I have listened to this song 4 times in a row, the line that gets me is "after a while the current is calling me lulling me waving goodbye" i dont know why, but i just love that part
The song seems to tell the story of a man stuck in a hard time in his life and he had to make a tough decision that would both end badly but couldn't be ignored. So it was like a taking a drink from the sea. He was willing to take the consequences wether it made him cold and careless or killed him. That's just my interupation.

This is what you get when you sign a label owned by Disney and your drummer tries his hardest to to get the lead vocalist to quit the band so he goes behind his back a replaces all of his scream vocals with clean ones. Then crys on my space that said scream vocalist didn't fit in with the band anymore and quit.

People tried telling me this song sucked. I honestly just don't get it. But then again Atreyu is one of those bands that nobody really understands. I mean, this is the same band that wrote songs like Bleeding Mascara, but also Falling Down, but also Wait for You, but also Her Portrait in Black. To me, that's what makes them such an amazing band. So much we have left to see, I really hope they come off their hiatus soon.

But, but then I realized that I had no good reason to keep on living, so I stopped, I stopped moving and i drawn like a stone. It hurts you know, taking all that water trough your nose, it hurts a lot. Suddenly, maybe because I stopped moving something happened and i was floating face up seeing the sky. The water flow took me to the beach and the waves draged me out. There in the sand I cried. I found this song a few day later, and i can't stop crying when I listen to it. I only listen this song when everything fails, when I feel lost, sand and anger. I love this song. Save me, take me home. Will I come up for air?
