You are such a gift to this community. Thank you for paving the way for so many of us. I pray someday you get a glimpse at the number of moms and children you have helped navigate the world of strong academic and spiritual homeschool graduates.

You will be shocked how fast her senior year will fly by! My daughter graduates Saturday and I wish I could do it all over again! It flew by! Cherish every second, do all the things, make all the memories. They'll never be enough of them! Good luck, Kylee & Ashlee! ❤❤

Congratulations to you and your daughter!! 🎉 I'm graduating my fourth out of five this week. Next year I'll only have one high schooler left to start year 20! The Dave Ramsey course is excellent. Love seeing your choices...they look perfect! ❤

I have a 12th grader next year as well. His career path is totally different from your daughters, but i love that you are building options suited to her interests and her future. Thanks for the reminder of Dave ramseys curriculum, I'm having my son do that as well!! Here's to an amazing senior year!

I love how she is going to be a nurse; my daughter also wants to go into the medical field! I am nervous about possible mandates in the future and her having to choose between a job she loves or being fired. Many close friends of mine lost their jobs because their religious exemption was not excepted even though they attend our church, are full time homeschooling moms of multiples!
Since we think alike- how do you handle these conversations with your daughter?

Good luck to your daughter on her anatomy and physiology class! That can be a really tough one. That was the only college class I even got close to getting a C in. I'm pretty sure I got 80% exactly! Thanks for another curriculum video!

Nice good for her! At times I wish I could go back to nursing school to study more. It’s very tough but she can do it! Good for her!

That’s pretty much how our 12th grade year has gone- she could have graduated early, but neither of us wanted her to. She will graduate in fall

Such a bitter sweet time for you and your daughter, what a blessing to be able to spend as much time as possible together, especially now when so much change is about to happen. I hope she has a fantastic senior year. 💕

Thank you for your videos! They have truly helped me with my beginning journey of homeschooling. Can you link the Dave Ramsey course. I know I have a long way to go but it sounds awesome

I love this. My daughter was the youngest in her BSN program. She didn’t start college early, she was just on the younger side (17) when she graduated high school. She is now married and has blessed us with a couple grandchildren. Being a nurse has given her so much flexibility as a mom of young babies. She works a per diem job, one or two days a week. Your daughter has chosen a wonderful career to pursue. I am praying my youngest (11 year old) sticks with her dream of following in her older sister’s footsteps to become an RN as well.

Yay!! This sounds like a really great grade 12 year!!!! I would have loved do do some of those things in my own grade 12 year 😂 Very inspiring as we are not in that season yet but I’m sure it will be here before I know it!!! My oldest is going into grade 7 next school year, but I will definitely be keeping some of these things in mind for the future!! 😁

Each year my oldest (almost 14) is left behind as one of the few her age still homeschooling from our homeschool community of friends. She doesn’t mind, but I can imagine it’s disheartening for her (most of the girls go to school, and the boys continue homeschooling it seems). She loves homeschool and knows everyone does things differently. But my point is-it is a breath of fresh air to see a homeschooling mama going all the way through, using practical resources (not everything online), utilizing dual enrollment, and putting together her own plans.
We homeschool so similarly, and youre such a help to so many. Thank you for sharing with us!

    Congratulations!💖
I am nowhere near graduating my two kiddos. I’ll just be starting out our 4th year of homeschool. I will have a 4th grader and 2nd grader, but I am a planner, and I like to know my options lol. Side note: thanks to you we use TGTB😊. And we love it. It’s been such a blessing in our homeschool.
All that aside, I’m curious to know what made you decide on BJU’s American Government and Economics courses vs Notgrass’s Government and Economics.
Like I said, I’m nowhere near high school, but I like to know my options for when we get there😅.
Again, congratulations on accomplishing what I know is a huge milestone for both you and your daughter🥳🎉! God has been good!!🙏🏼

Do you think consumer math AND personal finance would be overkill? Also, I'll be homeschooling my 17 yr old daughter for the first time for her senior year. She just moved in with us and isn't sure if she believes in God. Do you have any recommendations for us to help lead her to God? She has had quite a rebellious past.

Has she taken any SAT tests or anything like that? I can’t remember you ever mentioning anything like that. I’m just curious… I know that universities in Canada want to see test scores for homeschoolers. Maybe the dual enrolment helps. My girls oldest is only going into grade 8 but I’m trying to figure it all out early!

    • @momoflittleladies
      @momoflittleladies 4 місяці тому +1

Most colleges in America will take the grades of dual enrollment college classes instead of an ACt/SAT. Our daughter will be taking classes at the local community college her junior and senior year to build a strong bases for the university (they then enter the university as a “transfer” student so test scores don’t matter).
