the way zim's stargazing makes me wonder if he sometimes misses irk :( i know the show makes a whole deal about how irkens are just soldiers and have no boundary for emotion, but zim clearly is an exception to this, with the "i love you cold, unfeeling robot arm" and his obvious compassion for gir
Honestly, had the series not been cancelled, I think we could have seen that particular deeper side and the transition from "Irk is Zim's home" to "Earth is Zim's NEW home" But unfortunately that has to be discarded mostly due to all the changes the comics and the movie have made (not conplaining about either, just stating the obvious)

Other than missing the more darker side of the series, the movie was great, and while the comics aren't as great as the series, they hold up pretty well, specially the one where Zim and Dib go to the Zim void, or when Zim subconcious made a plan impossible for Dib to track and impossible for Zim or GIR to screw up (plus the 1st issue would have been a great episode, Zim humiliating Dib to the whole universe sounds very Zim like lol)
This type of lofi feels as if you know everything will go wrong but still you try to keep yourself distracted while also trying to keep yourself prepared.
Wow, this definitely deserves way more love and attention! The animation is phenomenal! Really looks like it in the style of ETF! And the music selection is also wonderful! :)
This honestly tempts me to go lie in my backyard with my Zim and GIR plushies in the middle of the night and hope my parents don’t find me outside at this hour 😭
@@ChimeraLovesSpace it was really fun and I somehow didn’t get caught either, although some random guy walking by in the alleyway (at night for some reason???) startled me really bad. But otherwise I really enjoyed it :D
