- Starting tomorrow a wax figure of Jimmy will be on display at Madame Tussauds Hollywood. At the museum, they have what they call the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live Experience,' so we decided to have that here too. We brought 'Wax Jimmy' into our office and put it in strange places to surprise staffers with special emphasis on Jimmy's cousin Micki.

That's weak. He should have tried to scare the males, if he got some balls. Also, as others have pointed out, she could have cracked her head from the shock when she jumped back, by bumping it into a wall or table. (I am personally against any sort of 'joke' that relies on harming or frightening a person one way or the other, regardless of gender, which is why I don't do such a thing, but I of course can't control others, so, since he is so hellbent on trying to scare someone for his sick, demented pleasure, then I am simply daring him to do it to a male since he himself is a male).

Human (like all animals) are very good at picking out moving things, which is why you can easily spot a tiny moving bug on a carpet. A immovable wax figure at the reception desk is such opposite. It won't catch your eyes right away, but then you will suddenly notice a human like figure. So it plays a trick almost like the object suddenly appears from nowhere.
Try imagine this. If people are coming out of a door into a narrow hallway (say a bathroom), and you are standing perfectly still you tend to scare people If you are walking by as they open the door, you are actually less likely to scare them.

I read this somewhere, its not that they are scared from him its that you see him as a ghost kinda thing, your brain can tell he looks exactly like him so panik but something is off, then realises it just a statue and is kalm, then is just so confused about it that it is between panik and kalm
At first glance/in the corner of their eyes, what they saw was a figure. Then when they look directly at it, for a split second they realize that the figure isn't alive/human.
That split second is what scares them.
Its.. staged? When people are walking by a receptionist's desk, do they SCREAM and JUMP in horror when you realize someone is there? No, they don't. This is so fake its funny people can possibly believe this.

@@Leotique a screen replacement costs a couple hundred dollars. Spending that much to repair an old phone isn’t even worth it, especially with the shitty battery life and outdated software that comes with having an older phone. The money is better spent towards a new phone.
