evening and switching to the morning hours eventually, I can tell that it also does effect you a little differently.
Thanks for this video! I was on shots for 9 months but now I am going on gel due to heavy mood changes.
Don’t change:::regulate your regime better half ml every 5 days for complete stability that formula changed my life 👍

Thanks for the info!
Where can I buy this?

@@Daan_Spieard wow so it was not a mistake from you, incredible fact, indeed it's much better to stick to gel in that case!

Use gloves

Hello, just curious if or when, how long it took before you noticed it beginning to work?
Thank you, Daan. Just started T. This was really helpful. All the best from Montreal.
Hey man, great video 💪 Do you think it's safe to mix my clothes (which have been exposed to the gel) with other family members in the laundry?
I don't think that will be a problem, as you are going to wash the clothes anyway.
Way to expensive here in Canada

I was well informed by my doctor, so no mistake here. But maybe certain options are not available everywhere.
How’s it feel?

How long after the very first application could you tell any kind of unmistakable difference in energy, mood, or anything?

Why don’t you put the gel on at night? The instruction is’ prefer in the morning’, not you must put it on in the morning
