Thank you, Greg & Jenny for creating this content! Although I usually play doubles, it's definitely good to learn proper skills for the singles game. It actually took me awhile to figure that my position when I serve in singles is too close to the net (which is not a problem when you're playing doubles).

Thanks so much for this video. I played from 7 - 12 and then resumed at over 50. But still love to play singles! Often I feel hypnotized at good drops by opponents. And I barely moved and the shuttle is in the ground! However at other times I move quite well. I always thought I am doing split step a tad late or not doing at all. Now I know I was indeed late in doing the split step. I guess it is better to do split step earlier than recommended than not do at all! Thanks for your contribution to the world badminton community!

Good red line throughout the video. - 2 Tips that Can be added: (also things being in badminton Denmarks guide) - 1. in your split step, TRY! to make your feet land broader than your shoulders in with, or at least as broad. 2. Racket arm must be "free" from body, depending on the situation on the side, infront or inbetween (as you mentioned). Once again great video. Hopefully i'll see you at the world cup in copenhagen!
