This video is very outdated, lots of stuff has changed since the making of this video. I won't be making a new video on what we can expect in 9.0 because the same could happen, after 1 month it would be outdated. Thanks for reading this and have a good day!
Edit: as of 25/06/2024 there is no release date for the update so if a release date has been confirmed I will put it here and on a community post, until then, don't believe anyone

As a dcs players i have a few things to say. In this game the aim 9L beahaves like an aim 9M on steroids. The fact that without actually balancing and making the flare resistance a bit more realistic we are getting aim 9m's and aim 9X's the game would be truly ruined. If they actually add these missiles and not balance their flare resistabce i would probably rather stay at rank 7. Even in dcs aim 9X is able to so crazy shots. Like do 360 degree turns,ignore flares and still hit a perfect shot on the enemy. Also acording to some sources F-15Cs dont get aim 9X. Best thing they got were aim-120C's.
I agree. The AIM-9L is currently overpowered. The range on the AIM-9L is insane and if you don't cut your afterburner you can't flare it in rear aspect shots. Also the max G pull on the AIM-9L in the game is 40Gs (real max G pull is 30 if I'm not mistaken). With the addition of attaclers and lower missile prices, T7 servers are flooded with A-10 users spamming 4 AIM-9Ls at you. That is especially annoying if you're in a dogfight and don't see the missile coming(also thanks to the insane range). I'm still not used to flaring the AIM-9L, sometimes forgetting to cut the afterburner.

@@KireRebekthe only problem with the 9L honestly, is that missiles have a minimal speed. if they did not have that, the 9L would barely reach 2km from a stalling A-10 as they always do. an EEL could be overspeeding over an A-10's head, the A-10 could wait for that max lock range, fire a 9L and the EEL has no option but to just die. missile speeds need to be more dependant on what the launch aircarft is actually doing, if you're not moving your missile shouldnt even reach a target a quarter of the seeker's range. i've died so many times because of a stray 9L coming my way at top speed completely stealthily because it ran out of fuel already, that was fired by an A-10 that was barely even airborne and i couldnt flare it because it was at such a close point that even dropping the burner wouldnt help.
also, the devs would probably deny this if you asked them but unlike every other missile in the game the 9L isnt allowed to lose all its airspeed, making it impossible to outrun when its already out of fuel unless you're going faster than mach 1.3, i have died so many times because the 9L i couldnt flare was just having a dogfight with me keeping the same speed as me for a full minute. the devs are just crackheads, that have no idea how to ballance a game like this.

Exactly it's so sad barely anyone plays this. Most I've seen is 200+ concurrent players while games like adopt me get 100k😭😭

Kids like simple and colorfull games kids are kids plus this game seem for fit to older children but most like anime games

You can play UK or Japan, both are fun. If you want a bit of a challenge you can play Germany or France. If you want a mix of fun and challenging you can play Russia
I saw the fa/18 lot 20 in my server I think a dev was testing it. He even use the aim-120c missile but it was unflarable
That's because it was a radar missile which can't be flared. You would either need chaff(not in the game) or you could fly really low to the ground.
Same I saw 3 devs playing in the f2 f16 and f15

to be honest, i know why they are adding more american planes but i really want to see other nations getting a lot more planes
i love how every update i see is “the biggest”. not saying anything bad but its kinda funny
it the biggest update by far maybe in the far future there will be a bigger update but for now when it comes it will be the biggest in wings glory history
Hey kire, i don't know if you know, devs are leaking so much Things in wings of glory chat, they leaked already stats of aim9X,M, aim120B and aim120C-5, and other gameplay of ready plane
I've been killed by the plane btw idk why I want to mention it
I'm aware that they've also been leaking stuff in wog chat, but I'm not so active there anymore, mostly because I've got so much other stuff to do.
They really should focus on other tech trees
I mean, people only want the F-16, F-15, F-14, F-18. They can't just add a new tier for 1 nation so they add less planes for other nations, because less people play them and complain about the lack of aircraft

they got to give the su27 the r77 it would be fair since it will be fighting planes with the aim 120 and other op misiles
The Su-27, originally, couldn't carry the R-77. Only the upgraded version could, and I think they're going to add the non-upgraded version

10:47 considering where the F-5E currently stands as the most broken tryhard plane in tier 7, giving it 9P5's is a braindead solution especially when not giving the MiG-21 R-60Ms.
the aim9p5 have irccm which is the same flare resistance that of the aim 9 m which is broken
and it will be in teir 7 the f5e will just be pure cancer
the f5 will be really unbalanced
but the mig 23 is fine since it dosent get crazy missiles just r60m and r24 with decent range but you got to remember
the f4 getting 4 aim 7f when 9.0 comes
@@RomeoChitii-ty5frF-5E is already horribly unballanced as it is, giving it all aspect's with high flare res is just going to make it more cancerous to deal with than it already is, unless metal pipe sfx'ing the tryhards with a sparrow is going to be viable

Theres no way it will jump from 12k to 40k right guys like cmon theres no way
I was a bit shocked with the prices too, but there's also a similar jump from T6 to T7.
why do the devs keep adding aircraft to america when it has the most aircraft in the game
surely you would add to other nations to try and balance out the choices?
Because 95% of people only care about the F-16s, F-15s, F-14s... Only a small part of the community is interested in other nations.

That's way to much content in way too little time. 25k-45k for a tier 8?? I'm not getting that.
It hurts that even with so much time on the game, I haven't even been able to touch the French air tree yet, when instead I was just trying to catch up with all of the other trees.
The update won't be coming out for a long time so you've got a lot of time to grind
