Birthday, new caregivers and back to school (online)

- Hi guys this is my birthday blog. As you can see it didn't go quite as smoothly as we expected. However I still managed to make the best of the day and I am so grateful for all the lovely gifts and well wishes I received on the day.
There is also been a big change in my life with the increasing of my caregiver hours. This has meant that I am doing much better.
It's also back to that time of year again, it's back to school!

Do you have trouble carrying your tea to the table ?? I’m not allowed to Carry hot liquids I’d spill In a heartbeat 💓
I have a cup with a lid on it when I’m carrying it around a bit like the ones that you and Cassidy have. I can do it in a normal cup if I am going in a straight line but otherwise somebody carries on for me or a drink it’s on the counter.
Anika Baddeley Rolling Backwards I wish they Made lids for regular coffee mugs instead of like a travel mug because I would be so much more independent if they did that because then I wouldn’t spill on myself.
We’re only allowed 40 hours a week of caregiving !! How many hours do you get ??
I get 16 hours a week basically and then I pay for 4 extra most Weeks that are non-funded.

I have to wait until after COVID-19 is over to see if I trigger some more hours on a further care pathway. In some ways it would be really helpful if I do.
I was used to travelling a lot by myself when I was a lot healthier and I kind of miss it. It’s always nice to see different places even around my own country and I still hope to come back to the USA and see cousins and things. I think that might end up just being my dad and I though.I haven’t heard of many people travelling abroad with caregivers.
