if you didn't know, yesterday was thanksgiving for people living in america. however, the indigenous peoples of america consider thanksgiving as a day of protest. thanksgiving does not have the happy, friendly history that we were taught it did, rather, it has a history of murder and trauma to the indigenous peoples. although you can still make thanksgiving a day to celebrate family and food, it's also important that you educate yourselves on the true history of thanksgiving. it's fairly easy to do, just google "thanksgiving history truth" or anything similar and select a source that's reliable. that being said, stay educated, don't forget to check out the link on my channel art or in the about section of my channel, and i love you!
I celebrate thanksgiving but not as a bad thing I celebrate it as a way to give thanks to my family.
