  • Hello Pandora lovelies,
    I am happy to share with you a solution on how to prevent Pandora charms from flipping upside down on your O pendants. This solution works for regular solid charms, clips. It also works on the O pendants, snake chain bracelets, and bangles. I do not recommend using on openwork charms as the silicone rings will show through.
    Here is a link on the type of silicone rings I use. It is best to buy many as some can be used trimmed or as whole.

    I hope you enjoy this video. Don't forget to click like. Cheers my lovelies!

    This makes me happy. I recently went to a jewelry store to ask what I could do to prevent certain charms from flipping. She told that’s just the type of charm. While it’s extremely annoying, this makes so much sense.

      Hello, sorry for the late reply. The last two months have been highly stressful. I sadly lost my boxer Blue. With the grieving and a new puppy, life is hectic.
      I remember asking my associate the same question and I got the same answer. When I found a solution, I went in and I said I found something that will work. She said "you didn't glue it down" What? Who would do that I replied. These silicone stoppers are the best. The only downside is putting it on and off when restyling. I restyle a lot. Argh.
      I can't wait to share new pieces with my Pandora sisters. Again I apologize for my delay in responding. XO

    Brilliant idea...all day I was losing my mind at how many times my peacock charm was flipping over....now it holds in place perfectly. Thanks 😊

      Wonderful! I know how frustrating it is. I was selling my pieces until I found these silicone stoppers on amazon. Multipurpose. Handy for charms and clips. It also helps to create a thirds design without clips and you can just insert one at the end of a charm. They don't work for every charm but I'm happy with 3/4 of them. I am happy that you are happy! Thank you for watching my video and spread the word. This will stop collectors from selling or not purchasing charms due to upside down flippers...lol. Have a beautiful day! 🌞⛅💧🌈🌞

      @@ThePandoraLady aww thank you, you saved my day. I’ve actually returned another charm and o pendant back to pandora due to the constant flipping over lol and it was a lovely charm aswell...now I’ve seen this I might repurchase it again 😂 oh this video is giving me new design ideas, which equals more spending lol 🤦🏾‍♀️ You are right with how off putting it can be. Pandora should make us collectors aware of this, but that’s the beauty of UA-cam videos, learn something new everyday lol have a lovely day aswell, got a new subscriber from me 🤗

    Pandora Lady, what a clever idea! I know you did the video 2 yrs ago but this still works. I will be trying this for those charms that just spin and turn and move all around the charm holder 😂Thank you for sharing. ❤

      Hi TM! Thank you💕for the kind compliment! I guess it's time to remake this video as Pandora has new accessories that silicone stoppers work so well on. It works great on the key chains too. I have my dream catcher on my keychain and it is nicely centered and stays put. I'm so happy that I can help out a fellow collector. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos. Have a beautiful day and happy holidays. XO

    Awesome demonstration and thank you! I just started to collect Pandora charms and have a Mickey Mouse clip. It was driving me nuts spinning around the bracelet- this was such an easy and inexpensive solution! The Pandora store will not tell you about it because they don’t sell them.👍👍

      Thank you. These tiny things have saved me from loosing my mind. I love to cut a slit into them and add one to the side of the clip stations to stop the clip from rolling. Some I have to add two as the clips vary in size. Have fun styling and careful you don't snap one of those in your eye. Been there...lmao. Cheers

    New Subbie! 🤗 fabulous tip!!! This is great!! I’ll be sure to check those silicon stoppers out! So when we cut the silicon rings we should trim off of most outer edges until it slides under, correct?

    • @ThePandoraLady
      @ThePandoraLady  3 роки тому +1

      Yep! Make sure it's not too small and leave it a bit jagged. Nail clippers work perfectly! There's a bit of a learning curves so experiment and don't get frustrated 😉 You did buy 6x2? Have fun and try it out! Let me know how it works out. XO

    Nice! Have you tried using the silicone rings on your charms that are on bracelets? I have a few that are always upside down which is annoying. For the price of Pandora charms, you would think they would figure out how to design the charms properly to prevent this from happening.

    • @ThePandoraLady
      @ThePandoraLady  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Bobbie, That's a great question. The majority of charms do flip upside down which can get a tad frustrating. Yes I have put silicone rings / stoppers on a few charms and clips but it's a bit tricky and complicated. I will make a video on how to do this. It will be posted by tomorrow evening. I'm gonna start planning it out right now. Stay tuned. XO

    How do you trim the silicone rings? Can you make a tutorial?

    • @ThePandoraLady
      @ThePandoraLady  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Kclkate, simply use nail clippers to trim the silicone stopper. First trim the four sides, then trim the four corners. You will need to trim and try, then trim again until you get that perfect fit. There is a learning curve trust me. Some may split when you stretch them over the bracelet and clip stations. Just be careful as I had one snap and hit me in the eye. So beware. I hope you bought a large amount as you will go through quite a few until you get the perfect fit. They also lose their elasticity after being used several times. Try it out and let me know. I may do an update on this subject soon, but I have to restock on silicone stoppers. Gonna take a while to receive from China. Hope this helps. Thank you so much and I may redo a tutorial in the next month. Have a beautiful day! XO

    • @ThePandoraLady
      @ThePandoraLady  2 роки тому

      Lmao. Hi Tony! Yes these are so amazing and versatile. You can find them at Amazon. The only drawback is that it can take up to two months as they are made in China. Sadly I could never find them locally. I also have to make a new order as they do fail over time. It's the only way to stop charms from flipping over and I also use them to stop my clips from rotating on the snake chain bracelet and bangle. Don't forget to trim them and it may be a tad frustrating at the beginning. Take care and thank you for watching my video. XO

    • @ThePandoraLady
      @ThePandoraLady  3 роки тому

      Hi Renee 🤗 Did u check the link I added to the description? The stoppers are very small. Some do need to be trimmed depending on size of charm and if it is threaded or not. There is a learning curve to using these. Is there a way u can make a video on what u r doing and email me? If not measure the stoppers width and depth in mm and what charm or clip u r trying to put them on. This will help me guide u. Send me that info when u can and we'll figure it out.

      Hi Ava. Do you mean how I opened the O pendant? Simply press on the button release and at the same time unhinge. It should unhinge when you press the button. If it's new it may be a bit stiff. Don't force it open without pressing the release button. Cheers
