In my case, I forgot to turn off my tap so it leaked into my dishwasher and water stayed under it. The tap was fixed but the error code came from the dishwasher.
Just take off the front panel (6 screws) and pull off the kick shield and metal plate behind it. If the float sensor has water in it your machine is leaking inside and , even if you dry it, the E15 error will return after a few days. It will be one of the rubber seals. If you are lucky its the door seal (just clean it) if not lucky its in the various joints between things and means a lot of time/effort to change.(BTW - No need to remove the control panel. )

Hi Kiki, it seems too hard at first but slowly wiggle it, and it will come loose. Same thing happened when i first tried it. There's a small clip that you can push to pull it. Hope you find it.

You only need to remove 6 screws to remove the front door.
