Throughout her career, the tones of Romanian songstress Adina Butar have resonated far beyond the borders of her beloved Romania. Embracing the mantra of travel broadening the mind, her continual encounter with one city in particular inspired her towards lyrical composition, based on her own experiences in the municipal.
Her kindred spirit aligns with the city that never sleeps - New York City.
Already having an affection for the big apple, her interests spiked further through a live performance during the initial run of Markus Schulz's Watch the World album tour. Surrounded by friends and colleagues, her experience of being swept away by the NYC surroundings became too hard to ignore, and the piece New York City (Take Me Away) was born.
Aided with the soul-clenching melodic nature of Markus Schulz's productions, New York City (Take Me Away) generated appraisal far beyond the United States east coast.
A wait which has been a year in the making is now over, and New York City (Take Me Away) is available now both in standalone form on Spotify, and as part of the Watch the World Deluxe album, available as an instant gratification track from September 22nd, prior to full album release on Friday October 6th.
