I dont understand why there is no Upscaling used for Withcer 3, Hogwarts with 3090 Ti and why not use DLSS Performance and not Quality in games as even DLSS Performance looks very good compared with FSR XeSS.
So kind f pointless here and there
I ve 12700k + RTX 4070 Ti and I get consistent 55 fps average and 1% lows at 50 fps when I use Ultra settings + DLSS Performance.
Much more playable than that with DLSS Quality.
Same with Cyberpunk77, easily get 65 fps average with all Ultra+ RT Ultra, Path Tracing Off if I put DLSS on Performance

None are particularly great value but the 4070Ti is an amazing 1440p card considering how expensive the 3090Ti was not that long ago. Of course it will do 4k well enough but considering how cheap high refresh 1440p monitors are now this card is ideal
From what i've tested, the 3090TI at 4k gets carried by it's memory bandwith. The moment you drop down to ultrawide 1440p or 1440p, etc; the 4070TIS starts to pull a bigger lead, or games that are a tie in 4k, the super pulls ahead.
this video used 4k resolution and didnt see bandwidth* advantage (you wrote bandwith its bandwidth)

because you don't see the advantage until you see more comparisons, at 4k these gpus require more bandwidth to keep up with asset, texture, pixel streaming at a much higher resolution. The lower the resolution, less bandwith is needed, and the 4070tiS lead becomes apparent since it relies more on pure core performance, on average at 4k they are tied, yet at UW 1440p, 1440p the 4070tiS is on average 5-10% faster.
Don't forget, one the 3090ti is a 1.01TB/s gpu, the 4070tiS is 672GB/s.
why doesnt the 3090 have bandwidth advantage against the 4080? doesnt it have the same bandwidth as the 4070 TI super but the 3090 TI still loses badly against the 4080 at 4K
@@silverbashspam9701 For the same reason, the silicon both the 4070TIS and 4080s have is better than the one a 3090ti has, but they have slower memory, a 4070tiS on highly bandwidth intensive scenarios is going to tie a 3090ti, but on less demanding scenarios it's going to be above it, the 4080 on it's own is faster than both, bandwidth is slightly faster than the 4070tiS, and the chip is notably less cutdown, but the bandwidth limitations are shown when on the same titles, the 4080 at 1440p is 21% faster on average than the 3090Ti, yet at 4k it goes down to 16%, the 3090TI bandwidth allows it to not bleed as much performance in higher resolutions.
@@silverbashspam9701 3090 bandwidth is 936.2 GB/s and 4080 super is 736.3 GB/s and 4070 Ti super is 672.3 GB/s. The memory clock is slightly different in 4080s and 4070 tis, but that difference is not significant. A few youtubers already made video comparison about 4080S and 4070 Ti Super , one has 15%-20% difference in fps in games. Most importantly, 4070 ti super beats 3090 Ti, which was advertised as a 8K card.
The moral of the story is never to buy the Ultimate high-end GPU of any generation because the next-generation mid-high-range GPU is going to beat the best of the last generation at less cost and less power.
So true. These xx90 and xx90 Ti cards are for rich enthusiasts, who always want the best for no particular reason. And then you buy the upper mid range card from the next gen for half price which performs better than their mega monster card :)

4070 TiS could be called 3090 TiPE (power efficient). It is also cheaper, consumes less and in some cases produces even better numbers than 3090 Ti. I think the 4070 TiS is not as bad a buy as many say. I will be buying mine soon 😊

A lot of these games don't look good enough for the level performance. On some of the best graphics cards out. These dev don't give a crap about optimization. And ray tracing has been around long enough for someone to do something about the extreme hit to performance that it causes by itself
Yeah. Ps5 gets 60fps no stutter in hogwarts legacy but much better pcs still stutter, albeit higher resolution and all.

