I was so surprised and excited to see that Darrell and Virgil we’re going to be on your show!! I’ve been listening to Unashamed and Just thinking for at least a year and I get so much out of both podcasts though they are so different. God is working!! There is neither male nor female, Jew nor Greek, slave nor free. We are all one in Christ! I love it!!!
I noticed that when Bill said that they were out of time, the show went on for several minutes. It reminded me of how visits we're when I was a kid: people would stand at the door with their jackets on for 45 minutes, or so, talking and laughing. As a kid, I couldn't understand why people would say it's time to go and stay longer. It's easy to comprehend now as an old man; everyone was having a good time and didn't want for it to end.
I've been a OB nurse for 25 years. And over that time I have grown in my beliefs and matured in my job as well. I have seen babies so tiny that there really wasn't anything that we could do medically to save, but they had a heartbeat and would struggle to take a breath. And we would encourage the parents to hold their babies until they were ready for us to take them. Some were not up to it and others never had us remove the baby until they left the hospital. It wasn't until sometime in the last year that I was able to work that a patients husband asked something about how I believe in when life begins. I think I shocked him when I was deeply honest which I would not have been courageous enough to do 25 years ago. I explained that I believe that life begins before conception. It says that God knew us "before" we were knit together in our mother's womb. Before meaning our life was with him and he placed us in our mother's womb at our given time. I have never heard this preached but that is where my heart goes after these years and my maturity in Christ. And if I could explain what I have seen during miscarriage and how tiny a baby can be and still looks, breaths, and has a heart beat like all humans.

You are an inspiration ma’am thank you and keep vheloing these people with what you’ve learned.. my daughter was born prematurely and a knowledgeable, smart , spiritual woman told me to be calm and put it in my saviors hands... my 7 year old is laying in bed asleep now resting... brought me a straight a’s report card home today and I just felt so proud and blessed.. you’ve made me remember the beginning when I wasn’t sure she’d be ok.... please help the ones who aren’t as fortunate as I have been.. god idk what idve done if things would’ve turned out different... they need you.. if something would’ve happened to my baby girl with no one around like you, lord only knows, idve lost my mind

Now this is the dialogue we need. Truth, wisdom, its all in Jesus, not social justice. True Christianity will always seek what is best for all.
@Free Thinker Where is that scripture equated with Trump? Christians generally support the Republican party candidate because of moral issues, namely the fight against abortion (murdering children), but other issues as well. I personally would like to see an independent or other third party, but if forced to support one or the other, the values, freedoms, and liberties we share, are protected to a higher degree on one side much more than the other.

I can assure you abortion is murder. God instituted judgment on many nations, even destroying entire nations. Have you ever studied what these nations were doing? Sacrificing babies on fire stoked bronze idols???
God's final revelation to man was in the person of Jesus Christ. He died for sinners--the laws you see in the Old T couldn't be kept, as it went against the evil of men's hearts. You can see what lawlessness does to a nation--how long before its okay to kill your already born child if you don't want it? You underestimate just how wicked men can be.
Have you ever studied history? You do realize Christianity has much to do with how civil the world has become don't you? Think about it...Caesar had a 6 year old boy as a lover?? They were sick and it was okay. Think of the death and bloodshed in the Coliseums.
Instead of looking for excuses, realize at the core that depending on situation, place, circumstance, just how evil all of us could be in our selfishness. I am sure there were many German soldiers who never thought they'd blow somebody's brains out just because they were a different race or religion.
When Darrell was talking about homeschooling your kids it really hit home with me. My parents decided to take me and my brother out of public school and homeschool us back in 2002. Even back then they were concerned about what was being taught in school. My mom could have worked and we could have had a lot more material things but she chose to sacrifice for us. My parents were questioned by family and even people in our church family thinking it was the wrong decision, but it was probably the best one they ever made.
Forever Free, Praise Jesus that your parents were aware that the curriculum offered in the school system was not to their standards for their children and decided to teach you themselves. Sadly, there has not been any improvement in what is being taught, only declining further. Parents should check out the curriculum being taught, and voice any objections. Should you or your brother have the opportunity to do the same with your own children (home school) I believe all involved... parent and child.... would greatly benefit! May God Bless you and your loved ones Abundantly and Keep you Safe in HIS Loving Embrace.

