@@fifagaming19 I agree Lukaku isn't heavily involved during the build up but is it even that necessary if he's getting you 15-20 goals per season? He's very good in box and can get you scrappy goals unlike the strikers we currently have, offers depth to attack, can hold up the ball or win aerial duels to flick it on to oncoming runners and his constant movement troubles the defence. Lukaku actually said Ole didn't want him to leave but he was keen on a move to Inter to work with Conte who is a big admirer. I don't buy the narrative that he doesn't fit United.

@@UnrulyLK Lukaku scored 16 goals in the league in his first season, 12 in his second and 6 goals in cup games while playing mostly as a centre forward so I don't know exactly what you mean by saying he wasn't good in that position.
Wasn't a mistake, both parties will benefit in the long term.

@@yanstevens8889 He didn't suit how United want to play, Martial does, he's had a good season, 21 goal contributions despite missing two months and playing in a team lacking creativity. Will benefit United in the long term.
Vedant Sarkhot he does the suit the play having a number 9 that is fast strong agile good with both feet, can head the ball scorers 85% of the time and can pass suits the way perfectly. If martial was consistent and didn’t drift into different places because he’s not involved as he would like he could be great. But even ighalo has shown us what a number 9 can bring to the team he should of stayed
@@yanstevens8889 I disagree but either ways, he himself wanted to leave as he always wanted to work with Conte. He didn't want to stay and I think there are better options out there for us to get, if Martial doesn't step up.
Yan Stevens ye this goalscoring beast who doesn’t suit our style of play one bit and has the touch of a donkey useless for hold up, and martial is still young so has potential to grow plus only his first proper season at striker

United actually need this type of player. We win against big teams, but Lukaku was the guy who scored against weaker clubs. Without him, we are losing points. We have great counter attacking system, but we also need to be able to break defences.
I happy to see he’s doing well, unfortunately he didn’t fit our new project , but I will be honest on his day he is one of the best ST in the world, he was just a bit inconsistent with us. I think both sides benefited from this deal. I will always have respect for Rom

Iam a united fan and i think lukaku had enough with the squad as he doesn't have more to do with us.
But i still belive he is one of the top strikers we have in the world of football.

Ole had enough with that and they left him to join inter.

Two options, keep Lukaku as the long term option and limit Greenwood’s progression or get another striker who’s happy to fill in when needed till Greenwood is ready step in.. Not a hard decision to make.. Lukaku can become a great player just not for United.

Out GD is +14,only 3 teams have better we don't need him right now,plus if Lukaku was around Greenwood couldn't have had the gametime he's been having thats for sure. It was a win win for all coz the fans were tired of him & it was becoming toxic,plus now he's a beast in Italy.

The problem are english fans and press overcriticizing players,. He wasn't relaxed, nobody trusted him, he lost his confidence. At Inter he regained everything he was missing and he came back a beast.

I really don't why and in which way It was a mistake. He is happy in the serie A and It has allow rashford and martial to grow in their game, Lukaku didn't suit what Soljkaer wanted. In the long run It will benefit everybody.

mistake? not a chance! Touch of an elephant. The number of clear cut chances this guy would squander was unreal. Not to mention his weight at the start of his second season.

His first touch was a mistake to start with.. We need more reliable strikers.. Greenwood in my eyes is more reliable and has more ball control than this "professional" player.. Only thing with Lukaku is is big and strong and can bully defenders..But useless if can't shoot on target or control a beautiful pass from midfield..

United forward line has scored more then Inters forward line but Inters midfield has scored more goals then ours that's why we needed Fernandes because without Pogba we don't have enough goals in midfield. I wish Lukaku the best but United are building a stronger squad without him.

It was not a mistake to sell him. It was however a mistake not to buy a new good center striker. Martial is in my view not (yet) a good center striker. He is more a winger with his skills and pace. The guy who can dribble a defender and give assists to the center striker. Anybody agreeing with me?
