im totally new to malifaux i and i really appreciate that you show all the relevant cards on screen it is really starting to seem interesting to me . keep up the awesome batreps
I haven't ever played table top games and ive been checking a few out. This one seems to be the most fun. Thanks for making a battle report. Good show!
Superb battle report! Camera and cuts were spot on. I could follow the game with ease. I rarely watch battle reports as they tend to be very long and I loose the overview. But yours are so well done I'll watch more battle reports even of factions I don't play. Thanks a lot!
Great battle report. Quick note: @30:31, Seamus should not have had a negative flip from Granny. The neg flips are for Wp duels, and his Terrorize (while it targets her Wp) does not use his Wp.
The copy cat killer aka Mini me was amazing getting Seamus out of trouble and back into the fray over the course of the game. Fantastic job even with slight slip ups here and there very enjoyable to watch!
Great to see you doing batreps again! I have to admit the production value is even better now. Cleared, more dynamic camera angles and overall quality improvement (although it was great already). Looking forward to more! As for the MVP I'd say Carrion as he made an impact each turn.
Good game, thanks for a superb report! And great looking crews and table as well. I think, though, at some times there were too many cards beinf flipped with focused attacks against serene countenance models. However, with such ability-intense crew as Nellie's, thing are easy to overlook, so no big deal there. In my opinion, the MVP of the game was Dead Doxy, soaking up so much damage and attention from Tom's crew and opening the rest of Redchapel to do whatever they like. Loved it!
I thought I'd reply here to make a "Rule check corner". I don't aim to discourage or seem Petty I just hope to bring everyone along together learning this complex awesome game. 21:07 I've been playing since the beta and only recently realised fade away is "when resolving" which only happens when the attack is successful as per it's timing description. It makes Collette slightly less annoying to take off... 38:30 unfortunately for Mech Rider and Pale rider gunfighter is not the same as Run and Gun and charge doesn't allow ranged or projectile attacks. Was a sweet spot to do the bonus action tho 🤙
I am not sure if I am already addicted to the game or watching you guys playing, and I am able to see all factions 😅 This game is defnitely got my attention, also been listening to the podcast and reading everything I can on the lore, such a cool game Thanks for sharing this videos 😊❤
Lovely to see your batreps back again, I've missed them :) MVP was Bete for sure. I honestly can't believe I didn't notice that way of using Rise Again! I feel like I'm Billy Doyle waking up in the despair squid episode of Red Dwarf and finding out I've been playing the prat version of Rimmer for years
Welcome back! It's great to see some Nellie love, my partner plays her and...she is not an easy keyword! I'm inclined to say the Copycat Killer was the MVP of that game, the set up he did to allow Seamus to threaten the almost the entirety of the board was wild. Thank you for another excellent battle rep!
MVP to that False Witness for staying alive FAR longer than I've ever managed to keep one, and also for teaching me that Tell No Lies isn't just enemy models lol. Double success!
Batreps? Check! Awesomeness? Check! Bête Noire being insanely good? Check! Bête Noire gets my MVP vote. All the beatdowns aside, the amazing charge using Rise Again was ace and has helped me. I’ll be trying that in my next game with her! Fab work all around - well played, gents!
MVP Has to be the OG copycat, always in the right place and saving Seamus's bacon. Really enjoyed this, been looking at my very first crew using your reps and masters series. Very close to pulling the trigger on Nellie, but she seems like she needs a lot of planning but has a really fun playstyle, also considering Lucius.. and now the very slim chance of zoraida 🤣
Loved the batrep , glad you guys are back , MVP Carrion Emissary - cos he was carrying his crew , but.... on the first turn shouldnt the coffin marker have been removed after you summoned the MZ into base contact as it states on the card?
@@tabletopandgaming yeah ...he so fast i missed that too ... i do have a question then why isn't he putting out two MZs a turn ..one for BN to burn for a free charge and one for Seamus to ignore his restrictions ie take a second shot etc
@@harveyg3958 the Exhumation is a swift action so only once per turn and the trigger only gives one Mindless Zombie. Ideally Seamus uses the Zombie and Bete uses Corpse markers created by the Dead Dandy
Hi, very good battle report, understandable even for me even if my english is not perfect. I an not an expert but thé copycat is my MVP. It allows so mutch to Seamus...
I'm trying to follow the plan for using the rider to shoot the zombie (with 1 health with hard to wound) in the 36 min mark before going onto revel in conflict & firebomb everyone. Why not skip the shooting & let the firebomb take out the zombie?
As a Resser Player on my own: How did the Guild get to 6pts? Shouldn't it be 6:5 :) (After Turn 3 Guild had 2 Points (both from Strat). How did they get to 5pts during turn 4? They had both schemes, but Strat was 3to1 I think. So no strat-point for the guild, right?-->Would bring the final result to 6:5 for our beloved Killer! Yeha!) Nevertheless: Good Job, guys! :D