God Bless your parents!! I worked for a public school system for a very long time. I witnessed the growing demonic agenda on our children. I spoke with my daughter about taking my grandchildren out. She started to dig deep and the following year she and her husband put them in a Christian school then onto homeschooling. She is so thankful that the Lord gave them a way out. My grandloves will never go back to public schooling .
If eveyone in the country would live by the ten commandments, our country would not be being destroyed before our eyes
if everyone went with the Bible the Ten Commandments in the Constitution just imagine how strong our country would be

Before Christ (old testament), adhering to the ten commandments was necessary for salvation. You had to uphold the law to be saved. Fortunately, the law was perfectly fulfilled by Christ and so, instead of depending on our own works to be saved, we put our faith in Christ to be saved. Even so, Jesus repeatedly told us to live by His example... to be Christ-like. Living by His example means living according to the law i.e. the ten commandments. They still matter, the only difference is that they're no longer the way to be saved.

I’ve seen you on here a ton man. I found Jesus for myself. I wasn’t brainwashed, I once thought it was all fake, and science was the only truth in the world. You have ever right to be a free thinker and challenge other ideas. But, I have come to know Jesus on my own and it has been the single greatest decision I will ever make in my existence. And if Christianity isn’t real, fine, what have I done wrong? Tried to do good, faithful to my wife, good father to my kids? If it’s wrong to be those things then I don’t want to be right. But, if Christianity is true, and Jesus is who he said he is, I will live in eternity with him. I wish you could see it, but you have ever freedom to disagree and I support your freedom to disagree
Free Thinker there’s 100% evidence we know Jesus historically lived. Religious and non religious evidence. So saying he didn’t exist is just ignorant. Now the question of is he the Son of God? Or is it all fake, and made up. And that’s where faith comes in.
And this goes back to what I said. I believe Jesus is the Son of God. So you find/come to know him, when you accept Him as our savior from sin and Gods righteous wrath on sinners. I believe in it. I very well could be wrong, but other world views basically say as long as I’m a “good” person than I’ll be fine. But, if Christ was who he said he was. Than those who don’t have faith in Jesus will suffer eternally.
I know I won’t convince you, all I can do is preach Jesus and pray you, and people like you would see the light, the hope, the love that is Jesus. It’s all about faith in Jesus. I have faith in him, and I know I will live eternally with him. I pray other would find that faith to, but some people will refuse, and that is there right to refuse.
Free Thinker Ok, there is research Jesus was a real person who lived on earth. Look into it and you will find it.
And to answer your question. Jesus has always existed. In the beginning when God says “Let us make man in our image...” when he says “us” he is referring to the trinity Father, Son, Spirit. Read the book of John, just chapter one. Jesus is “The Word” of God. It says “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us” Hundreds of Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus.
The Trinity is all one God, who is three person: Father, Son, Spirit.
In the Old Testament covenant, it was impossible for man to live up to Gods standards of righteousness due to our sin nature. That’s why they sacrificed animals constantly to atone for their sins. Then, God had Mary give birth, as a virgin, to Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Thus Jesus was born. And he was fully Man, but also fully God. Jesus lived as the Perfect, Sinless example of how man was designed by God to live. Jesus was innocently condemned and sentence to die on the cross. Jesus, God as a Man, died for us, the underserving sinners. Think about it, your creator died for you, because he loves you so much, he does not want to see you perish. Then, Jesus, who is life, arose from the dead and defeated the grave, and ascended into heaven. And he tells us, if we believe and have faith in his name, confess his name as Lord, Jesus Christ, then we to can live eternally in heaven with our creator. We have souls, we aren’t just animals on earth, our soul can live in eternally with our Lord.
And YES YOU ARE CORRECT, Faith is a hope, it’s a leap, there is a area of “this could not be true,” but that’s the faith it takes to be accepted by God. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Faith in Christ is exactly that.
