- We were warned when we arrived that we may never leave this place. A 1 or 2 night stop over turned in to a wonderful 4 day break. Mikki's Place is a beautiful and friendly camper stop with glorious pool, relaxed bar and great restaurant. Join us as we all relax and enjoy one of the quirkiest places we've ever stayed.

Oi! Lyndsay you eating again. He's a little devil that Steve isn't he. Just fantastic again guys. What a wonderful place you stayed at, so many great things and lovely people by the looks of it. A video with alpacas and goats in is always a winner with me. The pool is incredible in itself, lots of character. Great tour as always around the site. The meals looked fabulous I definitely think you will stay here again in the future. After having not great news about my health yesterday the Roaming Radfords are just what I need as a pick me up. Been here two days just the same as you said great place and atmosphere is a amazing. Still great value 32euro campervan 2 adults no electricity, plenty of sun for the solar. Ps you should tried the club sandwich 🥪

Nice video, that’s was a quirky place but we liked it just as you guys did. Funny to see you spending more than one night in the same place ! The pace of this trip is just a tad too fast for us 😂 enjoying following the trip!

Another great video. We were there April 2017 for two nights. The pool looks brilliant now, a big improvement.

We are gutted we did not go there last year, even though me and Kev drove past the gates looking for a site to stay (it was poring with rain at the time) we saw the Lagoon and the Bus...Maybe this time we will venture there it does look amazing...Was the pool freshwater?

Hello! We didn’t use any prepaid pumps so I’m not sure on that. But I think from memory that the tolls needed a card registered in Portugal. We tended to pay cash for the tolls.

Alo lovelies:-). Just wondering my dears. I’ve never “driven “ to Spain etc in my own car. Am planning a “beginners” trip to Santander but just with our big tent and a Renault Kadjar. So far I’m getting roughy quotes around the £540 return figure. Is that about right to you? I imagine going through Dover To Cala would be cheaper but then I have to drive 14 hours. Would really appreciate your advice and feedback. I’m hoping to get straight to Santander but is that the cheapest way to get there? Thanks in advance x
The price sounds good to me. We would highly recommend the ferry as it’s not just 14 hours driving, longer if there’s traffic, so that’s a 2 day drive really. Then you’ve probably got a couple of tanks of fuel and expensive French tolls. With this in mind plus the cost of the tunnel it’s a no brainier to me to take the ferry to Santander. Hope this helps.
