Rachel, looking nice I need to work on my wrought iron gate s for my back yard next to my shop and both put front that roll on a v track ,,your shop looks x so clean , you do such wonderful work ,keep ot up God bless
This women is driven and I could see she is noone to be messed with when she has a plan of attack for her project. No need to explain ,she's building a bench! Chops Rachel!
Awesome video, only my second video in and love the content. There is no doubt Women in Trades Rock. Don't let small minded little dweebs bother you. For the Salt Lake City Olympics I had a shop set up of mainly Women to fabricate all the handrails and guardrails for the scaffold grandstands. They Rocked that sh-t!! ps, 45 years in the trades and the small hss on the 2ft is a great idea.
Rachel, my suggestion is that you explain what you are making, how you are doing things and why and show us as you are doing it. I realize that slows you down, but right now I am feeling creepy as if I just connected to your security camera. 😆😄😂
Can tell you can lay an awesome weld Rachel. Being a welder machinist for over 30 years I’d like to give you a bit of advice when building a box shape. No need to use a 2 ft square, only a tape measure One tack on each corner, making sure your length and width are correct Then pull your box so the corner to corner measurements are equal, eyeball to make sure there is no twist, finish tacking. Then welder it up.
If this is how you normally, all good, I'm glas to see you do your thing as always, but I hope the recent troll unpleasantness hasn't dampened your Joy. I was also gonna ask if you had squaring magnets, but I see one has made an appearance 😋
A tidy workshop is a safe workshop. I hope you get your layout in a more organised system. Cutting steel on a wheeled trolley with offcuts falling on the floor isn't ideal.
Yeah I don't hope I ever offend you in any way but love your content thank you for sharing period but I think you should do more commentation and explain what you're actually trying to do? Just me
I have been watching your videos , and the are great to watch. But I can see you need to start thinking about your body. You only have one back knees, shoulders . I have been doing the same thing The same thing for fourth one years in a gate shop in Lansing, mi. I have had one shoulder joint , both hips back, and knees repaired. Or replaced you a ramp to load you tools. Don't be dumb like me. You are your own advocate you have nobody else watch out for you. Have a good night.
Get your head out of the fumes. having you head above where you are welding is causing you to breath in bad things. Put your head to the side of where you are welding. That way you have cleaner air to breath. Don't want you to be dragging an oxygen cylinder when you have grandkids. Also wear a respirator will help. From a 67-year-old welder that does not have the welder shakes like most old welders.
It would be exponentially better if you periodically explained what you were doing and why. And in the beginning give an overview of your project. There is no real connection to your viewers this way.
You are a busy hard working woman, Rachel! Keep after it!🇺🇸🙏
