Excellent video dude! I just got a 21 GTX 300 L and was curious on exactly how i go about breaking it in proper. Very nice breakdown. Im going right now to break it in. Thanks for helping us all out!! 👍
Did this on my 2024 GTRX 300. Works great, but in trading it in. I should have just bought the rxpx I wanted firstly. Pro tip, don’t talk yourself out of what you originally wanted.
I’ve not done this. I ride it normally without full throttle for the first 10 hours. After that go nuts. If you do your oil changes on time and when you’re supposed to with a new filter you won’t have an issue. The ECU is programmed to not allow the engine to exceed certain limits within the first 10 hours. It literally says in the owners manual ride it normally. You don’t have to stay under 30 and all that nonsense.
@@epicdunes People really do come up with some interesting stories from dealerships..... some dealers recommend a bunch of nonsense... I'd follow the manual. It actually tells you to exercise the full RPM range implying not to use the learning key.
How do u get two different displays? I can only have speed or whatever I choose along with the compass taking up the spot where the rpm is displayed on yours i don’t know how to change it to have two that I want
@@rocrfella You might have rebuilt them but a manufacturer is still giving it in writing as suggested by the army of factory engineers. Sure anyone would take your advise over the engineers? Good luck rebuilding..
@@sapsdusa who in the blue hell would buy a seadoo and ride around for 5 hours babying it and trying to break it it? Even after the break in period, do you really notice a difference? Do you really think the engineers really sat down and wrote the owners manuals? If youve been where i have, you wouldnt say so. Who cares if anyone listens to what i have to say. Are you really even sure if what youre doing is even worth it for the engine if i may ask? Run it. Baby it who cares! With seadoo, you have other issues to worry about then engine break in procedures.

Appreciate this video but I don't know a single person (including myself) that would have the patience to follow these exact instructions.
That music is doing my head in
If you look on the side of your phone there a volume button
Glad you got to come down to the lake the other day with me and Betty

@@aaron-fauth Was told not to use the yellow key until I reach over 10 hours.

what a waste of time. these engines were tested at the factory for max rpm before shipping them to dealer. just run the damn thing.
Go read the Owners manual before commenting as if you are an owner or an engineer who design these things.
@@sapsdusa i rebuilt the darn thing. I know what i am talking about when it comes to metal wearing, expending and contracting.

@@rocrfella I found the idiot boss.
Such BS. Let me guess seadoo convinces you to ride light for the first two years also until warranty is up😂
I rode mine like I stole it from day one no issues. 🤷🏽♂️
You should do a talk-through. Nobody wants to read this shit
Alternatively you could just buy a Yamaha. 😂😂
