I really loved this moview when I was a child. It somehow just popped into my head so I UA-camd it 😂😂👌👌
This movie is actually awesome. Written off on Rotten Tomatoes by soulless critics. It’s so entertaining and fun. Don’t know how anyone could hate it.
It's a cool movie and an obvious inspiration for Netflix's latest movie "Hustle" featuring Adam Sandler as Kevin Bacon.
It is good, I remember seeing this movie at the theater. And if rotten tomatoes trashed it, that means it’s good
Who can forget this film?!?!?!? I love the 90's!
Dikembe Mutombo's older brother (Ilo) was the best player on team Mingori (Mifundo)!! This is a eagerly underrated film, and definitely a great basketball movie!!
Not sure why, but my favorite scene was during the last game, when Jimmy gets hurt, and is wrapping his knee back up to play again. Saleh tells him he'll go back regardless if they win or lose, but Jimmy tells him that this is more about that, and that after the game he can do whatever he wants. Shows how Jimmy 'grew up' and understood that the safety of the village was more important than getting a good recruit for college.
I love the way he was introduced in this movie, with that iconic dive
This film has always been amazing!!!!! GO WINABI!!!!
The music and atmosphere have always drawn me in. Absolutely love it!

H Cortes... you are talking about two completely different films. One is a horror film while the other is a sports comedy/drama.

Six Degrees of Separation with Will Smith predates this Kevin Bacon film by weeks, which predates the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon by a few months.

Meek Mills
Krugman?
The Air Up There or White Men Cant Jump? I cant decide!
They're both great films. I liked White Men Can't Jump for the basketball scenes with all the wise cracking, fancy dribble moves, and power dunks of modern American playground basketball, but I felt The Air Up There overall was a somewhat more out the box experience due to the cultural aspect of being in Africa teaching the game from scratch to villagers who had no experience with the sport. You could also think of it as the African vs. the African-American experience.
i want to see this full movie hoping it too if you given a permission thanks i'll be waiting
Charles Gitonga Maina called himself a dunkaholic once. Now he is a drunkaholic.
I remember seeing this movie in theaters when I was a kid and the entire theater literally stood up and cheered when the main character scored a goal and won the game. Looking back that was crazy seeing people stand at a movie.
