The flowers on that mountain probably have to do with reaching the top, many might have fallen, or starved, trying to reach the top of that mountain, remember: the people trying to reach the top were probably regular people, not us with our ability to survive 50 meter falls and slay gods.
The reason why there are flowers above the Etruscan docks is because of the rumbling. It all makes sense the shrine even says “May the depths be merciful to the souls lost on that day.” Notice the part where it says “souls lost”, this could represent death, the cause of flowers, and put into play the authority raids, killing the etrean guards, that could transfer to life

Watchers are all around the depths and summon angels to kill people trespassing the area of drowned, flowers are related to souls and watchers have an ''flower likely'' appearance which could mean that they were once humans that died and got their soul corrupted from the depths and transformed into watchers, that could explain the Forge of sin remainings on the temple at erisia transforming the remainings of the corrupted souls there into a watcher. The air dash quest npc tells you to gaze into the flames that, probably corrupting your soul a bit making it noticiable for Ivory to know that you really did that. Blindseers wears blindfolds to reduce insanity towards them, probably making you able to resist the forge curse making it so your soul free and pure making the horrors of the world not be able to pierce your will, which could make sense since the obtainment for the oath you need to go to the temple. Duke has a incredible ammount of power which probably came from the forge that corrupted his soul, considering that he doesn't show any oath signs but still has a incredibly powerful bell.

now whats funny, i think a cool oath concept would be if you place another soul inside of you in exchange for power and stuff

I think the flowers on top of Erisa is the flowers of the resting place of the 1st king of etera. Think about it if you look at the description of the kongas clutch ring it says that the king of etera has mysteriously disappeared for no reason. In my head I have two things that might have happened it’s either the king of etera was killed by none other that lord regent himself and they jumped and killed him and left his body their. Or B the king of etera was killed during the authority purge in eteris and people killed him and left his remains there that my guess what do you think. Also since flowers can be resting place or remnants of a person when they are killed it is most likely that those flowers were the death of the king of etera. People are gonna be confused bc they thing lord regent is the king of etera but no the real king of etera is gone idk why but the 4th prophet is ruling it so ye idk how he got in charge but he did so idk 🫤

Also in guild base if u die and spawn back in guild base u spawn in a room where its empty and see 1 flower and u interact with it u see who killed you or what killed you and when you die over and over again even comming back from the depths and died other flowers pop up but if its filled with flowers the others decay and dust away also other members can die and spawn a flower.

Heres my theory for the 3 flowers blooming in the mountain, Probably due to the war event with erisia and the authority, or Kennith (probably died there maybe)
8 months late but when obtaining linkstrider you can use lotuses to act as oath bound players in the sacrifice ritual after killing said required oath bound players
I feel like to get lifeweaving you would have to get 1 of each flower type,or atleast 5, and the quest would probably be in the greathive aratel place