I was about to buy 3090 ti used (from a friend who takes care of his electronics) for £700 here in UK - I had it in my system for a week to try it out. That was beggining of February and I've returned it to my friend and went for 4070Ti Super from Asus TUF OC version based on my research from reviews etc. I do not regret it at all. BTW he still has that card and nobody wants it for even £600 now. In my opinion it is a card that I can describe only as expenssive e-waste that draws so much power from the wall that is not justifiable by any of its performance.
In my country this is not an issue, their performance smiliar,but in TI you will get extra 8gb of memory what will help a lot, for example on workstations for 3d graphics and future games, at least now 12gb is bare minimum. 16 will be low soon.

I realise the whole point of these is to compare the differences of pure raster, but it's kinda un-useful these days as pretty much everyone running their games at this level is using some form of render scaling. And so I think by now, as Digital Foundry does all the time, that Quality or Balanced render scale @2160p output should be the norm; instead of this pointless demonstration of a rigidly outdated performance profile which nobody would even use.
I would never had thought a 4070 ti super could keep up with a 3090ti... would have loved to have seen a 4090 in the mix as well to see what the difference there would have been, but I suppose I could just go look at difference between the 4070ti super and the 4090.. someone surely had done that already!!
Alan Wake 2 should have been tested during Sagas sections that take plaxs in the woods as it the most demanding.
Both the 3090ti and 4070ti Super would be way below 30fps, my guess is into the teens.
When it's new it's not necessarily better but this time it is and by far :)
4070tiS is 4k GBU , and also a high end gbu , it’s 16gb is impressive at it’s price with dlss3 new nvidia features.
The overall RTX 4070TIS is about 5% faster than RTX 3090Ti, and the difference may be higher in new incoming titles optimized for GPU Ada Lovelace. See for example Alan Wake 2 where new RTX 4000 series is much faster than 3000 series. I hope that developers will not abandon the optimization for ADA GPU when the RTX 5000 series appears.

4070 Ti Super is a cutdown version of 4080. So it is a good card wirh 16GB of VRAM.
I dont get it why used 3090ti cards are still around 900-1000 euro. For the same amount of money you'll have a brand new 4070TIS lol. Sounds like a no brainer to me.
Performance wise the 4070 Ti Super looks more like a proper 70 class than a 70 Ti. Should be 599 max.
4070 ti is superior in energy efficiency, at least 40% more efficient and performance equivalent to a 3090, the only thing a 3090 gains would be if a game like that used more video memory, like using about 20GB of video

VRAM isn't the only deciding factor.
VRAM won't increase your FPS. Having 24GB of VRAM will be completely worthless for AT LEAST 10 more years, and by that time the 3090 will be so ancient that it won't be worth using anyway. This is a perfect example of why future-proofing VRAM is dumb.

The 4070 Ti S is an excellent card defeating the 3090 Ti flagship of the last generation, well, after turning on frame generation, it flies into space, I use generation myself in all games where it is on my 4080, I play on a 3k monitor, a revolutionary technology that will develop further!
There are two big problems I have with upscaling and frame gen. One is that they use these software technologies as the main selling point of their GPUs to justify cutting corners on the hardware. The second reason is that developers sometimes use them as a crutch to not optimise some of their games properly. This doesn’t apply to all games. Upscaling and frame gen are ok for old low end hardware to keep it relevant for slightly longer, but they should never be used as the main selling points, especially for high end and enthusiast class hardware.

@@jeevan1198DLSS and frame generation are the two main technologies for 3k and 4k resolutions, especially when you turn on ray tracing and patch tracing, no video card of previous generations will be able to work normally in such heavy modes. DLSS looks bad on FullHD monitors, it already looks fine on 2k, looks great in 3k and even more so in 4k, frame generation is mandatory for all 4000 series video cards for single games, because it has no disadvantages at all!

Какой нахер средний бюджет, ну у тебя и познания. Средний бюджет это 4060. Откуда вас таких берут.
Не сказать что эта карта среднебюджет, все же отбраковка 4080 с чипом ад103, а в этой серии 4080 предтоп, 4080с не сильно производительнее натива, и является скорее альтернативой для тех, кто покупает сейчас. По результатам, ничего удивительного, ад103 хоть и немного урезанный, примерно равен лучшему га102. Напомню, га 102 стоял начиная с 3080 и до 3090ти.
