@@emanon8367 I believe it's territory-locked. When I was in the US the link worked just fine, but when I went back to South East Asia the link is gone. So you may want to go to the link using a VPN or something like that.

I think this is because of the lack of government role in protecting the small people, I myself am an independent oil palm farmer and Indonesian palm oil worker

It’s out there. I was living in Indonesia when this first aired and made a point of watching. A lot of people ended up seeing it. It’s always a big deal when an A-list celeb comes through.
Let’s just say that it’s a very tense meeting between the two. Zulfikli Hassan is very cavalier. Harrison Ford very forcefully calls him on it saying something to the effect of “this is not funny, do you see me laughing?! This is NOT funny!” The minister becomes very defensive at that point, which is very par for the course.
Apparently he almost got himself kicked out for the dust he kicked up. But enough people saw the footage and how foolish the minister looked. Usually in Southeast Asia, the fool is the one who loses their cool first. But Harrison’s delivery was so forceful and so on the mark that people saw right through the corrupt minister. It surprised me, but I was ultimately happy to see people take notice. Leonardo Di Caprio came through about 7 years later and had a very similar effect. Sometimes star power really can be used for good. Unfortunately, it’s typically a short lived good in Indo. I’ve seen the devastation in Sumatra, Borneo, and Sulawesi firsthand. It’s like looking at the end of the world. Actually, it pretty much is looking at the end of the world. So when stars step in to shine a light on it, I feel a sense of some hope. I feel, on a more personal level, that I’m also not alone in knowing just how bad this whole thing is. I love those islands so deeply and they need all the help they can get. Big respect to Harrison Ford for sticking his neck out and doing the right thing.

fuck you. our country is shit. no, the government is shit. this show is for showing people how uncaring humans are about the devastation of earth. includes our nation. you know that jakarta is going to sink below the sea level because of global warming. we cant be like this anymore. we need to face the fact that our nation is dying. the government are corrupt. at least they care not like us just sitting behind the screen just waiting the government to take action after its already too late.

Brian Wilson The subject is the suffering of millions of people and animals, and the loss of some of the most brilliantly beautiful and rich natural terrain. Common sense decrees that you pay attention to what matters. The world needs help, so there is no time for pettiness.

I'm glad that someone is asking the difficult questions. It's a slap in the face of reality to acknowledge that celebrities do better journalism than corporate "journalists". Sad state of affairs.

Why not cover a visit the Amazon Brazil ? or to the Netherland to Unilever, Nestle, or Shell (they started palm oil plantation in Indonesia since 19th century) to stop using Palm Oil, or to the US :

Okay, so here's the plan... start with some dramatic music, throw in some fake people looking all serious, and get some shallow depth of field handheld footage, and voila! You have a crisis that we all need to give money to.

+Indonesian Oil Fields Please take a moment to see George Monbiot's article at theguardian.com, published yesterday. In 'Indonesia is Burning," he says "A great tract of Earth is on fire. It looks as you might imagine hell to
be. The air has turned ochre: visibility in some cities has been
reduced to 30 metres. Children are being prepared for evacuation in warships; already some have choked to death.
Species are going up in smoke at an untold rate. It is almost certainly
the greatest environmental disaster of the 21st century - so far."

Dear Mr. Harrison, your intention is good and right. However, you can't treat Indonesian like that. Polite approach is preferable.
