You should make it like dipper is killing demons that hiding in human society. I think that will make it easier to connect his personality to alastor now. His still doing paranormal stuff but hiding it from mabel for her safety from demons. And also dipper hate almost all of the demons except the one he's close too
To be fair Alastor does have a moral code against bad guys hurting those who can't defend themselves so in this au Dipper being Alastor could have happened because he had a supernatural podcast as well as a radio show when he suddenly gets shoved during a ritual and winds up in the past as Alastor because it's a forbidden ritual designed to alter a person to be their past life... Maybe that's why Al was missing for 7 years because he had to hide as Dipper so his contractor didn't steal Mabel too? Also it'd explain why he's so fond of Charlie because she reminds him of Mabel!?!

I absolutely LOVE this!! I always thought the idea of Dipper ending up more like Bill than he would ever want to admit to be a fun one, and Alastor fits the bill. (haha, punny.) I also think it would be rather interesting for them to react to Mabel as Angel Dust considering their failed love lives and how if Mabel truly hit rock bottom she might get in to some rather unsavory things to feel better.
I don’t know why but because of the whole Bill x Dipper fan base I was expecting Bill to become a blushing mess and nosebleed as he passes out when it was the whole “Alastor, please say darling in a seductive way”

We all know Alastor (in the cannon of Hazbin Hotel) is a momma’s boy… and he loves her deeply… how about in this AU, it’s Mabel who’s very important to him since this is dipper we are talking about and he grows up to become Alastor in this AU. You do not have to use this idea if you do not want too, it’s just an idea… and one I would feel would make the most sense for this crossover. Small edit here. If we wanna keep in the idea of a mom type figure in Dipper/Alastor’s life and include the small details… like him being a good cook and him being from New Orleans Louisiana, (this idea does get a bit dark) but what if something happens to Mabel that caused her to die and so he moves to New Orleans for a new start. Perhaps he meets someone who he forms a close bond with and this lady becomes like a second mother to him…. Idk….
