- The West Coast Kustoms memorial weekend Crusin' Nationals is one of the top events of the car show season. Cars that tour the show circuit make this event due its tradition as a claissic venue. This is one of the top shelf car shows that includes a gathering of the foremost creators in the field, pinstripes, car culture vendors, and fans that come from all over the world to attend. The proceeds all benefiting the Alzheimer's Association! Can you tell I'm excited? Let 'em roll, the Cruising Nationals !!!
That Biscayne though, wow, what a beauty from a bygone era. I can't imagine car shows in 50 years from now showcasing the cars that we have now.
Considering The pace of life these days Steve, I’d have to agree. However, I went to my first car show about 60 years ago and have scene restored or reproductions of the cars at those shows. So who knows.
I fell in love about 30 times in the first 15 minutes. Gorgeous Kustoms! I wish we had more 'Kustom' car enthusiasts in Florida.
I agree Kevin, love the customs!
Kevin you find those Kustom enthusiasts and I'll come shoot their creations. I put alot of luv into these videos just for folks like you > Thanks.
@@THROTTLEPOWER Tim, I know you do Big Time!
Great Fun Thanks
Paul, it was all my pleasure . You are very welcome!!!
8 quarts of oil L.A. to Lancaster.
I became a mechanic.
😂👌
If it's anything like my y-block.... it was the damn rope seal.
No, it was blow by! I honed it out ( should have bored it out as it had about .008 cylinder taper ) but could only afford the 50$ for a Sears Ring and bearing rebuild kit. Can you believe it (1964 prices)? Got it back together and drove it junior and senior years of high school and then sold ( my 50$ 1950 Ford ) for 75$. I went to the local J.C. and got an AA from their Auto tech program and am retired from a career being an auto mechanic. Can't spin wrenches anymore so I am fully engaged in my other passion of photography. Hope you enjoyed the video.

I went to Paso that last 10 years it was there... went to Santa Maria just the first time but haven't been back... it is an extra hour to get there.

I used to live in Paso and now I I'm in Tucson Az. That's an hour closer then if it was still in Paso. However, L.A. traffic sucks more then ever these days!!!!
I'm trying to remember what I was wearing that day😁
I was in my blue "Dickies" and "Hooked on Classics" black Tshirt.

Holy chit batman.. that merc with an ls2 boosted probably has enugh HP to enter low orbit. My god.
Yea, the LS has taken over for the SBC. And if you don't run "Twin Tubos" your second class. I personally love seeing a 283 W/ vintage carburation!
@@fredmaahs9571 Thats silly lmao. I like retro mod but more so with the original engine with some modern piston alloys etc..best of both worlds..carbs are also my favorite.