Hi there, if you zoom back ever so slightly to 29:43 you should see it flash up on screen. :)

Great stuff! Love the retro minis with that Redchapel crew!
MVP in my opinion goes to Bête Noir - her murdering the Rider really swung things in Seamus’s favour.
The true MVP was the friends we made along the way.
Thank you for the great game!
My personal MVP was Bête. Great annoyance piece, some good damage, and I just enjoy her mobility, especially on video.

Wonderful made battle report with good point of view. Thank you very much for that!
Awesome! Love your batreps, super happy to get another one!
MVP is the Bete Noir, killing machine! I hope to see more and more Malifaux on your channel. Good job guys!
MVP to that False Witness for staying alive FAR longer than I've ever managed to keep one, and also for teaching me that Tell No Lies isn't just enemy models lol. Double success!
The MVP is clearly the Pixel deck for those timely Black Jokers.
Fantastic game, thank's guys!
Excellent video, many thanks. MVP probably Bete.
Really nice love this, MVP Carion Emassary. Those coggins did som work god damit
MVP Carrion Emissary ...great game ..glad to see you playing again
My girl Nellie getting some love. Thank you!
MVP was Bete, i think - super fast and stabby for the whole game :) Great to see another season of Malifaux Batreps!

MVP Bete, this Turn 2 Rider kill hurts.
I am a Guild player but have to admit that "Big Bird" really was the MVP. So glad to see you playing again!
The MVP has got to be the Copycat Killer just for all the repositions that enabled Seamus to get the job done (almost)!
MVP Has to be the OG copycat, always in the right place and saving Seamus's bacon.

Mvp was bete for me
Copycat killer is MVP imo. Being able to keep Seamus away from danger is such a huge ability.
I love those objectives for the lodestone mission. Where did you get those?
my MVP for the copycat killer - ha actually managed to survive and put Seamus whenever he needed to be every turn
Gotta say River of Goop for the MVP. Lots to play with all the movement triggers, so many poison tokens, really ties the board together.
Carrion emissary MVP, must have been sick since he was coffin every turn
MVP for me definitely Seamus, he is such a threatening presence with his little gun of Doom, totally closes off options over the game.
Loved the batrep , glad you guys are back , MVP Carrion Emissary - cos he was carrying his crew , but.... on the first turn shouldnt the coffin marker have been removed after you summoned the MZ into base contact as it states on the card?
I think Darren basically chucks out two but then removes one for the zombie but only places the one coffin for ease/speed.

Great batrep, lot of fun. I’d have to pick Bette as my MVP- she’s just nuts with the fast, the positives and the burying. Doesn’t exactly seem fair…
Been waiting for this!
Keep it up guys!
Where did these markers come from?! Looking for a pack, but not seeing ones that are curved to hug the base like that.
Custom Meeple/Art of War Studios mate
MVP has to go to Beta, if only for the proper use of Rise Again while unburied. She's a criminally underused model.
Phiona performed two terror tests for actions. Should she have received two more poison tokens even though both actions failed?
No idea mate, let me know if you find the answer! :)
@@tabletopandgaming technically you are taking two actions. Should be hazardous per action. The actions are still used even if they fail.
Awesome, I'll remember that next time she's frantically flailing in a poisoned river!
@@tabletopandgaming I also noticed that you forgot to remove a distracted marker. 😁. You must have been distracted.
7 hours of filming will do that to you!

Hi, no idea I'm afraid this was a long time ago!
Dead Doxy has to get my MVP with critical VP gains. Despite the terrible Black Joker flips the Doxy for the desperate draw.
I'm not convinced your henchman is right about bete, but if that charge was legal then bete is 100% the mvp in this game.
Pixel fate deck MVP ;) It was designed by a local who I play with
I love the design of the deck even if it didn't always behave in this game.
MVP - Copycat Killer

Been a while since we recorded but my app is telling me it was 3 lay line pts, 2 for breakthrough and 1 for hidden martyrs if that helps!
Tom had three Strat markers by the end of turn 4 - both of the ones in his deployment zone and the central one so we were both on 3vp for Strats :)
