Another, "yes please, more of these videos" from me too, Elle. We cook from scratch everyday too, but I always get a new idea or tasty tip from your videos :) ( oh, the parmesan rind! ) Clearly what you eat works for you, your lifestyle and metabolism , as you look fabulous and have lots of energy!
Please do more of these!!! They are my favorite kind of videos from you (along with Vlogmas and the Girlboss vlogs)!!!! Thank you for showing us your cooking as well - such an inspiration for this single gal living on her own :)
You are such a lovely human. Such a interesting and intelligent description of what you eat on a daily basis. It’s lovely that you actually shared the process used to make each item. I find that sometimes people only show the ingredients and not the labor, love, and thought that goes into a well balanced meal or diet. Thank you for consistently posting non-offensive content that everyone can enjoy and learn from.
Your meal prep and what I eat in a day videos are some of your best content to watch. A lot of what makes a fun and healthy possible is prioritizing time for it and making relatively easy changes to ingredients. I have been a lifelong home cook and don’t believe in taboo foods either. For people who don’t necessarily have the passion to cook, meal planning and execution for themselves/family can be tough. Any meal you can make that can be a leftover starter or ingredient for a next meal is a key trick. Keep these videos coming Elle. They lovingly focus on nourishment rather than diet and I have used many of your ideas and have actually lost weight.
You are a successful lawyer, fashion designer, a youtuber, a business woman, are young, beautiful, rich...& the jewel in the crown is...you are also a nice person & a good cook!!! I think you are the definition of a successful woman, a station in life every woman secretly wants or strives towards. A fine example for all young women to follow. Wishing you much success, health, wealth & happiness always!
love this Elle! Could you do a 'kitchen essentials' video, or something like that? I've recently fallen in love with cooking again, and I'm all about trying new things!
This is one of my favourite types of videos you make. I love pasta and I greatly appreciate that your tips help me produce a quality dish, unlike many recipes I've found on random websites. I really get the sense that your cooking knowledge has been passed down through your family which feels warm and personal. I also like that when I learn your recipes I can then reproduce them intuitively, without a recipe or measuring. Thank you for this new batch for me to try! ♡
I absolutely love watching you cooking videos! I have tried a couple of you recipes, the minestrone being one of them, and they do not disappoint. Please keep them coming when you can.
I love your what I eat in a day videos because you are a foodie like me and it gives me great ideas for healthy , nourishing meals that don't restrict any particular food group!
I think your way of eating is one of the best. You eat what you want but not that much of processed food plus many vegetables and I think that's the healthiest way. I really like that apple recipe. I will try it :).
You look gorgeous Elle! Your eyes, your lips, your beautiful hair and your flawless skin, just amazing ❤️ Who agrees? I wish you a great friday and I wanna recommend you a cool relaxing song on Spotify for your playlist: Benedict Ammann - Love ain't cheap This song always cheers me up so I wanted to share it with you ❤️
Not only do I enjoy her "what I eat videos" because they are normal, but I enjoy her entire chanel for that. She has a normal job and a normal life and shares it on youtube. Some other youtubers' vlogs are full of jet setting to expensive hotels in expensive vacation spots on first class. I dont find them relatable nor do I get inspired by their videos.
I love when you share your recipes with us, Elle! please continue to share these videos. You've given me several new recipes to try. That cranberry relish will be first on the list. 😋
I love these videos - it inspires me to cook more. I used to cook all of the time, but after moving to an apartment with a tiny kitchen, I haven’t been cooking as much, and I have the weight gain to show it. Seriously - thank you for posting these videos. I now want to go clean my kitchen and create something delicious and healthy again
I enjoy all your videos, but really love your recipe videos. I have made lots of your recipes over the years and love them and they are now in my rotation of meals.
I absolutely love when you make these videos! I am so sick of the vegan, paleo, keto etc content. I cook dinner every night myself and love seeing non-restrictive "what i eat in a day" videos. I find them so inspiring but they also make me feel good about myself, like i don't need to eat only vegetables all day to feel good! I am sure they are not easy to film but I (and I'm sure many others) really appreciate them! And you look wonderful as always xo
I find it so interesting to see how many people say they're sick of the vegan etc. WIEIAD. You do realize that you are not being forced to watch a vegan, paleo etc. WIEIAD right? I am vegan and have been for almost 8 years now, have never in my life felt better, and I love watching Elle because she's a wonderful, kind and genuine person. I've adapted her recipes to fit my vegan lifestyle and find them to be very enjoyable. I think we can all learn from one another rather than being closed off in our little camps based on what we will and won't eat. Elle represents a very balanced and healthy lifestyle and that is why I am drawn to her. To me, it doesn't matter that she eats meat and animal products, I still identify with her. Perhaps it helps that my mother is of Belgian descent and still eats all the traditional foods which include meat and animal products and I love her just the same and have no desire to convert her to my lifestyle. We all need to do what makes us happy and brings us joy.
