- More than four years ago (2019.1.10 Yushan) I started to climb Baiyue Mountain. After that, I attacked Beidawu Mountain alone, and then Xueshan Mountain and Bilu Mountain alone. My friend said that I wanted to attack Qilai Zhubei alone. Of course I didn’t want to I missed it. I bought a new smaller single-attack backpack for this more difficult trip, but my friend went climbing first when I took my wife to the snow mountain for the second time (2020.6.12), and then my friend kept saying it after he came back. The main north of Qilai is mostly in the north and is difficult to climb. In view of the many rumors about "Black Qilai", my friend's wife also went astray during the trip, so I had to continue to arrange the simpler Baiyue first and continue training. Regarding physical fitness, I just thought about when I could go there...I kept thinking about it for almost three years.
Half a year ago, I almost climbed the Baiyue Mountains that I thought were easy, improved my physical fitness, and did a lot of homework about Qilai North. Last year (October 2022), I started applying for a 3 days and 2 nights trip with my wife. However, the weather was not good. I had applied for the Qing Dynasty holiday this year (April 2023), but Liushun Mountain was open again. I thought it was important to go to Colorful Lake and Liushun Mountain, which are limited to seasons. Sure enough, the Dandalinda Road news had been hyped for a month. Keywords bring a lot of clicks, and I predict that next year it will be the first video to hit 100,000 views. I originally wanted to apply for a holiday during the Dragon Boat Festival and come back to challenge Qilai North Peak again during the summer vacation. It happened that my college classmate said that I would go in May during the student examination week. I applied immediately without saying anything. Time is limited and I can only climb Qilai North Peak. This trip I’ll try the water temperature first, and I’ll be more confident if I plan to bring others with me for 3 days and 2 nights next time.

My experience: First of all, choose good weather before setting off. From Xiaoqilai in front, it is a slow descent all the way to Heishuitang, which is easy and easy to walk. From Heishuitang to Chenggong Mountain House, it is not difficult to go up and down. The climb is steep all the way from Chenggong Mountain House. The mileage is not long, and it feels like the climb is rapid. I walk slowly to the Main North Fork and I don’t feel tired. Since the distance is not long, I don’t feel world-weary. It takes about an hour to reach the Main North Fork and then to the ridgeline. It's steep and the distance is not long, so it feels like you're on the edge in less than an hour. After reaching the ridge line, the North Peak actually feels very close. In the end, although it is a straight climb, there are ropes along the way and there are many stepping points. It does not take too much time to get to the triangle point. It takes another hour, so the normal total distance from Chenggong Mountain House to the North Peak is about Three hours.
On the return trip, the North Peak feels a little more exposed, so it is not dangerous to pull the rope down slowly. The descent is steep from the lower ridgeline to Chenggong Mountain House. Finally, we returned to the trailhead from Heishui Pond and walked up slowly. Afterwards, I felt a little tired because my physical energy was slightly exhausted, but it was not difficult to walk up slowly. All in all, don’t be too eager and push yourself too early. It’s actually quite easy... Don’t scare people by saying that Qilai is difficult to climb...!! Simple! As for attacking the north alone? 長知識了，查了一下網路真的是一等三角點沒編號，二、三等才有，感謝你的告知！
補充：台灣的一等百岳有11顆，我爬過的有玉山、雪山、三叉山、北大武山、和這次的奇萊北峰，之前沒注意過這幾顆沒編號，這次看了一下奇萊北峰的三角點，以為已經斑駁了，原來是一等三角點本來就沒有編號！
一等在台灣有74顆🙂

Most of scenes are taken by iPhone 14 pro without color adjustment. The climbing process near the triangle point (peak) is gopro 7 because I need my two hands to climb. And the final air drone is dji mini 2. I adjust it more colorful. Thanks for your watching!

影片看起來奇萊北峰岔路下去主北岔路好像比較好下喔～
往主北三岔路下主北岔路好像比較硬嗎？
我自己是這麼覺得。但是當天登頂的朋友持相反意見（我朋友夫妻是第三次去）（我後來又去一次）。
北峰上下主北岔都是坡度一致的一直碎石上坡；而主峰上下主北岔則是一段橫渡、一段上坡，有三段橫渡，而上坡的時候比北峰那邊坡度還陡。我隔了兩個月再去從北峰上、主峰下，也有剪了另一部影片不知道你有沒有看到！
我覺得大家如果主觀從爬升高度、上河百岳圖參考，可能覺得北峰那邊難爬，因為爬升較多、上河時間也較多，但是我覺得主峰那邊其實橫渡後的總距離相對長，陡坡更難爬，而且有很多地方有跌落谷底的危險，北峰這邊則幾乎沒有。
不過我去的兩次地面都稍微潮濕，比較不滑，如果乾燥時間可能碎石坡會更滑，或者下雨潮濕可能也會更滑，這些都要一併考慮。

其實還蠻多朋友在揪爬的，然後還要帶老婆一起爬，只是大家時間不是都每次可以配合。我七月還有約同事申請玉山排雲、奇萊主北，八月還有要去爬富士山，八月底到九月開學很忙，年底天氣太冷前應該還有機會！

請問入園證哪裡投遞
目前太魯閣國家公園入園是沒有人會檢查、也沒有入園信箱可以投遞的，所以你可以印下來帶在身上、或存在手機裡面，如果遇到公園的志工或者保七警察（通常是在小奇萊）檢查可以給對方看，但是遇到的機率很低！
雪霸國家公園都有設入園信箱、或直接用雪霸app線上報到、簽退，玉山國家公園只有塔塔加登山口、梅山口有入園報到、線上簽退。
