Certain instructions should be followed after dental extraction for quick healing of surgical site:
1. Do not remove cotton from your mouth.
2. Do not spit.
3. Cold fomentation on surgical site.
4. Gentle teeth brushing.
5. Do not open your mouth too much.
6. Avoid hard food stuff.
7. Do not consume hot food in first 24 hours.
8. Do not worry about swelling.
9. Warm saline rinses.
10. Avoid smoking and alcohol for few days.
