Thinking of buying one for next winter. I have a drafty old house in upstate NH. I pretty much hunker down in my bedroom or the living room with the fire going...I was debating the perfection vs a new in wall propane heater...? All I have in the 160 sf BR now is an "Amish" electric heatsurge fireplace... Good move? To replace the heatsurge? How much fuel to use this for 8 hrs? Tip over? TY!!
I've never heard of these heaters but now I've got to have one . . . or two or four. They're readily available on ebay.

This is only heat I have, heats my whole house, but I had put a lot money fixing broken windows and replaced none useable doors
