That looks amazing must get some on my car windows hate not being able to see in inclement weather great video thanks 👍
My glass coating is slowing down and been looking at this for a while, looks really simple to use and the hydrophobics looks mad!! Great video mate, making it so much easier for people to know how to use it best!👌
Easy to use dude like proper easy dude
Thank you! For the tips! Very helpful
Your welcome my freind
Great Glaco combo,
I currently have the new DX version on that they’ve just released and it is very good too, and the cleaner for keeping them topped up is handy
I wanted to try that but thought I would try this combo as looks just as good not had much rain here but when it rained tiday was very good thanks for watching
Excellent video, many thanks
Thanks for watching
Excellent video as always buddy
Thank you buddy
Ordered them! thx
Great product and it's still going strong on the car I did in the video
Agreed. No judder here. Unlike with gtech g1/g2
just used this product over the weekend, made an error on the first application and didn't rinse before wiping off the compound, ended up using alot of elbow grease blood sweat and tears to wipe it off lol. still I've had great results so far, just ive learnt the hard way
Ohhhhh no Andy that's is a story to tell tho. Least you got there in the end
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING used that on the windows and for the body work I've clay barred it, used dodo juice lime prime and finished it with soft 99 fusso coat, amazing results, so easy to rinse the car now
Its good, it took some 2 handed effort to remove with a dry cloth, easier with a damp cloth, still had a couple of bits that had dried on like a varnish that wouldn't rub off, but hasnt affected wiper operation, only left it to dry for about 7 to 8 mins, done 3 screens and been same on all. Run off is very good though.
Great stuff works so good don't think I'd could be without it now thanks for watching
just bought some for my cars!!
Great stuff made a massive difference this winter
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING good to know gonna try and get it on all of my rigs
Sardar ji!
Id suggest diluting your windscreen washer fluid, no need for full strength anymore with the coating on, and it increases the life of the coating.
Thanks for the advice 🙏🏼
Great explanation and easy to understand.
I already apply glaco glass coating but after I clean it from the wind screen, now I can see a slightly glaco coating residu. How can I get clean look without any residu left?
No problem, wet cloth snd then buff or some glass cleaner should do the trick
Bonjour je ne sais pas si ce produit est vendu en Guadeloupe
Hopefully my plan works. I opted to polish my glass with 3d oxide glass polish and correct pad along with my Rupes MKII instead of doing it like this by hand. I figure a perfectly clean polished surface free of oils with an ipa wipe should be the ideal base for the coating. About to find out here soon lol. That is part of the detailing fun right! Experimenting with stuff.
You shouldn't need to but you csn play with products and process no harm
Hi what's the best thing for the window inside,I always have a haze film
Just a good quality glass cleaner and glass cloth dude ckesn weekly and It will go
Hi, great video man!👍☺️
i have a question:
i have just applied the compound + Glaco soft 99 in all the windows of the car…
If i try to clean the glass, i got always some halo that remains on the surface…
Is this normal because it is just 2 days from application?
The repellents is great but i am wondering why it is hard to clean…
Thank you if you can help me on this. All the best.
Sounds like not all the product was removed when you did the application, I have seen this before
Little tip when removing use a damp cloth then buff off
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING after the application the product was not visible on the windshield as for the other glasses. Every glasses looked perfect with no halo but today when i cleaned the glasses with carpro clarify i got a light film of something looking like halos…
If i use i dry towel i improve the situation.
Do you think after some time this issue will disappear?
I hope the wipers will work well😅
The repellence is great so far…
Tell me your thoughts…
Thank you man 🙏
Hi,cai I use a product on glas roof?Thank you very much
Yes of coarse any glass surface
Great video , I would like to ask for how long does this small bottle last? Also how many times can I use this product , for example once a month?
You will get 10 applications roughly lasts anywhere between 2 to 8 months depending on conditions
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING thank you ,all the videos so far are super useful and I think this company has great products 👍
Gyeon tried to imitate the style of application with Quick View, but Glaco performed better for me.
I have tried the gyeon one soft99 is way better imo
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING definitely.
May I ask after the coating how’s weekly maintenance the glass? After wash can I still use and glass spray product? Or not?
Noting needed tbh j7st normal glass cleaning with glass cleaner will be fine :)
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING thank you because I worry I put the treatment on and if I use other glass cleaner to clean it will be damage the treatment
@rayor1661 no you won't have any issues at sll
So if you use the cleaner 1st, then we don't need to clay bar the glass?
Correct my freind
While leaving it curing for 12 hours, do you keep your car in the garage or leave it outside an open area? Is it ok to leave it outside overnight?
Hi dude I left mine outside over night had no issues and have used this on lots of cars and never had an issue just TRY and pick a dry night
thank you so much for your reply. will definitely get one for my car. thank you so much for the video!@@APASSIONFORDETAILING
Fusso coat have the same result for me. Any risk to have problems with the time?
I can co firm after a few applications on serval different cars thar easy 6-8 months no problem
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING Thanks for answer man
Gtechniq G1 is pretty much the same. Done a comparison?
I have not tried the g1 myself I do think this maybe be easier to use and more cost effective
does Glaco work on plastic windows that are found on most general aviation aircraft?
Hi Brian from memory they do offer one for plastics check on the soft99 website
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING thank you
Will the glass compound remove previous old glass coating?
All depends if it as a ceramic that came in a glass bottle if not yes will remove
Based on my recent experience, it does remove precious ceramic glass coating (my case - Polish Angel Glass 9H with primer) effectively only if you use the compound with a machine polisher. A dual action is sufficient. I removed the felt applicator and the clear and orange plastic. Dropped a few drops on a Rupes yellow foam pad and did small sections at a time with a 3” DA. Used a damp low pile microfiber cloth to move the residues and did a rinse after I did all the windows
Glaco DX is much better. It's truly amazing. ty
Dx is better but it don't last as long from my tests
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING well I don’t use wipers and I try to keep the glass as clean as possible
How many cars do you think you can get out of 1 kit? Also, RAAAAIIIIIIIDERRRRS! 🏴☠️
Go raiders 👌🏽👍🏽👋🏼
I think easy 7 to 10 wins sheilds
You aren’t suppose to let it dry completely on. Wet glass, apply compound, let sit briefly, wash off, dry window, put on coating.
The compound you can do wet just gets messy using pressure washer, coating has to set yes it must set
Agreed. No judder here. Unlike with gtech g1/g2
That's great to hear buddy, thank you forvwatching
