She was doing it all, acting, singing, dancing and was mesmerizing to watch. I loved the film and it’s a shame that horror is frequently ignored at the Oscars.

Mainly just bc lots of people are very cynical nowadays and are just predisposed to thinking everything is bad just bc nothing is “like it used to be” if that makes sense. So either some people are just out of the loop and don’t actively go out and watch new movies (I for one am always looking out for new trailers all the time in hopes to maybe find an interesting movie I wouldn’t have heard of otherwise) or they’re just a “if it’s not perfect it’s trash” type of person. At least that’s how I look at it.
The fact the Oscars channel has her discuss her performance in a horror movie while they would absolutely leave it in the dirt because of another melodramatic award bait is beyond me
It would be cool for the 3rd movie to do a sort of final destination with a gang dying one by one or maybe something in the perspective of a detective like death note trying to stop it and figure out how it works or a mix of them both would be really cool too
She didn’t even need to do all that, but she did. Best performance in a horror movie to date. Smile 2 and Terrifier 3 really out here putting horror back on the map.
Just saw this movie last night. Her acting was absolutely incredible, along with the whole cast. I loved the songs, and the sound design was absolutely horrifying. I have never been “on the edge of my seat” before but now I understand. Some of the things in this movie were just straight up unpredictable, and it was such a surreal and scary experience to watch.
Oh and forgot she can sing and dance. Damn forgot that was actually her voice singing. Super talented I think she bout to blow up a lot from this movie
Also Smile 2 had original music that directly relates to the plot and Joker 2 has random songs that are from decades ago. Everyone involved in Joker 2 should be more embarrassed than they already were
My boyfriend and I saw this yesterday and it was so good. Her acting was absolutely amazing. We want to watch it again when it gets out of theaters. I feel like the smile demon thing is getting smarter or something and it just kept making me question everyone in the movie. I loved it, highly recommend:)