We as human in our capacity will never be able to definitive prove the existence of God, there is no photographs, or video of the beginning of time. But, when I walk in nature and see the beauty of earth I can’t help but think “there must be a God who made all this, it’s too perfect and complex”
But, the same goes for Evolution and the Big Bang THEORY. We do not know how we got here, it takes just as much Faith to believe in saying “Science can prove why we exist” it takes just as much faith. Science is never going to prove the Big Bang Happened, or if it did who/what made it happen. Even if they do it won’t be in our lifetime. So, theoretical science on the existence and morality of human beings is not a reliable way to what is true either.
Look I’ll repeat Jase: How did we get here? Why are we here? And what happens when we die?
I believe I am here because God crested the universe, and I am apart of the long line of human beings from Adam and Eve. I believe we are here to Worship our God, and learn of Jesus, fall in love with Jesus and preach the Gospel, until Jesus returns. And when I die since I put my faith in Christ I will live eternally with Him.
I know you have questions and doubts, we all do at times, but Jesus truth can set you free from the chains and weight of this world. You are free from death, and free for an eternal death.
Mr Free Thinker, I pray you dive into the Bible, test stuff, seek out sources and arguments from both sides, find a pastor or a friend who is a believer you can trust, and have a honest conversation with. Free Thinker, I don’t want you or anyone to be separated from God. All it takes is putting your faith in Christ, and just trying to do good, and be loving to your neighbor. It’s not a system of law, it’s a system of Grace.
I hope you really think about this Free Thinker, I love you as someone made in the Image of God, and I pray you see Gods truth, not the worlds truth.
Free Thinker there’s many denominations because of the failures of man. We all don’t agree on certain things. But as long as they teach Christ crucified, and we are under Gods Grace, and morality. Then the denominations can disagree about tertiary things, that don’t effect salvation. Other denominations that teach a false gospel i.e Mormons, JWs, etc. that’s another discussion.
And it is a sacrifice, look I have no idea why God even wanted to create humans in the first place. And why things unfolded the way they did. Maybe I can ask him one day. He could have made us all perfect and all would be great in the world. But, then REAL love could not exist. True Love only exists in a reality where that love can be lost. So he made us with Dre will, and Adam and Eve broke Gods Law, because humans aren’t perfect we fail. So God gave us an opportunity to get right with Him morally, and be loved by him regardless of our sins. It was a sacrifice, he could have let us keep sacrificed atoning animals this whole time. But instead of all the blood she of animals, He came as Jesus and shed His Own blood for us. To make us clean, to love us. True love involves sacrifice. A man truly in love with his wife, would die for her if it meant she would live. So an all loving God, would die for his creation, if it meant that his creation could live forever with him.
Why can’t God just accept everyone? Even if they are sin covered, or wicked? It goes against his nature, I wish we could all live however we wanted and still make it to heaven, but that’s just not how it works. Gods nature is good, pure, holy, righteous, and loving. To be in his presence we must obtain those things, and he sacrificed himself so we could obtain those things and be with him. All he asks is we believe and just try to do good while we are on earth and spread Jesus.
Look you can view it as a bad weekend or whatever. But I view it as my creator dying for me so I could be cleansed of sin and be with him eternally. If that’s not true love, a creator dying for the created, then idk what is.
True love is also not forceful. God doesn’t force anyone to love him. Forced love is essential rape, or emotional abuse. God is not forced love. He loves us, he gives us a free choice to accept him, or he loves us enough to let us deny him. He loves you either way you choose, but he truly wants you to believe in Him.
Free Thinker it was a sacrifice because he was a sinless man. Fully man fully God. Just like the Jews sacrificed animals for there sins. Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins. He is the perfect lamb to atone for our sins and make us clean before God. All we have to do is believe and have faith in Him.

