Boy the music is different in Nashville today the music used to be so good they the music today is lousy there I'm 66 years old don't know what happened to the Nashville I used to love it almost seems to me that country music is like the thing of the past how sad that is do I still love Nashville that is my home
@@jacobgilbert2010 I remember back in 2006 if you’d play in any bar on Broadway, it was classic country (Willie, Waylon, Cash, older George Strait, Merle Haggard era)…Or you got thrown out on your ear. Wasn’t any rock or “new country” allowed
@monkusbee I'm a drummer, vocalist, and a guitar player. And I'll agree that dynamics are important with all instruments. As for lead vs support goes... The drums, bass, and rhythm guitar are the foundation of the whole thing, and should not be secondary
If you’re judging your comment based on this video only, then you’re probably wrong. It’s all about the recording quality and if you’re playing it back on a cell phone the recording quality is not good.
Very sad to see these musicians all trying to pack the bars with covers, instead of writing and playing their own stuff. Country music ruined this country town. Now its just a faux country music town.
This brings back great memories of when I did the same thing two years ago!! Loved every minute of it!! ❤
Well done Charlie. Was there a month ago and this is a great example.
Thank You!
Thanks for the tour
Good vid bro. Thanks
Thanks for doing this. Warts and all. Truth without adornment.
Nice selection. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for posting Charles!
Aerosmith dudes freaking killed it omg

What was music like there?

It sucked then and it sucks now.
Ja so ist der Broadway !! Ich hab mächtig Fernweh nach Nashville!
Sto scrivendo un romanzo Romance ambientato a Nashwille tra musica, pub e amori serali...
I’m looking for the name of the second band, I’m putting that song in my set list from now on, they did it better than Melissa did back in the day
Yeep...👍👍👍
Yep. That's the sound.
Got nothing on Austin Texas or half of Texas
did you know the name of the band who sing "sweet emotion" of Aerosmith? Thanks to you!
The guy singing is Kyle Bruich. That's my band but I wasn't there that day. He's great.
@@bookjimijones Thanks a lot
we were in Nashville in november 2019 and we love your cover of "Jack and Diane"
Put money in bucket
@16:29 Thank god this wasn’t a waste of my life, best one so far

They really have some bad bands in Nashville
@10:08 and 11:15 finally some taste and touch
@19:03 oh my, the G string out of tune. Lol
90% of bands let their drummers play too loud. Drums are supposed to be a support instrument, not the main one!
Right
Are you a guitar player or singer by chance?
@@WadicusMaximus less is more in the world of drums, I think!

12:32 who is that band?
The singer is Taff Barrett. His Facebook page is Barefoot Justice.
Oh wait...I have a text🙄
So… no true country music in Nashville?
No real country music here
No names of the bars or the bands. Made it non informative. It was entertaining, but that's not why I watched it.