@@anniebanana3698 I have nothing against any of those specific diets, I fully believe people should eat whatever they want but to be honest most what I eat in a day videos are focused on a specific "healthy" diet. All I meant was that it's refreshing to see a video that's not labeled as "vegan" or "Paleo" etc because sometimes (obviously not all of them) they can make people feel excluded or badly about themselves because they don't adhere to that lifestyle. I would still watch Elle's videos if she changed her diet because I love her content and personality but it's nice for me to see someone who has a similar diet to myself who also loves cooking.
Yes, I do love watching these videos. Elle, I love your tips and tricks for using what you have in the fridge. I also love that you keep everything in balance - have a little ice cream, but also eat healthier. Love you!
Yes I love these kind of videos....it's super to see someone that eats real food lol. Btw I just received my Nouvelle Pearl order and the necklace and earrings are stunning. They're really a gift for Christmas for my daughter, but I think I 'm going to be sneaking these from her from time to time.
I admire your passion for cooking and making every single thing from scratch. The meals look delicious, filling & healthy which is what I also strive to achieve!
All the hard work in meal prepping with healthy foods is well worth the trouble. Its obvious how healthy and naturally beautiful you are inside and out.
Please do more of these videos! I cook from scratch also and it’s fun to find more exciting yet reasonable recipes to try. Also, might I ask what brand are your glasses? They frame your face so nicely!
This is honestly my second favorite type of video from you following your vlogs 😃 just makes me feel like you’re sharing a bit go yourself with us.. and your food is always so delicious
I really enjoy watching these videos what I like about them is that you make everything from scratch and I would love to see more. Can't wait to see vlogmas!
Definitely need to try all thank you Elle you so inspire me in everything you do, from fashion to food to travel. You are a gem. xoxo Definitely more on healthy recipes and what you eat in a work day.
I've just gotta say I love baked apples and ice cream. My grandma makes them. Keep doing more of these as I'm stuck in a food rut and appreciate the new recipes.
Your recipe videos are my favorite!! I agree with your philosophy! The same keeps me at a healthy weight. If I eat anything processed, I feel bloated & usually see it on the scale. I’m hoping for more recipes during vlogmas! PS, I love seeing Bianca too!!
I’m so in love thank you for sharing this!! I made your butternut Mac n cheese yesterday and was so amazed at how tasty it was. You are my fave youtuber!!! - a fan from yyc
Watching you cook from scratch is very inspiring. I bet your grocery hauls are amazing. 😉 Would you say portion size is also key to your healthy eating? And how about eating out? Do you eat out less or do you simply make "better" choices? Or maybe you let yourself have a treat when out so that it never feels restrictive? These are all questions I would love to hear you address in a future healthy food video. Thanks Elle! 💕
I eat out so little that I consider it a treat within reason. I like having seconds so portion size is also important - especially at breakfast and lunch so I don’t feel lethargic after.
@@ElleFlorence Thanks for replying. For some reason I always thought you ate out quite a bit. I eat out waaay more than I should in a week so I need to cut back. Have it as a treat.
No, maybe twice a week, lately once because too busy. I eat out a lot more when I’m in Hawaii with my mom though, but that’s vacation and we all know calories don’t exist on vacation haha xx
Hi there, just my two cents - I do think portion control is good to keep an eye on, often we just fill our bowls / plates and it's more than we actually need. Agree with Elle with getting seconds LOL I often dish less and then just have seconds if I'm still hungry. I also try to eat consistently throughout the day because sometimes if you're starving you overeat when you eventually sit down to a meal, eating slowly also helps your body have time to digest so often you will be fuller just because you took more time to have your meal. I actually have a smaller cereal bowl and I try use a patterned plate - both give the illusion of more food because they seem fuller :) Also if you eat less at dinner there is more space for pudding right? :)
@@tiffanynaude7084 Such great advice, thank you. I have been trying to use smaller bowls at meal time and side plates as dinner plates as they are much smaller. I am definitely an emotional eater too so I need to be aware of why I am eating. Am I actually hungry or am I just eating because I am sad, bored, etc? I am aware of my bad habits, it's just so difficult to break them. 😞
Another amazing video to relax and watch to start off my weekend! Well done, Elle! I'm so glad that you are very real with your videos and don't follow the typical youtube hype of certain "diets"! I will be trying your bolognese sauce for sure! Thank you

Wine will only give you a tannic quality in bolegnaise, better to pour a splash of sherry or port which are longer shelf life, too. Try adding a 1/3 cup of Pui lentils in sauce or pasta, beans are excellent for overall health

Vegan is not normal?
Or worse...keto.
Waiting for the vegan warrior bandwagon comments like... wait there it is hahaha
