If you want some recommendations 5 years later (sorry for the long ass comment) : City morgue is probably inspired by sybr who kinda started this genre. There's been a lot of artists like kamiyada that mix metal and trap but no one even came close to the sound city morgue had.. The only other artists that had similar beats are gcsy/cameronazi and subjectz, as well as xzarkhan (he has some actual trap METAL songs on his more recent albums) because they worked together with zilla. Yung rare or whatever his name is literally copied zillas whole style. Another artist with high energy that makes metal trap is scarlxrd but he's got a different style, check out the album dead rising. old xxxtentacion, he even has some real metal songs. ghostemane has some amazing albums, especially the last one but black metal inspired, he also released actual hardcore/grindcore and black metal tracks that sounded good imo. Omenxiii is another good artist, check out roses, ashes by him, his lyrics are very introspective and relatable on a lot of his more chill songs, he's very versatile. Also gizmo does actual death metal vocals and mixes them with hard trap beats, his flows are insane on his more normal songs like 401.
