How are you enjoying PoE 2's endgame if you've made it that far? It has been incredibly fun from my experience If you're looking for a new build after yours was bricked, check mine out: ua-cam.com/video/vGwG6xG0p3I/v-deo.html
Thanks so much, I've been looking for a way to 3-to-1 vendor recipe for a while, but I thought the reforging bench was just a recombinator. That information alone solves my map needs!
I do all of these things and even have more points in my atlas put towards waystones, but I can barely sustain. The real problem though isn't that, but rather that if you die, even if it's once every 8-10 maps, you still get super punished by losing that one waystone you put so much investment into AND the league mechanics from that node. Between not having that many great ways to guarantee suffixes on waystones unless you spend exalts, and how punishing dying even once every many maps is, map has the same problem as most other things in poe 2: Yes it's not perfect, yes you can maybe fix it with some tweaks, and yes, you can definitely play in a way intended such as that it gets better... but it's not fun... All of these problems, regardless of player solutions, intended play pattern or tweaks are just not fun.
I also never had sustain prob, the secret is probably what we did on the atlas tree witch is very similar, we went for more monster pack and more rare mobs first, darthmicrotransaction in other way went for buffs to waystones and said were kinda suffering to sustain.
I've been doing all of these except my atlas tree has all of the +waystones and higher tier waystones nodes and I'm still running out occasionally. Maybe the rare nodes are actually better?
I wouldn't be surprised. Seems like every time I drop a map it's from a rare or a magic monster. So it's basically 20% more magic monsters = 20% more maps
Hey Lolcohol. I like your videos, they are always informative and pleasant. Was wondering about the Atlas node that have chance to increase stuff depending on what type of tile your map is on, like desert or forest and more. I noticed you hadn't taken it. What you think, good or not so good? :)
I just quit the game after i realized that no matter how hard i invest in my character the game will never feel chill even in mid tier maps With 70% phys DR, 78% evade, 2.5k Life 2.5k ES, ghost shrouds, perma freezing everything i still get oneshot in T6 maps when not paying close attention. 100ish k dps btw. Waystone sustain is the least of my problems as this issue would just become worse in higher tier maps. Again i understand that I could pay close attention and die a lot less but if i heavily invest in my characters defence i expect to be able to turn the brain off and blast at least in low/mid tier content.
I dont know how you're constantly getting one shot in T6 maps with those defences? Are you sure they're that high? I'm running 57% Acrobatics Evade and 35% Phys reduction (2.5k armour), 2.3k Life and rarely die in T13 double corrupted maps with much lower damage :/ are your resistances capped? Chaos res?
@Lolcohol i have like 30 Chaos res, ele res is capped and i play frost strike monk. Mostly getting oneshot by on death effects when im still punching a magic/rare mob for example in a breach
Good guide, it will help me approach doing the map differently as a new player to POE 2. Question, currently I don't have any map left..other than buy alots of map1(combine to next tier) from NPC , is there other place to farm for map ?
There was a place in Act 3 Cruel that seemed to drop a lot of stuff - it was the place where you had collect Mushrooms. I think it was the apex of filth? That might be a good place to farm !
Hey man appreciate the vids and am anticipating the crafting ones. In the meantime, how do we upgrade gear? Im starting maps and am still using the Act 1 items I had at the beginning of the game. Unsurprisingly getting one shot.
A thumbnail of a stash full of different tiered white and yellow maps its not my idea of sustain. Next youre gonna tell us to farm clear oils to 3-1 for gold oils
Unfortunately I wont be playing maps AT ALL until they change dramatically. Like the XP loss, less punishment more fun, + the respec cost HAS to come down a bit. Only getting Characters to maps then back to LE and other games I play. After Kripparians video, this is my stance. Its just not worth my time ATM.
They already did lol. Not sure if you played PoE 1 but this is much more trimmed down. The game is noob friendly now - most of the people having the most fun are new players.
@@Lolcoholthere's people who found D4 and D3 too complicated. It's really all relative to ones experiences and problem solving ability specific to macro level gameplay. Compared to the vast majority of games out there (especially action games), PoE 2 is still a multitude more complicated, even if it is way less bloated than PoE. I personally welcome this and find the skill gem options lacking in variety, but I'm also someone who has thousands of hours in the previous game and enjoys build creation and experimenting.
The atlas passive tree is a cleaver designed to chop the bloat. It lets you decide what is worth your time to do. Bloat will never again be a problem in PoE1 or 2 because of it.
@Luftgitarrenprofi I will continue to play poe1 every league just for the crafting. best part of the game is gone but I understand why they did it I ain't mad at em.

Man, i opened my first breach and spent 5 mins rolling for my life until it was over. I dont think i killed a single monster tbh 😂
Hahaa! Been there done that.
Can't wait for the map stash :')

This helped aaaalot ❤
Cheers, I got what I needed within the 1st 2 mins lol....I was wondering how to convert 3 in to 1 tier higher!

Check Vendors every time you level up! It sounds like you haven't been doing that at all if you're still using gear from act 1?
@ haven’t done it once :(
My dude, we need the crafting videos. Give me my dose. I don't want it, I NEED IT!
Haha as soon as they make crafting something affordable/doable
Loooolcohol!
I'm completely lost. I've only just begun Cruel difficulty, and I have no idea what this is all about. 😅
Haha you'll find out once you've finished the campaign!

game is needlessly complicated, so much bloated mechanics & systems. trim lotsa fat first, make it more newb friendly

I feel like it’s really dumbed down actually :(