Jase just blew my mind! For years I have been saying we need to rid mankind of “labels”. Labels are the tool of the evil one. Labels create divisions. I ramble on saying we are all people. BUT this is the first time Galatians 3:26-28 has sunk in with me. IF we believe and follow CHRIST we are not this race or that, we are not mentor women, we are CHRISTIANS. - Beautiful! Thanks so much.
Thank you for introducing us to these men. I am going to check out their podcasts right now. When my four children were young, I used to say I was not just training up my children but their souls. I felt that I was not only training my child but was preparing their future children and their children’s children. Being parents is a privilege but with privilege comes responsibility. Thank you for this podcast.

Jase, what you did with your daughter and her technology, is exactly what an MST therapist tries to teach parents. I always pray that the families I work with will be hands on active parents with their children. I pray they know Christ and are open to listen. Thank you again for keeping the word of God out there. I always feel encouraged after listening to Unashamed.

Hmm no that is not it at all. Jesus but more accurately Yeshua prayed to his Father. Why would he need to do so if they are the same person. Do you have to pray to know your own thoughts or words?
Also most accurately Jesus was "beloved" and it does matter to those who study to shew themselves approved as workmen rightly dividing the word that need NOT be ashamed.

Referencing the movie "Cuties", I read that 640 children tried out for those parts. So 640 parents were ok with selling their childs' innocence for money!!! I was furious when I read that!! I left a message at that site that I felt the all the children should be removed from those parents and the parents learn what a parent is supposed to be doing. That is my biggest problem, my anger, temper, and lack of control with vile people that hurt the innocent, helpless, and elderly.
I agree what you are all saying ,our child are at risk. The problem in mid america is it cost so much to education that sending our children to christain schools is so much we can not afford it . when local education is free. please pray for us.

Thank you to your co-hosts Darrell and Virgil for standing on God's word as well as for Phil's wisdom, Alan and Jase too!! I and my family left our home church after many years because of this "Social Justice" deception, that they themselves fell into. It was shocking to us that what we believe was a strong biblical church was not. It baffles me how pastors and leaders cannot see this. It is clear in the bible exactly as you all have stated.

Not sure about the meaning of summoning the dead... Literary metaphor possibly. But marxists have been making "the dead" out of the living on an unimaginable scale since 1917. I would like to add a word and I hope that you see this. I'm an engineer with the Charleston SC fire department downtown Charleston. I'm about to retire and I just wanted to share this with you and anyone else that sees this. As many hot fires as I've been in and some of the structures have burned to the ground and not by something that we did, in every case everything burned but the Bible! Even the tables that the Bible was sitting on burned but not the work of God! I've seen it first hand. His word stands in a 1000° fire when all else was ashes. If theirs another fireman that would like to back me up on your own experience please do so. Thats 100% the truth! His word stands even in fire.

Amen to that young woman! Praise God for Jesus is calling them. They live as they do because they have no hope. When The Lord's touch baptises them they instantly are filled with joy. None other loves are true but Jesus. Wonderful blessing comes to the lost and found !

I just wanted to brag on you. I am 63 yo now, but my pre-teen & teen years I went to every camp,,crusade, teen get-together, or any other thing we did. I am so thankful for the scriptures we had to memorize. They have been at my ready-recall my entire life. The entire Podcast today is hilarious! Due to the rampant flooding we have had this week, I needed to laugh . L

I love this series but I really loved this episode. As the mother of an eleven year old son, it was great to hear about the lessons that are necessary for raising Godly children in a household that loves the lord. My husband and I often face comments or judgement on our "old school" methods when it comes to raising our son and it is quite frustrating. Our son is not allowed on the internet without supervision. He does not have a cell phone anymore because he proved that he was not responsible enough to have one. While we do occasionally play video games together as a family, he is not allowed to have a console in his room. We do outdoor activities as much as possible; like camping and fishing. I worry about the ways of the world nowadays but I know all we can do is raise our son with the Lords light and be as good and caring as possible in these crazy times.
