You gave up on Maine too quick. There are at least three dozen other runs within an hour of Smalls Falls. Chandler Mill stream is a 5 minute walk from the Smalls Falls parking lot.
Yea we didn't have much info on the area outside of the book "Let it Rain." That is disappointing to know now though!
