There’s something about darkness that’s comforting for me. I don’t know why, I find solace in darkness, which is basically why I enjoy night time more than day time.
Most people perceive darkness as a place where predators can hide, waiting for you... But if you think of it twice, you can hide in it too. This way, it can become a safe place for you. There, you can escape the look (and judgment) of others, what can be a true relief, from time to time.
Hey, if you're interested, the aesthetic I'm referring to is called Dark Naturalism. It's incredibly beautiful and tranquil. Dark Naturalism portrays the natural world with darker elements. For instance, picture being in a dark, misty forest on a rainy night, or standing on a dark mountain. And just to clarify, I'm pretty sure most people have thought about running away into a forest during the rain, not knowing where they'd end up, just to disappear, right?
Thank you for sharing! Dark Naturalism sounds fascinating, like it brings a sense of mystery and peace all at once. The image of a misty forest or a dark mountain under rain is so evocative-it really captures that urge to escape into nature's quiet, uncharted places. I think you're right; there's something universally appealing about just vanishing into that kind of serene, hidden world.
It's heartwarming to see so much kindness in the comments. I hope these sounds bring you peace and comfort, whether it's day or night. It's comforting to know we're all weathering the storm together and finding solace here. Let's cherish this moment of tranquility and hold on to it. Wishing you success in your studies and a restful night's sleep. Sending hugs and love to you all.
I think I'm tripping out. I was going to skip this video, but I stopped to comment because whenever I moved my phone in any direction, it was like the dark room would bounce or pop up a little. So I took a screenshot wondering if it was the video. This time I moved the image back and forth and it still had the same effect. It was like looking at an optical illusion. But it would stretch, bounce, pop out or sink in. I even closed one eye to test it. I even just looked at it and moved my phone slightly with a tilt. Same thing. I know I'm not drunk, I know I didn't take anything... Why am I seeing it like that? I must be insane.

I find it brings a sense of peace and relaxation that nothing else can replace

Same thing.
I know I'm not drunk, I know I didn't take anything...
Why am I seeing it like that?
I must be insane.
Sounds seems a little warped and muddled. Not bad though.
I don't know what to do man...
Sleep.
