Thanks for the book. Just downloaded and printed it to put on the wall next to my kit. I am not sure if you take requests. But I am really trying to improve my triplets and Bonham triplets. Is there a video you have or will create to help with this. Thanks and apologies if I sound demanding
@@raymondjamous1303 I will definitely post more lessons going over these ideas. For now check out my play list ua-cam.com/play/PLY1k_EiLhWvgS-WyNTeneYDnfxZSkh4uI.html&si=JSSF-Qs0MYem7EZg
Great lesson! I like how you repeat the pattern for enough measures to grasp the rhythm. Thanks for the motivation too... Speed comes from control, not rushing g

Great lesson. Paradiddles fills are something I started trying to get into. Thanks for the lesson. Your videos have shown me the appreciation of a metronome. Using patience to work up faster.
Thank you. I love paradiddles. They are a great place to get started. Metronomes are a great tool. I wish I used it more when I was younger. Nice to meet you!
@cbfieldsmusic it's amazing how much better your fills sound with paradiddles instead of single or doubles. Keep it up. I have gone back to some of your other videos for practise again.
Thank you for watching. The ques are coming from an app called tabata timer pro from the app store. I use it to keep me on track when I practice. It keeps me focused and I don't have to guess about when to start or stop a section of practice.
Thank you for watching, this is a good question. This can definitely be achieved using a single pedal. I recommend doing what's comfortable and easiest for you because it should still be fun at the end of the day.
I use two apps. One is metronome pro from the App Store and the other is Tabata timer pro from the App Store. The timer is pre set and runs in the background
You have to have the right technique first. I was self taught and had loads of blurry chops from the speed I was playing them but when I went to a teacher he slowed me right down and play the notes rather than bounce the sticks and then speed up. Sometimes you have to knock it down to build it back up again stronger.
thank you for watching. I am using the Alesis Strike Pro. I like it a lot. It is capable of much more than what I use it for. I needed a quiet option to use at home that was close to actual acoustic drum sizes. I like it a lot but I do think there are better e kits on the market.
yo wasup cristopher, you probably have already done these but if not, can you do some videos focusing on kicks and how to develop your foot. I have been practicing the groove from this video and the main thing im struggling with is the double kick on the higher bpm.
Thank you for watching. I do have a series of videos devoted to kick drum. They focus on exercises designed to help you play at different starting points of the 16th note subdivision. I would definitely start slow at around 40-50 bpm to develop the technique.

@@cbfieldsmusicI have a question. What kind of metronome are you using????
I love your Alesis DRUM SET

Thank you. I'm glad this is helpful for you. Once we can control the pattern we can take it as fast as we want. 🤟

You're a good teacher. This is exactly the kind of thing that I wanted to work on next. I'm getting on the kit!
@@bebopcats thanks 🙏🏾 I’d love to hear how this works out for you!
Excellent demonstration of that fill and example rhythm for learning to improve on the kit.
Thank you!🙏
Amazing grove! I could watch you play that for an hour. Going to try this today!
Thank you for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed this and are going to give it a try. Let me know how if you have any questions

@@1ConcreteButterfly it’s a dope way to practice
Love this thank you, where do you get that metronome that counts like that?
You are welcome. I use pro metronome from the app store. I change the sound to voice counting and voila.
Which Alesis kit is this that you’re playing on?! Thanks! 🙏
Thank you for watching! I use the Alesis Strike Pro!
@ I thought that was it, but wasn’t sure, thanks!
Hey good vid man. Would you recommend a double bass pedal for this or can you get to 90 on a single?
Thank you for watching, this is a good question. This can definitely be achieved using a single pedal. I recommend doing what's comfortable and easiest for you because it should still be fun at the end of the day.
What app are you using to hear the AI metronome and click

No one's 'blurryer' than me pal. I get it. Self taught as well. Here's to clarity!!!
What electronic kit is that? Would you recommend it? Thanks for the lesson!

@ thanks for the input! Any e-kits you would recommend around the $2500 price range?
Are you doing the same pattern on the cymbals?
Correct. I don't change the pattern even if I play it on the cymbals.
