Judy as always, a great show. What I love about your shows is that they teach, help us know that our experiences are more or else the same and most importantly, you come up with ways in which to help the wider society. I love the idea of mentoring boys and helping mums who are rearing them. Be blessed.
Judy i love how you ask these questions because very composed, intelligent and i pra y to God I get an intentional Father to my kids like my dad was to us.....This circle really really inspires me
Yaaani I just leave this conversation..... I'm just 18 and I'm already learning how to approach life... Vitu hadi wazae wangu hawajawai nishow manzee you guys just inspire me .. ..
Wangari here, raising a nine year old boy , ive loved the conversation, and the realness. I'm here to the end of the conversation, ive loved what Abel has said about as a woman i can't be everything for my son, and i am grateful to God for teaching me this early on in my mothering journey. It's true, take up the role of making a date with a son and engaging them .
I can relate to Tim's story, mzae alikuja Kenya to study as a pastor hapo machakos kwa kina Abel...the struggle ya kuwa in a foreign country 🇿🇲 kwa masomo and having wasee kuwashikilia maze will forever be in my heart.Wakenya walishikilia familia yetu in so many ways. For that reason me ni mkurugenzi and Kenyan at heart daima❤️

I got to understand that not all mem are or will be like my Dad. Nikaamua kuishi kuijenga life kisolo from scratch ... it's been 2 years now.... going great 😃
I've finally watched this conversation...thanks Bi Mkurugenzi... it has evoked a lot of emotions😢😢 coz some (actually almost all) childhood situations are relatable. It's amazing all has healed from their childhood now but what I've not picked up from THE FATHER WOUND is how they healed (The Healing Journey), the steps they took. Like did it take a therapy, a good friend or what else.
The questions Judy get to ask are so deep, real and mature 📌💯.... I'm questioning myself the same and figure out deep things that I couldn't think of😊 I love this❤❤❤
Ahaaa,Njugush …my dad was a drunkard and he later died,,,fast forward to words that always get into my nerves when my granny tells me that your father was a drunkard and he left you with nothing…I hate to say those words are soo deep such that I work myself out and to say that I am now in U.K. pushing my nursing career and afraid of dating and getting kids… Such a lovely conversation
You are lucky guys at the end of it all you have something to show for your hard work. Some of us are still struggling no matter the effort they have put. Thank your God.
I have really enjoyed this conversation. I am currently a mum of two boys expecting my third boy next month and let me tell you my husband has really taught my boys to be young men. Those rough games making them walk to the kinyozi by themselves and come back home with the proper change. Doing manual work with them my 8 year old and 6 year old have been toughened by their dad. If I did not have him they would surely be soap soap boys
Very thoughtful conversation, i like how all of you have decided to be present and be different to your families. Judy be blessed for allowing this men to speak out its brings out the a generation that will challenge genz.
An awesome convo that should not be halted. I celebrate you'all for taking the most important job in the world seriously.👏👏👏. I'm a single mum to a 8 yr old boy and I'm afraid that most of us are smothering our sons and I would love to have one of you as a mentor to my son.
Me too I'm in the same shoes..my son is 9 yrs old I really need a father figure in his life ...I'm afraid of failing as a parent ...I can't keep up with him
As a parenting enthusiast who advocates for intentional parenting, I love this conversation. All parents now should pass here and of-course I can pinpoint 1,2 things of what my own parents were/did.
This is an enlightening conversation😊 Thank you Judy for hosting and setting it up🤗 👏👏👏👏👏Gentlemen, keep soaring! 😂😂😂😂😂The humor beautifully punctuated the conversation.
Never got to finish this Convo to the end, now that I have my son has no present Dad but I'll give the exact lessons Mkuru was given. I love his genuine answers
Big up to all present dads .i have been raised by a single mum,in form 2 I was kinda adapted by another family(not legal adaption) where the dad is very present it feels nice also the brother to mum plays the role of been a father to me but I can say I still feel the gap cause yes they are there but not fully like the way your own dad would have been there💯but i appreciate the fact that they try there best to be a present dad in my life
Nice Convo..so let me talk about something unique Single dad's...well I was raised up by a very present ..loving and strict dad..together with 2 boys and dads driver so I was the only girl ...he was so intentional about Education he partitioned part of sitting room and made a library reading newspapers and books daily was Mandatory..( he was an educational officer) when the hse help wasn't around he would cook ugali..and taught us how to cook mboga ...going to sunday school was mandatory...sadly when I was doing my KCPE in 2010 he died but he used to tell me to promise him that I will go to Alliance that was his desire and few weeks before he died he came to my school..took me out for a lunch date..bought me new glasses and made me promise him that I will go to Alliance.I worked so hard to go be called to his dream school.by God's grace I was called to Alliance but sadly I couldn't go so I gave my letter to a neighbour ..but still went thru highchool now doing my masters in Europe...
Well done Bi Mkurugenzi and the high value men!👍🏿These are the types of conversations that should dominate the content we are consuming in our society. These guys are a huge beacon of light! Keep up the good work guys!
I'm a single mum to a 8year old boy. Luckily I have a brother that teaches him the man stuff. I have learned to keep quiet when they are in it because sometimes I want to intervene ... So grateful!! Because it so easy to baby a child (a boy child) as a mother
I will always be back to say Phil thank you for being a dad to your son and always acknowledging him..that melts my heart..Bless you! Judy i wll never get tired of listening to these men..they are awesome!
